• Design, friendly check-in staff, great beds.
• Room was not cleaned for 2 days.

“Overall, my family's stay at the Hilton was a pleasant experience. We were immediately greeted at the door and upon checking in at the front desk. Our rooms were inviting and I enjoyed the accommodations. Our room was not cleaned for 2 days and we had notified the manager after the first occurrence. This was disappointing.”

• Nice updated look.
• A little far from downtown. Some common areas needed to be cleaned.

“Great price for our purpose. If you want to see downtown Memphis, though, know that you'll have to drive. 10 miles on city streets or 20 miles on the interstate loop around town.”

“It was the best Hotel experience in my 29 years of travel. It had everything; you really did not have to travel outside the Hotel. The atmosphere was perfect from romance to family friendly. It was a great stay.”

“It was good. When I first checked in I went to one person at the front desk and asked if I could check in and the guy rudely waved me away. I went to the next person who was more than helpful except that when I asked for a king instead of a double she forgot to tell me my new room until after I had been up to my room twice with new keys. On the third time to the desk they realized that they had forgotten to inform me of the room change, but once they realized the mistake they compensated me with a free buffet. Overall it was a good experience and I would stay there again.”

“I like to stay connected while on travel. Having to pay extra beyond the price of the room is extremely discouraging, especially at the prices offered. I prefer a refrigerator and a microwave for my own convenience.”

• There was really nothing I didn't like.

• The lobby has a nice bar, and the TV's in public spaces run FOX News!
• A very loud neighbor kept me from sleeping. The hotel's solution was to move me to another room, rather than ask the neighbor for quiet!

“I will not stay here again. I do not like the fact that they still charge for a usage fee for internet when many hotels, I stay in, have dropped this charge. I am particularly disappointed that I was required to get dressed and change rooms when another guest was so loud as to keep me awake. There are too many choices that travelers have rather than to be subject to less than standard treatment by a hotel.”

• Big beautiful lobby, large windows in the room. Quiet and peaceful dining room for breakfast.
• The shower broke during my shower! We had to move!

“Very easy check-in. Very capable staff at registration. Easy parking. Room very clean and floor to ceiling windows were very nice. The hotel is so tall, we could open the drapes and not worry about privacy. However, after our shower broke (during my shower) we had to move. The front desk supervisor said the only other room in the entire hotel was one on the 2nd floor. We had to move and I complained that I didn't want that low. He said the hotel was sold out for that night and that was our only option. He never seemed concerned or offered an apology or acted like he cared about our inconvenience. If the hotel was full, then why was the parking lot almost empty when we arrived back later that night after midnight and then again in the morning when we checked out? This was not very good first time experience.”

• There was a huge party of children who tied up the elevator for hours.

• This hotel is a modern, high-rise hotel with a beautiful large lobby with fountain.
• The front desk and check in is always a pain with a lot of waiting and lots of problems this time.

“I have stayed at this hotel before and was very pleased. This time the check in was full of problems. First, they put us in a smoking room, which was a surprise, since they described their hotel as being smoke free and I had to sign an agreement that I would not smoke in their building. I later found out that they recently changed the 5th floor to be all smoking rooms. The front desk then gave us another room and we were shocked to find people in that room. For the third attempt, the front desk send a bell hop with us to check the room before entering and we finally got a non-smoking room, but it had two double beds, instead of a king or queen bed.”

• The staff at the lobby bar and the bellman.
• Sad to say but I saw some roaches the bar that needs to be taken care of immediately.

“Great hotel with lots of surrounding amenities easy access to freeway and plenty of great places to eat minutes from excellent shopping mall. We came to go to the Memphis in May festival, but enjoyed the hotel convince so much we only left to go shopping or eat, all the other time we enjoyed the lobby area, the pool area and the gym.”

“The bed was very comfortable but when I turned it down and got in, there was dirt and a hair (not mine) in the bed. Housekeeping had to come and change the sheets. She couldn't believe what she saw.”

• The ridiculous price of internet service and in-room movies.

“Beauty and comfort are excellent. However it was ridiculous to charge $10 per night for wireless internet service. This should be furnished free. Also, a free continental breakfast would be desirable.”

• I loved the view of the pool and the fountain with ducks and a gazebo.
• There was a problem with our shower; internet would not work in room.

“Modern design, comfortable beds, all the conveniences of a modern hotel. Multiple outdoor pools and hot tubs, indoor pool, fountain and gazebo fun to watch while getting ready to go out at night. Close to good shopping and good restaurants. Safe neighborhood with patrolled lot.”

• The hotel was very nice and had a wonderful bar downstairs. The rooms were very nice and updated.
• I did not like that the outside of the hotel was had a missing window/mirror...which was covered by a piece of plywood...not a good first impression.

“If you don't want to be near downtown and are looking for a nice hotel to stay, this is the one. Try not to pay attention to the exterior. The inside is quite nice. Everyone was incredibly friendly and ALWAYS willing to assist! Beautiful service and everyone was always smiling! I'd stay there again!”

• Beautiful hotel, lovely restaurant, perfect.
• The only thing I can say is that it is located a good distance from the things we were there to see, we don't care. The hotel was awesome!

“As you would expect, this is a first class hotel. Our rooms were perfect, the beds were so comfortable. The lobby is modern and classy. Outdoor hot tub and pool which we didn't have time to use were nice! All of the staff was awesome. Awesome hotel.”

• Room decor and comfort.
• Having a bar located in the lobby and visible as soon as you enter the hotel lobby.

“Excellent. I really enjoyed the stay and wish I had a longer stay. I like the flat screen TV. but wish there were a larger channel lineup. Only one drawback, I requested a king room and was given a double but we made do since it was only three days. Overall, a great stay. I will be back.”

• This is a beautiful hotel and most staff very helpful.
• Not a big selection on the restaurant, very pricey and not so great service!

“Told staff at front desk it was our 5 yr wedding anniversary, staff didn't offer so much as a 'Happy Anniversary'. Bedroom not equipped with sign for extra towels. Room service was expensive, lots of extra charges just for bringing it to the room. I implied to the cashier at the restaurant that the food was better than the service we experienced and she said she would have a complimentary breakfast certificate sent to our room, it never came.”

• Noise from hallway, expensive convenience store.

“Very nice hotel. We were surprised at the level of noise from the hallway and highway traffic. We were on the 11th floor, so, view was nice. Room was decorated well and was fully functional. I appreciate the flat panel TV that allows AV inputs to be used.”

• This Hilton was spectacular and I am now looking forward to travel more. My young kids think that we are rich.
• Outdoor, unheated pool.

“Room was not made up by 2pm though we had been out of the room for hours before that. There were a lot of people there, but never felt over-crowded. The I-240 exchange was an accident magnet so lots of sirens outside hotel. Beautiful facilities though and very cool round floors!”

• Location, attractive exterior, large rooms.
• Walls/doors are paper thin, very noisy while in room.

“Hotel was very nice, rooms were large. Only complaint was that walls / doors did not provide any sound proofing effect at all. Hallways and adjoining rooms supplied excessive noise, hard to sleep.”

“We were sent to a smoking floor to a smoking room. They moved us to a handicap room, You could hear pans banging, people talking etc. also, the shower was just a shower. No kind of bathtub available. These were the absolute worst nights spent by my family.”
