• The lobby was very nice and I loved all the art.
• The person I spoke with on the reservation line,
  was VERY rude and not helpful at all.

“The hotel was very mediocre as far as moderate to upscale hotels go, not necessarily bad but not inspiring of another visit either. The beds were not as comfortable as those we've recently experienced at Marriott, Hampton Inn, and Raddison. We were awaken in the middle of the night by several "partiers" next door and there was a falling-down drunk party in the lobby when my family left the pool... both had apparently come from on-site wedding receptions. I was uncomfortable having my children subjected to these things. At the same time, management did seem to address both issues.”

• Very nice hotel, excellent service from staff.
• Restaurant was very expense so we chose to dine elsewhere.

• The helpful staff, the shuttle service, and lots of pillows.
• The restaurant was out of my first choice for dessert. Had to make do with hazelnut torte. I suffered.

• Easy to get to, friendly employees, very clean, and felt safe.
• Cant think of anything.

“Everyone was very friendly, my girlfriend and I went down to the Old Town Market only a couple blocks away and the guy driving the shuttle bus took us down there and just pointed out some restaurants and other things, then we felt safe walking back to the hotel. And took some pictures of the neat things that were close by the hotel.”

• Nice large room, beautiful lobby and great pool.
  
• Internet charges prohibitive. Many hotels offer this for free.

“The Hilton Omaha is a top quality hotel in keeping with Hilton standards. The Lobby has a nice Starbucks-style coffee lounge, bar and restaurant. The pool and gym are fine and the staff helpful and friendly. A microwave and bar-fridge were freely provided promptly on request. Only minus- high internet charges in the Business Center. I did not have my laptop so I don't know if the in-room charges were high or not.

• Great decor in lobby and Starbucks too.

“Great hotel with fabulous decor, Starbucks on main level was convenient to hit on the way out the door, and its in a great location. Omaha is small enough that I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.”

• The linens/bedding were so comfortable. The shuttle to the Market area and Zoo were a great amenity.
• Front desk staff did not acknowledge me presence in a timely manner.

• The beds were extremely comfortable.
• For such an upscale hotel they charged extra for everything. Not even free Wi-Fi access.

“Nice hotel that was kept clean. Even cheap hotels have free Wi-Fi or some kind of internet access and they might even throw in a muffin for breakfast.”

• The staff wase especially helpful in helping us find locations around town.
• There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel. The restaurants were pricey so we ate elsewhere.

“Accommodations were excellent. The staff was extremely helpful. The shuttle service to old town was a lifesaver. The location was perfect for the places we planned to see (the Winter Quarters Temple and Time Out for Women at the Qwest Center. We would recommend it to our friends.”

• This was a high-class hotel! The staff was accommodating and professional. Beautiful and new design.

“Everything about this hotel was great. The decor was new and attractive. The staff was all friendly and accommodating. The bed was almost more comfortable than my own at home. The lobby had a coffee shop, restaurant, bar and plenty of casual seating areas, both inside and out. The location was across the street from the Qwest arena, and within walking distance from downtown. I'd stay here again and again.”

• The location, the decor and the staff at the front desk - superb!
• There was a lot of construction around it, dirty cup in the room and the baby beds were not set up & they were a pain to set up with 2 crying babies.

• I have stayed at this hotel before and would normally recommend it to others.
• The room had not been cleaned properly and the front desk did not handle this situation with any sense of urgency nor were they apologetic.

“A previous guest had thrown up next to the bed. The floor was still wet (my colleague stepped in it) and there was still food on the bed skirt. The front desk was not apologetic and just gave Matt a different room. I would expect the Marriott to handle this disgusting situation in a more professional manner.”

• The pool and hot tub are lovely however closed on Saturday for a week!
• The staff do not bother to say hello to guests and are snooty. We were charged incorrectly and our room wasn't made up until 6 pm the second day.

“I expected the stay at the Hilton to be the best part of the trip and instead it was the most disappointing. The hotel feels snooty and staff is not friendly. They don't provide free anything like hotels that have coffee in the lobby and internet access. They charge 59 cents a minute for internet access. Over-rated. No breakfast provided. Prefer comfort suites for comfort, staff, and all the extras!”

• I liked the location. It was close to most everything.
• There is $10 charge to use the fitness room. It doesn't matter if you only use it for 10 minutes, very rude Hilton employee.

“My family enjoyed a nice weekend away. Great location. Not exactly a family friendly environment, more for luxury and executives. My teenagers felt a bit awkward, most of the staff was friendly, but some was obviously put off by our presence. Over all very nice place.”

• How they charged for everything and did not have a complimentary breakfast.

“Ten dollars to use the pool? Another ten dollars to use the gym? Another eleven dollars to use the internet? Another nine dollars a day to park? No complimentary breakfast or even coffee in the lobby. Not impressed!”

“The hotel itself was nice, but they put a family with what sounded like 15 kids next to us in the adjoining room, the family was very loud, kept us up late and woke us up very early with screaming kids, etc. and even after we complained to security, they continued to make the noise. A family with little children shouldn't be placed next to anyone.”

• Beautiful furnishings and art in the lobby wonderful beds and luxurious bathroom vanity.
• I wish they had a two queen bed choice of rooms rather than only two full size or one king size.

• House keeping woke us up at 10:00 AM even though "Do not disturb" sign was out.

“Great hotel if you are not allergic to down feathers and are hard of hearing. Bring a fan for white noise, the room is too quiet and you can hear the neighbors TV and other conversation! I got very little sleep!”

• The kids loved the pool area and we appreciated the cleanliness of it. The beds were extremely comfortable!
• The first night we had loud people across the hall that partied until 2:30 a.m. So we kept hearing the doors banging.

“We were really impressed with the hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very nice. We enjoyed the pool area and took advantage of it every evening.”

• The staff was super friendly and the pool and spa were nice.
• Mandatory $9 for parking.

“My wife liked all of the extra bed pillows and my 19 month old loved jumping on the bed. We had a spectacular view of the interstate highway.”

• It is simply a higher end hotel.
• I cant really say anything bad about it.

“This hotel is nothing short of what you would expect from a Hilton. Excellent Downtown location with great dining facilities (although I didnt eat there they were visually appealing). Very comfortable beds and everything you could need otherwise on an out of town stay.”
