• Fitness area had all of the needed equipment for a good workout, plus cold water provided.
• New showerheads are needed.

“Liked the no smoking atmosphere and no gambling but close to the Strip if you wanted to gamble. The welcome chocolate and Jelly Bellies at check in were a nice way to start the visit. Pool area small. Beds comfortable, bathroom large.”

• Very nicely appointed. Nice bathrooms.
• Location is a bit off the strip and hard to go south from it.

“The location is not ideal. It is located on Paradise Rd, right next to the Convention Center, but if you want to go south on Paradise Rd, as you most likely will (almost everything fun in Vegas is to the south of this hotel), you will have to go north and make a dangerous U turn at the next light.”

“We were very pleasantly surprised when we walked into this very stylish and chic lobby. I love the decor. The rooms are nice and the bed it comfortable. If you need to visit the Convention Center, then this is the hotel for you just next door, and you can grab a cup of Starbucks coffee in the hotel on your way out.”

“The only negative things I can say are 01) there was a large stain (approx. 6"+) on carpet. The rest of the room was very clean. Additionally, I went down to hotel counter to set up two wakes up calls between two days. The first call never arrived. The second one did.”

• Fabulous room, cleanest you can imagine, amazing bed.
• Horrible pool location, lobby full of visitors and bags for conference.

“I recommend only if you are a business man, avoid if you want to go for fun in Vegas, staff always busy with conferences, no privacy for guests in pool witch also is in a horrible location, you need to wake up early in the morning to get any sun. I Can believe this hotel is in Las Vegas.”

• Non-smoking hotel, the modern Zen feel of the room and public spaces, the complementary fresh fruit in the 24 hour gym.
• The pool area is shady past the morning, the walls between the rooms are thin (you can hear the neighbors next door).

“Great stay at a great hotel. Would definitely return to this non-smoking establishment, which is refreshing in a town where smoking is allowed everywhere!”

• The beds were extremely comfortable and clean!
• The restaurant was way too expensive!

“This is a very nice 4-star hotel just off the strip. Excellent access to the Monorail. The rooms were very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well designed. I liked the fact that there was no casino in the lobby, allowing me to not completely gamble my face off. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great Vegas stay without all the cheese.”

• Would recommend reformatting TV screen to make it easier to find local channels.

• The room service with charges was pricey.

“The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was cozy and well appointed. We liked that it was a smoke free environment (not like the casino hotels.) The 24 hour gym was a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again.”

“I had high expectations due to the fact I stayed at this hotel last year. What ruined the experience for me was the smell of sewage in the bathroom. Apparently the pipes were too dry, etc..The engineering staff was able to solve the problem after two hours and about 10 trips to my room. Housekeeping also took about 4 hours before they came and cleaned up the mess left by the engineering staff.”

• It's fine. Next time I will check to see which convention center by location. Whatever savings I incurred, I could l lost with the $22 cab rides.

• The environment was terrific. Well worth the price. Staff was extremely friendly.
• One of the people in my party mentioned that the shower was not as clean as they would like. They found hair from a prior person in the shower.

“The business oriented hotel has a nicely modern comfortable decor with all the amenities that one would expect including pool, whirlpool, and well-equipped exercise facility. Even though I was in a large family group, I found the staff friendly and attentive to our and other guest's needs. The best part of this was, all this was provided in a nice smoke-free environment! Which is hard to find in Vegas.”

• Quick and easy access to Las Vegas Monorail and very nice accommodations.
• Entrance was not well marked, initially hard to get into.

“Easy access to Las Vegas strip because close to Monorail Station, no smoking, no gambling was appreciated, plenty of that on the strip. Quiet, very clean and upscale. Friendly staff. Really loved hotel, would be my 1st choice if I went back again.”

• Beautiful, clean, Starbucks in lobby, wonderful staff.
• Restaurant becomes expensive steakhouse at night abbreviated menu at bar or coffee bar.

“Very convenient to Las Vegas Convention Center, hotel is quiet and more relaxing for the business traveler than hotel/casinos. Very clean and well appointed rooms. Fridge in room with FREE cold bottled water. Excellent staff. Because of hotel size there were no long lines at check-in, luggage assistance or valet.”

• I don't like being a 4 star hotel doesn't provide their customers bottled water in the room.

• The inside of the hotel is very elegant. The inside staff was excellent.
• My car was keyed in the parking structure.

“The hotel was very nice however, when researching the hotel another customer stated they had an incident with their car being vandalized I thought it was an isolated incident until I got home and noticed the very deep scratches in my rental cars paint. I would not recommend this hotel for this reason.”

• I found the location of this hotel is excellent, not too crowded but very convenient. The Envy restaurant is excellent, strongly recommend.
• Not many variety of amenities in the room, like razor, slippers, sanitary bags etc. If there is a indoor swimming pool, then will be perfect.

“At first, the taxi driver took us to the wrong "Venizia" hotel, then we got to take another ride to the right "Renaissance" Hotel. So, imagine after you saw the "Venizia" - 5 stars hotel, how will you expect? But after we sat down at the restaurant in the hotel, we found that the food is excellent, the workers are friendly, the most important is : smoke free in this hotel coz I have a 11 years old daughter with us. We like this hotel very much. If there is an indoor swimming pool than it would made it perfect!”

• Cheap towels.

“Spacious bathroom, with shower stall separated from the tub. Toilet paper hanger installed awkwardly and is hard to reach for. Should have more place to hang towels (only 1 place to hang towels). Has a small refrigerator which is very convenient. Cheap towels reminded me of going to the gyms. Internet is very slow, for some reason. Have a convenient spot for ironing board & a place to rest ironer as well as an electrical outlet nearby. Noise level is a little high, probably caused by not having enough in-wall insulation (I had to listen to my neighbor's conversion every morning). Full-size desk is great for laptop & work. Has built-in safe which is great. Close to monorail station, but far from everything else. Probably great for business traveler who wants convenient access to Convention Center.”

“The location is excellent next door to convention center, with monorail station and Wynn shuttle close by. The noise from the hallway and room next door was high. The outside noise was minimal. Small pool and Jacuzzi outside with towels. Restaurant and deli on site with good food. Seemed understaffed. Our room was not even cleaned one day or our stay.”

• Upscale accommodations w/o a casino.
• Our room was facing paradise road thus traffic noise was an issue.

“The room was small but very clean and nicely furnished. There was plenty of reading light and ample electrical outlets. My only complaint was that there were no washcloths. Parking was very convenient and it was only a short walk to the monorail for transportation to the strip if desired.”

• I liked the 50s retro decor of the hotel.
• I did not like that they didn't have complimentary internet access.

“This is a good and comfortable hotel for the business traveler who does not want to deal with the noise and distractions of a casino hotel in Las Vegas, but for my experience, it was difficult to get around seeing the attractions on the strip since this hotel was off strip.”

“The Renaissance was wonderful. It provides easy access to the Strip by means of the monorail. The peace and quiet every night was a great relief from the flashing and arcade-like noise of all the Strip hotels. It is easy to locate all of the amenities. The small cafe had a good selection of snacks and coffee. The concierge and valet service was friendly and fast. The hotel was spotless and the rooms incredibly comfortable. I seriously can't think of anything wrong, or something I didn't like about this hotel.”

• Pretty, boutique style.
• After two attempts, I could not get them to extend my stay from 3 to 4 nights.

“Within walking distance of Convention Center; attractive, clean, but away from Strip. If this is for business travelers, why do they continue to charge $12.95/day for internet? The restaurant Envy came much recommended, but I was very disappointed. Thanksgiving evening, courses took so long my granddaughter fell asleep waiting. One item never came; extreme attention given to two ladies drinking and loud even brought them a second dessert on the house which they refused. I have reason to believe it went to the kitchen and came directly out to my granddaughter, melted. We ordered no wine and were ignored. Our waiter was rude and inattentive. The food was overpriced.”

“This is a great hotel for the business Traveler. The service and dining at this location are excellent. The best feature of this hotel is that it is located directly next to the Hilton Convention Center. If you use Wi-Fi you will need to pay for it.”
