“We wanted to lay out. At my request, reluctantly, called sister company and got us permission to use their outdoor pool. Sister property staff was awesome!”

• Safe location very nice facility.
• Pool - lots of hair floating in pool that was indoors and very cold - not heated.

• Very nice room with a super comfortable bed and other great features.

“This far exceeded our expectations with their friendly staff, super neat and clean facilities, big flat screen TV, mini refrigerator, super comfortable bed and a peaceful environment. All this in a high-traffic metro business area.”

• It was new and clean.
• Hotel is fairly new and in an out of the way location, and still working out the bugs with the staff.

“If I were to stay at this hotel again, It won't be anytime soon, due to location, it is out of the way and isolated from anything convenient such as, grocery stores, and gas stations. Although the rooms were clean, our rooms did not get serviced with new towels as well as our beds made until we requested it twice. Overall, this hotel is more like a 2 star hotel.”

• Large comfortable room.
• Breakfast ended at 10 am on Sunday.

“The rooms were very nice, probably 4 stars worthy. The halls and common areas were more like 3 stars. Nothing fancy, but very functional and clean. Everyone at the front desk was outstanding. The fitness center and pool were small, but I was still the only person using the fitness center on Sunday morning. I arrived for breakfast at 10:05 on Sunday morning, but they stopped serving at 10 am. Just a slight disappointment. Seemed to be in a very nice, safe area.”

• Clean room with a TV with working AV input jacks.
• Rude and angry front desk night clerk.

“Nice hotel that needs better management. The rude night-time front desk clerk yelled at guests, would not look at guests and never welcomed us or said thank you. The day-time desk personnel were charming, thoughtful and polite.The ice machine made only slush. The Coke machine sold hot drinks.The bed was hard and lumpy.”

• No free breakfast. Very warm in room at night and beds weren't comfortable.

“An average upscale hotel, it didn't offer anything more or less than I expected. I did not try any of the amenities or the restaurant, but it was adequate. The shower had great pressure and temperature control.”

• It was new and clean-beautiful landscaping and serene getaway patio with nature at your backdoor. I look forward to early morning to getaway there!
• Nothing- I liked everything!

“I have done quite a bit of traveling with my children this year and the staff at this hotel was by far the most friendly, helpful and courteous. They went above and beyond for me and my family.”

• Spacious lobby, helpful staff, comfortable bed, great location!
• Breakfast should have been included but was $14.

“All in all, this was a good place to stay. We were headed to the Gwinnett Arena for a concert & the hotel is in the same parking complex as the Arena so we could simply walk over. Excellent! The lobby was spacious and clean and the room was clean with a nice shower & comfortable bed. Desk staff was gracious, interested & helpful. Very attentive! Breakfast should have been included, but wasn't, otherwise a perfect stay!”

• In room microwave, fridge and TV had AV input jacks.
• They tried to stick us with a stinky smoking room. There were no king bed rooms left.

“Good location for Gwinnett Center events. In room features like microwave, fridge and AV input jacks on the TV are appreciated! Don't expect a late night cocktail at the lobby bar, they close super early.”

• The landscaping, value, and convenient location were excellent.
• Rude cleaning staff did not want to honor our late check out and harassed.

“Excellent price. Staff was great except rude cleaning staff. Food prices were good for a hotel. Landscaping, rooms, and service were excellent. Convenient location and soothing decor. Very pleasant stay.”

• Did not clean or make beds etc., the first night, although they moved us to a different room they did so very reluctantly. We were not happy.

“The night desk clerk was very surly, stated that we were not in his computer when we informed him that the maids had not been in our room. No beds made, no towels etc., reluctantly moved us to a different room.”

• It is a new hotel that has nice amenities and rooms.
• The swimming pool was way too cold to swim comfortably.

• I couldn't completely close the heavy blinds.

• The location fit our needs and the room was very clean.
• I didn't like the entrance into the parking lot. I would have preferred to be able to pull directly on to the road from the parking lot.

“This location is very convenient to shopping and you could walk to the Gwinnett arena. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant looked nice, but we did not eat there.”

• The location was perfect for my weekend plans. The hospitality and helpfulness in finding things to do was great.
• All was fine - if I had to say something: no breakfast as hospitality.

• Restaurant/lounge closes too early.

“Very nice, clean hotel. The TV has an AV input jack for cameras or DVD. Too bad, they refused to give me a room with 1 king bed (they were not full). The lounge was closed by 9 PM on Saturday night. Housekeeping replaced the used coffee packets with only decaf packets. Lots of noise from hallway late at night, both nights. Overall decent, but not 3 stars.”

• Great location, near Gwinnett Arena and Discover Mills. Loafing Leprechaun Irish Pub is next door.
• The in-room wireless internet did not work well.

“Great place, and better than I expected. We were on a romantic getaway, and we weren't disappointed. The Irish Pub next door had great food and atmosphere, and the lobby had a warm fireplace that we took advantage of when we wanted to be social.”

• Just a walk from Gwinnett Arena.
• Little confusing getting into the parking lot from Sugarloaf.

“My sister and I stayed there because we attended the George Strait concert at the arena. Check in went smoothly, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is just a walk away from the arena. I have tickets to see Keith Urban in April and intend to stay there again.”

• Location, location, location. It's was near the Mall & highway.
• The carpet was dirty and I had dirty towels and pillow cases also.

“This is a nice hotel but I would not want to spend more than one night there. They need to pay more attention to the rooms, you walk in the lobby and it is breathtaking but you go to your room and feel disappointed the time you walk in. The comforters were dirty the pillowcase had makeup on it front the previous guest. And the towels look as if a couple of them had been used and then folded back up and placed neatly in the bath room.”

“Pros: new carpet, room had fridge, microwave Cons: room not well insulated from hallway noise (needs better door w/insulation); bedding quality. Overall, low bedding quality compared to competition plus noise issues renders this property below a 3 star in my view.”
