• The location was very convenient for our visit to Hershey.
• The supports for one of our beds broke, and no one fixed it.

“I would not recommend this hotel to others. There was stuff on the floor that would have been noticed if housekeeping had vacuumed even just the high traffic areas. One riser on one of the beds was broken (so the bed was uneven). We reported this but it was not fixed in the 2 days we were there. The elevator was an adventure all unto itself. All in all, not up to the quality I had expect from this hotel.”

• The whole overall experience.
• The pool area floor was very slippery.

“I have stayed at this hotel several times before when it belonged to another chain. I must say that Sheraton has made very nice updates to this property. I would recommend it to my friends. I also stay for large groups several times a year. This property would be my first choice when staying in the Harrisburg- Hershey Area.”

• Really enjoyed the full grill cabana at poolside. Hotel food was outstanding.
• Waited over an hour for food at restaurant. Service was very slow.

“Excellent staff for the most part, helpful from front desk to poolside. The restaurant food was fabulous and served a late dinner. Bathrooms were a little small, but overall experience a very pleasant one.”

• The location was excellent.
• The gift shop was not anything special.

“We greatly enjoyed our stay. The hotel provided us with a great directory of local restaurants, the directions were the most helpful. It was a great hotel for families as well as couples like my wife and I who were staying without our children.”

“We went to Hershey. A wonderful, clean and friendly hotel. There is Chili's, Fridley's and a nice diner. The pool was nice and plenty of towels.”

• Very easy to get to from Hershey park.
• Pool water was somewhat cold.

“We enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff was very helpful and nice. We ordered room service for breakfast. There was a great selection of food and the food was very good and not too pricey.”

• Cleaning staff knocked on door three different times the morning of checkout. Was really annoying.

• Nice staff, reasonable value, close to Hershey.
• If you look closely many flaws.

“Not sure if this was a great hotel in decline or a hotel trying to improve. The lobby and common areas were very nice. Had to change rooms because of very musty odor. The second room was better, but poor attention to details i.e. no toilet paper, an old sock, dirt under the bed. The indoor/outdoor pool was cool, but in dire need of repairs.”

• Clean hotel with a nice sized indoor/outdoor pool.

“For a two night stay, the hotel was excellent for our needs. We had to be in several locations in Harrisburg and in Hershey and we found we were only about 10-15 minutes away from every place we needed to be.”

• It was close to the interstate highway.
• No Continental Breakfast, Towel racks located within the shower. No directory of hotel services, No weather channel on the TV.

“It was excellent for our short visit that did not include much time at the hotel. My main complaint was that there was only one bag caddy, so we had to use the Ironing board for the second suitcase. This is a standard complaint that could be easily corrected.”

• Pool was dirty, maid service did not respect 'do not disturb'; View out window was wall of weeds.

“It was very easy to check in. But the entry way that I was directed to, was poorly lit and no elevator nearby. Our view out the window was a wall of weeds and shrubs, almost as if it was a basement level. The bathtub didn't have a plug option. When flushing the toilet, it sounded like a jet plane was launching. The water that was supposedly complimentary even had a tag on it mentioning a 1.50 charge. We asked for an upgrade to a window room for our third night and noticed different amenities such as a working bathtub, ventilation system, bathrobe. Even a different selection of toiletries. This hotel was not up to a 3 star.”

“This was a top-notch experience. They had a great indoor/outdoor pool which my grandchildren loved. The staff was very friendly. The room had Starbucks coffee. It's in a very beautiful location, and also very close to Target, JCPenney, and others shops, plus nice places to eat. It was a very pleasant stay.”

“Convenient by car to Hershey Park and Downtown Harrisburg. It has an indoor/outdoor pool, which was packed with families. They also have an outside "beach bar" that serves alcohols and simple food at reasonable prices. They do offer happy hour on Fridays and perhaps other days.”

• The room was spacious and cozy and clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff courteous.
• There were no adult swim times at the pool, unable to enjoy it without kids screaming, jumping and splashing water.

“We enjoyed this hotel. If you are looking for a quiet stay at a hotel then this hotel is not for you. Mainly because of the screaming children at the pool. Other than that the hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean as well as climate controlled. Each room has its own thermostat. All in all I would stay there again and recommend it to my friends.”

• Maid staff was rude and very noisy after hours because of group staying at hotel.

“Front desk was very friendly. We had several issues with our keys not working and having to go back to the front desk. We had issues with house keeping not keeping bathroom "essentials" stocked, not getting the room cleaned until after 4pm and then we were told that we would have to wait until the nightshift came on, and then the hairdryer went out. Overall, the facility was nice but the service was not up to standard.”

• Parking was a little confusing with the location of our room but nothing too bothersome.

• I loved the staff who were very accommodating and impressed with our room/hotel.

“I wasn't sure of how to get to my hotel and the desk clerk was absolutely patient with giving me great directions. I had taken my niece & nephew to Hershey Park and had told them we had a great hotel & room. They were impressed with all the amenities (frig, iron w/ironing board, blow dryer, & room service).”

“Although the beds were too small and way too soft for me, I found the hotel to be a friendly and convenient place. The staff was nice and helpful and the restaurant and bar was cool too. The pool was a hit with the kids as usual.”

• Good location with plenty of restaurants & shopping nearby. Free parking.
• Need better sound-proofing between rooms and with door, and I had noisy neighbors from a block of rooms on my floor. Mattress was a bit too hard.

• This hotel was very easy to get to and was clean.
• The housekeeping staff was extremely loud.

“Stayed at this hotel while traveling on the PA turnpike. Very convenient location. Staff was efficient and nice. Has small shop for snacks and sundries. Room was large and clean. Pool was beautiful. Housekeeping staff was very large and kept cleaning cart in center of hall which made it difficult to get around with luggage. Normally I would think this was just a single incident but it happened several times during the stay and the housekeeping staff were not offering to move to help the guests navigate. A couple of staff was yelling obscenities at each other rather loudly in the hall. Overall stay was great though and as I don't really care what the housekeeping staff does as long as it wasn't in my room, I would definitely stay again.”

“The location of this hotel is great and the common areas are nicely appointed. But the rooms were small and needed some work. The walls seemed paper thin. I did like the electronic thermostat on the wall and the fact that I could run the fan all night to hide outside noises.”

• Maid did not clean room or leave fresh towels.

“Overall I enjoyed my stay; the front desk staff was wonderful. The room was very nice and clean. The only problem was the maid did not clean it after we arrive or bring us fresh towels. We had to call guest services to get towels; they were very prompt in bringing them to us. I would definitely stay here again.”
