• Clean, convenient, good breakfast with nice lady helping. Nice hot tub.
• I found nothing negative.

“This hotel well above my expectations. The rooms were very nice and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hot tub was clean and very warm, which I like for relaxing at the end of the day. The breakfast was good and the nice lady running the breakfast room treated you like you were one of her own children. I travel to Jackson often for business and this place has been my favorite.”

• The swimming pool in the front entrance, floor slippery, I almost slipped down.

• The staff member that works in the breakfast area was always pleasant and friendly, she always help you get what you needed.
• The location of the pool, right in the front entrance, we almost slip down several time because the floor was wet.

“The location of the hotel was in a safe location. The front desk staff was very nice and friendly. Very professional. The only problem I had in my room was the location of the mirror, it was in the hallway, it was not mounted correctly. I thought it was going to fall off the wall. I wished they had a small refrigerator in the room. No microwave in the room either. There was one downstairs in the breakfast room which was an inconvenience.”

• Beds were comfortable and location was convenient.
• Staff was not accommodating at all. Very disappointed with the service.

“This hotel is located conveniently near the airport, but around several restaurants and a few entertainment spots. Beds are extremely comfortable, facilities are clean. Staff is not helpful or friendly, insisting on my wife and me staying in a room with two queen beds instead of a room with a king bed for our anniversary, even though rooms were available.”

“Once again, this hotel is one that really enjoyed staying at. I will be making a lot more trips to Jackson and hopefully I will be visiting this hotel again. The only thing I would have liked to have was a refrigerator and microwave, but other than that everything was wonderful.”

• Great Staff at check-in and until 11PM.
• Elevator needed to be vacuumed.

“Not a bad place for the $'s! Great check-in staff and they helped me out because of their remodel in progress they printed out a few things for me. They simply went "beyond". Would probably stay there again.”

“The lady in the room next to me attempted suicide. I had 3 EMTs and 3 police officers outside my room, along with the woman's screaming family members. The hotel refused to move me to another room without charging me for a new room, and I was provided no compensation for my inability to sleep in such a chaotic environment.”

“This stay was by far the best of any Ive ever stayed in for the price. The staff is very kind and the wait on yourself continental breakfast. Any time Im in the Jackson area I know where I'll be staying. I dont know much about star ratings for hotels but this one deserves more than two I do know that.”

• The staff was quite accommodating, the room was clean, the indoor pool and hot tub were delightful, and we enjoyed the breakfast.

• For me it was very inconvenient in that there was not a fridge or microwave. I am a travel nurse.

“The staff was very personable and accommodating. The fitness center was good. My only disappointment was there was not a refrigerator or microwave in the room. I am a travel nurse and travel to Jackson weekly to work and use hotels as housing. I don't need an extended stay hotel with a stove, but a fridge and microwave would do just fine for reheating meals and storing leftovers. It has a very quiet environment, especially considering the traffic of people that filter in and out of the hotel.”

• Poor watch over swimming area, a woman was swimming topless in the pool. The pool was too close to the front desk for the employees to not notice.

• No options on type of bed (twins vs. king).

“I was traveling with my wife and daughter. I got a room with one king bed. The hotel had no other options. I get a hotel room next to the elevator and have to listen to the elevator ringing late into the night and early in the morning. ”

“The staff was not friendly, they seemed as if they would rather be doing other things. When I asked for more towels that evening none were brought up. In the morning when I asked for more towels, they were brought up immediatly. The vent in the bathroom looked as if it was falling off of the celing tile.”

• This hotel was located right off of I-55. Very easy to find.
• I made coffee in the room but I couldn't drink it because it tasted like soap.

“I would recommend this hotel. My room was clean and in good repair. The bed was very comfortable. Check in was quick so was check out. Clerks were friendly. The continental breakfast was great! There was an exercise room and indoor pool and whirlpool. I would definitely stay here again if I was traveling through this area.”

“Pretty good deal - high speed wireless internet but my computer would not hook up (Windows 2000). The hotel had cards but they require WinXP. I just wish they would have the plug-in connection in the rooms as well as wireless. Not a big gripe unless you need a hardwire connection. Nice pool/hot tub and workout room. Mediocre breakfast - no hot food except for oatmeal and toaster for bread. Waffle Iron was out of service. Hotel has had a recent renovation. I had read many comments about broken furniture/dirty. I did not find that to be the case. Manager bent over backwards to satisfy - she even let me borrow her computer one evening to check e-mail. Decent deal for the price.”

“The room didn't have a coffee pot but they did have a continental breakfast in the dining room which was very well stocked with good food. The furniture was pretty beat up in my room - the sink was damaged and the bathtub had black stain in it. I would not stay there again.”

“My stay at the Fairfield Inn, N. Jackson, MS was OUTSTANDING! From the moment I walked through the door I knew it was going to be a great experience. The staff was very friendly and professional. The room was in perfect order. The pool, spa, and fitness room were clean and in excellent shape! The Continental Breakfast was AWESOME! Best one I have ever seen! Having free access to the internet 24/7 allowed me to check on personal and business email without having to hook up my equipment. The location was outstanding as well. I was a stones throw from fine eateries and good shopping. Overall, I would rate this as my best hotel experience ever.”
