• The room stunk. They only clean the room once a week.

• Really quiet, clean and easy to get to.
• Nothing.

“We really liked how quiet it was, you did not hear your neighbors, the staff gave us short cuts to get where we needed to go, the staff was very courteous and professional, it was clean and comfortable and we would recommend this hotel to anyone. It came with a small kitchenette and some cooking utensils.”

• Hotel room had full kitchen and DVD/VCR and CD player!
• They had to give us a smoking room because they had few vacancies.

“This hotel is nicer than some 3 stars I've been too. There is no pool, which was a downside, had a hotel store with reasonable prices, free washer and dryer, exercise room. The kitchen inside the hotel room even had a dishwasher! Definitely a great place to stay if your stay is longer than one night.”

• Wonderful beds and amble room. Very comfy.
• The hotel ran out of in room coffee and we had to purchase our own.

• Convenient, kitchen facilities, little "store, quiet.
• No extra pillows or blankets available in closet.

“It's a good place to stay for us on the west side of town. It has amazingly heavy doors on its rooms, which are conducive to peace and quiet-we seldom hear other guests. Parking lot is ample.”

• The guy at the front desk was so accommodating, I stayed an extra night.
• I'd prefer Wi-Fi but was confined to the cable.

“The staff was great, it was clean, and I would come back again if I'm in the area. Some highlights are: laundry service, internet, and movie rental was free. There also was a variety of food for purchase at reasonable prices.”

• I was very impressed with the hotel from the initial driving in to register to leaving time.
• No complimentary breakfast.

• It was clean and well maintained. I would like to stay there again.
• No bed option. All they had were single queen size beds. I was with my teenage son. No rollouts or other options.

• The bed was very comfortable and the blankets, sheets and towels were very nice.
• Did not have a pool or a complimentary breakfast. Room had kind of an odd odor.

“This hotel is set up for an extended stay traveler and is very nicely equipped and planned for that sort of traveler. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were clean, inviting and of good quality. A nice change from some I've been in where you couldn't help but think about how many thousands of customers preceded you. As weekend leisure travelers, though, we missed having access to a pool and we really missed the complimentary breakfast that helps leisure travelers get on their way each day quickly and economically. But, certainly a positive experience for us.”

• Rooms were very small and there was a foul odor.

“My kids belong to a travel club ball and we do a lot of traveling in the spring and summer. My over all experience with this hotel was a very big disappointment. It was not a family friendly hotel. There was no pool, ice machine and not enough beds in the rooms.”

• I loved having the kitchenette. It was nice being able to keep my leftovers from the restaurants.
• The trash in the bathroom had not been emptied.

“All in all this was a great hotel. I understand that the trash in the restroom may have been overlooked because it was in the cabinet under the sink. Everything else was very nice.”

• The kitchenette was a nice plus. The rooms were absolutely clean.
• I was missing a light bulb in one of the fixtures. I had to ask two different desk attendants to get it replaced,

• It was off the road a bit--very quiet, clean and we got a good deal!
• No problems--I hope we get another stay there!

“The doors on the rooms were heavy-almost like fire doors, but great because they inhibited hall sound. The coupon for a free soft drink was a nice touch--not so much monetarily-but I¿ve never been offered that before. I like having the kitchen--very handy. All in all, I¿d enjoy another stay there.”

• In house shopping, well equipped room. Evening cookout, compliments of the hotel.
• No complaints.

“Candlewood offers well equipped spacious rooms including a dishwasher and refrigerator with an ice maker and complimentary high speed internet. There is a free laundry, complimentary newspaper and basic groceries are available for breakfast and dinner at reasonable cost without leaving the hotel. The staff is friendly and efficient. Located within 2 minutes walk is an excellent home style restaurant, that also offer the entire menu to go in for those who prefer to dine in their rooms. Many restaurants of various styles are within a mile. The small things make a difference at this hotel, like the offer of a bottle of water as I was leaving, for the journey to the airport!”

• The room was excellent. I did not expect to get a room with a kitchen.
• I did not like being unable to find out anything about the hotel before paying for it.

“This hotel is in a quiet neighborhood but very close to many great attractions, and with easy access to several major routes. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a "mini-kitchen", table & several chairs. There is a fitness center but no pool. I would have chosen this hotel if I had known about it, and I probably will when in Golden.”

• No Ice available at check-in. The ice maker lever was in up position. Desk clerk said that she could not help.

• You have a kitchen and their laundry room, cupboard area is wonderful.
• Maid service only by request, but it is really not a big thing.

“This was a wonderful stay for us. We were in Denver visiting our daughter. They have a Candlewood cupboard, and you go and buy what you need for breakfast. It was fast and easy. The rooms were really clean and neat, staff was very friendly.”

• Loved the kitchenette with fridge, stove, microwave. Clean too.
• Not super close to major freeway. It took about 20 mins. for the front desk lady to come help us.

“Nice and clean. Very family, kid friendly as it has a kitchenette in the room. Well lit parking area. They gave us a free soda for staying there. Has a laundromat inside the building. Workout, gym area as well. Good place to say.”
