• Spacious, clean & friendly.

“I was nervous about how the hotel might look being familiar with the general area. Upon reaching the hotel, I was very impressed from the get go. Convenient to I65 and Watterson. The hotel was very nice on the outside with great parking. Upon entering, I was even more pleased. Very friendly hotel staff. When I got to my room they called to see if I needed anything. Room very spacious and clean. Microwave, coffee maker, fridge, safe and hair dryer in room! Would recommend for business or pleasure!”

• Very clean, nicely decorated.
• The light for the bathroom also turned on the vanity light which lit up the whole room.

• This hotel had microwave, refrigerator, and kitchen sink that I need for medicine.
• I could only stay there four nights. I wish I could have stayed longer.

“I was pleasantly surprised that this hotel was as nice, and had every thing that I needed in my room, and the continental breakfast was a real treat also. The rooms were clean and the friendly staff made my stay very nice.”

• Clean; No additional charge for internet; Good continental breakfast.
• Must make left turn out of hotel without a traffic light - difficult at times.

“Very nice hotel for the price. Similar in accommodations and amenities to Drury Inns to which I am partial. Although the breakfast offering is not comparable to Drury, it is not bad. It beats Drury in that the TV's are not programmed to always turn on to the Anti-American news propaganda station "CNN" - which is unfortunately the case at all Drury Inns.”

• Large dog in next room barking late at night which staff promptly addressed.

• NO POOL.

• Staff extremely helpful and courteous, continental breakfast great, room nicely furnished and clean.
• Drive from airport involves some difficult routes.

• I liked that the room had a refrigerator , microwave,iron &ironing board ,free cont. breakfast and business center.
• There wer bars(cocktail lounges) within walking distance of the hotel

• Everything was beyond my expectations.

“I lived in Louisville before this trip and noticed this new hotel but never had a reason to stay there. When I booked the room, I expected to get a decent but typical small hotel room. Instead, I got a non-smoking room on the first floor with 2 queen beds, a kitchenette area, free internet, and a clean bathroom area. I was also impressed with the public lounge area, workout facilities, business center (small but easy to access), and the friendliness of the staff. I would definitely stay there again!”

• This hotel was very nice it was much nicer than the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville.
• This hotel was very difficult to get to.

• No Pool for the kids, but they are in the process of putting one in next summer.

• Nice and quiet even though it was next to the airport

“This hotel rates higher than the two stars . The room was large and had a good size refrigerator and microwave, all behind cupboard doors in a kitchen like suite. Lots of parking, convenient to downtown by hopping on the expressway. Restaurants nearby on Preston. Good size breakfast.”

“The furnishings were very modern and the room had a mini kitchen which was an unexpected plus. We received a no smoking king bed without even requesting it. Our room was right across from the stair exit and I loved the media room so I could take care of business while there. A lovely hotel.”

• The neighborhood was bad, but then it is an airport location.

“The location is the only downside, and given the location, they should think about improving outdoor lighting a bit. I checked in late and the girl seemed a bit annoyed by that, but otherwise everyone else was very friendly and helpful. The room was very new and spotlessly clean. The fridge and microwave were a pleasant surprise. The free cold breakfast was also a plus. The facility has no pool which would have been nice on such a hot weekend. Location offers easy access to the airport and freeways.”

• The grass was manicured and real flowers were planted in planters. When I drove up and saw this, I knew the inside must be just as beautiful.
• There was a "cigarette disposal" just outside the side door. It was too close to the door & smelled bad.

“I had never stayed at a LaQuinta before. I definitely enjoyed my stay there. The continental breakfast was great. The room was very spacious. There was a lot of cabinet space. The furnishings were beautiful & clean. The frigerator, microwave, safe, iron & ironing board, and blow dryer made it very convenient. The kids were very comfortable on the roll away bed also. We were there for 5 days. It really was a very nice stay. I'll go there again for sure.”

• Was a new property (5 years Old) always nice to stay in newer hotels.
• Did not have a swiming pool.

• Very clean and nice. Great hotel for the price!!
• Shuttle from airport to hotel - no driver - had to take cab - but they paid for it.

“We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. They have a shuttle to the airport and you can leave your car at the hotel for free. The only bad thing was that they didn't have a driver when we called to get a ride back to the hotel from the airport (to pick up our car). We were told to take a cab and they would pay for it. The cab driver was FURIOUS at the hotel because he had been doing this for days! Not a pleasant ride back to the hotel. The hotel needs to get a driver - but all in all - a pleasant stay.”

• There is a nightlight in the bathroom that brightens the room.

“If you need a basic room close to the airport or Convetion Center/Freedom Hall in Louisville, the La Quinta Inn hits the mark. No major complaints except that our supposedly non-smoking room was still somewhat smoky. The complimentary continental breakfast was good.”
