• Comfortable room & I enjoyed the mgrs. reception in the evening.
• I did not like that they did not have a pool, and offered the use of the sister hotels pool next store for an additional $5.00 a person.

“This hotel was very nice, and the staff was excellent. The only thing I could say bad about hotel is that the breakfast was very limited, and to use a pool, you had to go to the sister hotel next store and pay $5.00 a person. I could definitely recommend this hotel very highly still.”

“Good room for solo traveler or a couple. For myself, my son and my mom, room was too small. Nice that neighboring hotel's pool was offered (for a fee) and nice to have continental breakfast.”

• Smoking room had bad odor. Unhelpful staff.

“This is your basic one or two-star hotel. The neighboring guests were loud. The room was what one would expect, except that we were placed in a smoking room. The odor caused by whatever was used to try to cover up the smoke odor was foul. The person at the front desk could not have been less helpful. And the breakfast spread next morning was lame. I know breakfast was "free" but still. I would not return.”

• The location was excellent.
• Wireless internet worked intermittently. Phone had buzz in it.

“Didn't like it. Not as good as Quality Inn. Would not recommend it or stay there again. Couldn¿t get wireless internet to work and phone had a buzz in it making it difficult to make business calls. They gave me a different bigger room the second night, but the internet still gave me a lot of problems. The staff response to problems was very average at best. Did not have a good experience.”

• Could open the window and feel the breeze.
• No iron in room, toilet quit working, and very tiny room.

“I would not stay at this location again. The sheets looked like there were tire treads on them and did not look very clean. The towels were soft though. Lighting was poor in the room, but the free breakfast was good.”

• Room was really small, not much walking space without bumping into something.

• Rooms were so small that if we were claustrophobic we could not have stayed there.

• Cute front desk attendant.
• Non-English speaking staff and room werent ready when promised.

“In the lobby of the hotel the plaster and drywall was crumbling and lying all over the floor. Check in is 3:00pm, or so we were told. Showed up at 3:45pm and our room was still not ready. Front desk attendant went to see how long it would be until it was ready. She came back down and offered us a different room that was ready so we went upstairs to the room she said was ready only to find that the cleaning crew had just started cleaning it!”

• The room included a coffee maker, fridge, and a microwave.
• The sheets had a cigarette burn in them in a non-smoking area and the comforter smelled stale.

• The sheets and bathroom towels were unbelievably dirty!

“Everything was dirty and not maintained. The sheets were I¿d say almost 20years old. The stains are perfectly clear on them! It was disgusting. The room was neither vacuumed nor dusted. The bathroom towels were also almost 20 years old. Not at all up to my expectations for the day¿s inn and suites!”

• We loved the complimentary hot and cold drinks available 24-hours.
• Rooms are small but efficient and the hotel was difficult to find off the exit.

“This is a nicer, new hotel that has very small but efficient rooms. Everything was very clean. The complimentary breakfast was commendable and drinks were available 24-hours. The hotel entrance is difficult to find, but there are signs to direct you. The staff seemed preoccupied with talking amongst themselves, but we did not lack for anything.”

• There was a nice continental breakfast, and the staff were helpful.
• One person working the reception desk seemed a little bit unprofessional/disinterested in us.

“We enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn and Suites, Lafayette, IN. For the money, we could not have found a better place to stay. There were some minor glitches, as the power went out at the hotel in the evening for about 3 hours, but that is not a fault of the hotel staff. We enjoyed our stay, and found the staff to be mostly kind and helpful.”

• Strong smell of room freshener. Carpet stained in hall ways No pool.

“Very clean room and bathroom. Strong room freshener smell was annoying. The double queen room was twice the size of a single. Overall we were pleased with our stay for the price we paid.”

“The parking lot was well lit so I felt safe when I returned to my room late in the evening. The rooms were very clean, however, they were small. I would return to this hotel and I would recommend it.”

• Facility was clean and maintained - no broken/unpainted/missing parts to room furniture or equipment. Friendly attendant at front desk.
• Cleaning staff did not speak English and could not help me. Can hear easily through walls.

“This hotel was clean and offered limited amenities. Breakfast was ample, always hot coffee available. However, could hear neighbors easily through walls. Was difficult to find, may need better sign age.”

• Free wireless Internet and cheap basic lodging.
• Staff not too friendly.

“The room is small, good for one or best two in a squeeze. Not for a family, for that you would have to shell out $15 extra for each night above the rates. Wireless Internet is free, free parking, free "continental" breakfast. Felt safe. The front desk was empty both during arrival and when I was leaving, and it took several minutes before anyone noticed, and they were not apologetic.”

• This was a poor quality hotel. It had a bad odor and uncomfortable beds.

“I would not have paid $10.00 to stay there. The whole hotel stunk like cigarette smoke and mildew. The bed not only stunk, but it was very uncomfortable. This should have been rated a negative star hotel. We were scared to try the breakfast because of the smell of the hotel. We were both very unhappy with this hotel. Overall a bad place to stay and I would not recommend it to anyone!”

• The hotel was a former Microtel.

“Accommodations are really skimpy and not high quality. Since the Lafayette site was a former Microtel, the rooms are very small. I would not recommend a Days Inn to anyone.”

“Had to bring a "tempurpedic topper" to sleep on as I was traveling with my daughter. Location is fine, hotel is clean, but the walls are paper thin and the noise level in the hallway from the rowdy college age students in for the soccer tournament was unbearable.”

• The location was close to shopping and to Purdue University.
• The room was the size of a closet. There were hairs on the bathroom floor. Mattress was visible stained on the side.

“The room was dirty! There were hairs on the bathroom for and the box spring mattress was badly stained, you couldn't help but stare at it while sitting on the other bed. The staff members were very polite and nice. The continental breakfast was okay. ”

• They offered a great complimentary breakfast.
• The children's pull out bed and linens were dirty, the bath didn't hold water, the phone didn't work in our room. Vending machines broken for H2O.

“I questioned if the room that we stayed in was even clean! We were able to upgrade to a room with a pull out sofa bed for my 2 children to sleep in. But when we removed the cushions from the sofa there were several cracker crumbs and other food items under the cushions, the linens for the children beds were thrown into the closet, not folded, so we had to go to the desk for new ones. The phone in our room was dead and couldn't be fixed. My children don't drink soda, so I tried to get them juice or water from the vending machines, they didn't work, the person working the desk just gave me my money back, didn't offer to give me juice or water. The bathtub didn't hold water the children's bath. The room size was nice for people traveling with children, I wouldn't want anything smaller.”

“I was impressed with the hotel once I got to the room. But it is behind 2 other hotels and the entrance is hard to find and then you have to go thru another hotel parking lot to get to the hotel. It is very confusing especially at night when you have not been there before. I will stay there again in April when I go back for another antique show.”

• Close to interstate 65.
• No water pressure in shower.

“The hotel was clean and convenient to I-65 and many Lafayette restaurants. The bed was below average in comfort level. The main reason I would not ever stay in this hotel again was due to the total lack of water pressure in the bath and shower. I could have gotten more pressure by filling a glass and dumping it on my head. I would not choose this hotel again.”

• The hotel was very conveniently located.
• The walls in the hotel seemed paper thin. You could hear everything!

“Our overall stay at Days Inn & Suites in Lafayette, wasn't the most pleasant. Being awaken at 2:30 and 6:30 in the morning because of a crying baby 3 rooms down did not put us in a pleasant room!”
