• In room amenities were great.
• Trash was on the outside of the trash can by the elevator and was there the next day.

“We couldn't get the DVD player to work to see a movie. Overall the hotel accommodated our needs.”

• Nothing.
• Almost everything.

“The hotel was a typical 2* below average, however the accommodation did not reflect the room provided. The manager said they could not provide what was paid for only what was available. My resent trip to Savannah GA was great, the two 3* hotels was just a few bucks more than at the Candle Wood with far better accommodation/service.”

• Very clean.
• I was surprised that a 2-star would not have a pool. I'm learning!

“I would definitely recommend this hotel. Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We were very close to the US Space and Rocket center which was our destination.”

• I liked having the kitchen facilities and the cupboard.
• The elevator and hall carpets could have been a bit cleaner.

“It was quite comfortable. Very quiet. I would definitely consider using Candlewood Suites in the future.”

• They though of everything for our room.
• Nothing.

“The hotel was real close to the space and rocket museum. The hotel was friendly, clean, and everything stocked. We liked how they had everything such as pots, pans, silverware. We definitely would return.”

• Very spacious.
• Out of the way of food places and entertainment.

“The hotel was okay; they didn't have a room ready when we came, but the staff was nice, and cleaned our room right away. The room was spacious and met our expectations, but it definitely wasn't a 3 or 4 star hotel, and the water was warm not hot that was kind of annoying. Other than that, though, it was perfect for our short trip.”

• No swimming pool.

• Location.
• Loud and loitering in lobby.

“The hotel was clean and was good room for the price. However, I arrived at 10:30pm and they front desk lady was putting my key into a kiosk. No late arrivals especially for an airport hotel? I had to swipe my key into the kiosk and then punch some numbers and the kiosk spit my key out. The hotel had plenty of rooms and she put me right next to the front desk, the lobby. There was no way to change. That was a big bummer. So were the type of people loitering in the lobby. I checked out early with no problems. The location is great. Exit 14 can be a little tricky.”

• Liked the decor, DVDs, exercise room, kitchen.
• Needs free breakfast buffet.

“We went to the Huntsville Space Center. The hotel was convenient for this purpose. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Clean; appeared to be a low crime area. Staff (Eric) was very nice and helpful. Ice maker in our kitchen did not work, but we did not report it until check out. Once reported, maintenance was immediately sent to the room.”

• staff un willing to help in any way, busy talking with each other

“rooms small asked for rollaway 1 bed for 2 peoplenot big enough.(mother and daughter)was refusedask if another room with 2 beds was refused.wasnot helful at all , only 3 towels for weekend andnever anyone at desk to trade for fresh ones,had to go wash them for baths on sunday.I have never stayed any where and had to wash towels.I will never stay there again.”

• It was very clean and easy to get to

“The staff was very helpful - even before I got there. They gave me directions to come a shorter way. This was nice since I was traveling at night and after a long day at work. I would stay here again.”

“No maid service, we had to use the same towels for three nights. Floor was dirty. Tub was dirty. No extra soap. Will not stay there again.”

“My room was not cleaned the whole stay. I had to use the same towels every night. I had to leave early in the mornings and did not return till late at night, therefore I was not able to talk to any one at the desk. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I am very disappointed.”
