• It was very quiet.
• The halls were hot and the desk clerk was not friendly.

“I would stay at the hotel again if I was needing a room just for one night. The hotel was quiet and spacious. The room although took really really long to cool. The halls where hot and humid, and the desk clerk always acted too busy.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, everything we needed such as laundry facilities and computers were available for our use.
• The only problem was with the remote for the T.V. not working. We did not ask for help with this since we did not think is was important to us.

“This is an excellent hotel for the business traveler and families needing a nice clean and safe place to stay at a reasonable price and are not concerned with luxury.”

• Chose it for its location with respect to where we needed to go.
• Not easily accessible.

“This hotel was conveniently located in relation to the places we needed to go in the Metroplex. It was comfortable and reasonably quiet. We did not partake of the complimentary breakfast due to time constraints.”

• Hard to find, needs bigger sign, room smelled smoke.

“It was o.k. for a 2 star, was rated at 2 1/2 which was a stretch, hard find off 635 and 75 needed bigger signage out front, wanted a non-smoking room but room smelled like stale smoke.”

“No iron, no towels, mold in shower, ant infested, all outside garbage cans overfilled and garbage on floor, one person on site to assist. Forget the continental breakfast with this kind of emphasis on cost!”

“This is the third time I have stayed at the Clarion. The hotel has wonderful parking facilities, the staff has always been courteous, it is very convenient. Most of all the rooms have always been spotless.”

• the elevator smelled like a natural gas leak. The layout of the hotel and the location of the room we got made a very unnecessary long walk.

“The hotel should not be included with a 3 star rating. The La Quinta down the street with a 2 1/2 star rating is of higher quality.”

• Very Clean, Great Lobby and Bar

“Woke up in the morning and didn't have any cold, that's right COLD, water. Shower was too hot to use. A quick call to the desk and a very nice maintenance guy was right up. 10 to 15 minutes later, we had both hot and cold water. Nevery thought I would be complaining about too much hot water. But, they responded quickly and fixed the problem.”

• I had 3 teenagers. Maid service failed to restock soaps and shampoo. One facecloth was provided.

“Once the road construction is complete I think it would be a great place to stay. Not enough plug outlets. Could use more plug ins. Had a tough time finding a plug to access just to iron. The plug in on the table had one operatable outlet. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean.”

“Very quiet room was comfortable and attention to detail was excellent. Location in Dallas is great, but road construction outside of Hotel made getting into and out of it a little difficult. In summary, the value was very good and this hotel would likely rate a higher star by AAA, etc.”

• Loved everything about the room, lobby was beautiful
• Did not get the fridge in the room we were promised and also why aren't the elevators air conditioned???

“Beautiful location, the construction made it hard to see the entrances. I don't know if the tall highway sign was down because of the interstate construction or they just don't have one, but the only sign that we saw was just in the parking lot (at car level). We missed the hotel the first time we drove by it, but when we realized where the turn in was the hotel was very nice.”

• Hallways dirty, hot. My assigned room smell mildew. It was a restless night, unable to sleep due to odor, I had to go to front desk for odor neutralizer.

“I had a better room on a 1-star hotel than Clarion Hotel that is supposedly rated 2.5-star. It was a disappointment.”

• staff was rude, hotel administration was greedy and manipulative.

“Hotel administration was tryin to rip us off. hotel wanted us to pay $10 extra to get room with two queen sized beds and were giving us a room with a king size bed otherwise. ”

“The hotel had easy access to a freeway. so it was convenient. At the same time it was in a busy corner (freeway intersection) and convenient stores and restaurants were on the oposite side. The rooms were clean and spacious. Housekeeping was either too early or late. They had good towels. I also liked their telephone automatic system for wake up calls. Very convenient and easy.”

• The staff was so helpful and friendly
• Almost all of the sodas in the vending machine were sold out

“This hotel met my expectations above and beyond. I was in Dallas to take my 7 mo. old daughter to a specialty hospital and arrived late night. The hotel staff helped me by making directions to the hospital and to help me find a place close to eat at 11:30 pm. They were quick with check in and out. There was always someone at the front desk.”

• Weak resturaunt, avoid breakfast buffet, not busy enough

“Very nice for a lower priced hotel. Tough to get to with construction until you figure it out. The resturaunt didn't see enough business to keep food quality up on breakfast buffet, very limited menu. Other dining not too far away. Noise level low, but hotel wasn't too busy. Nice staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Wish they had WiFi Hi-speed internet in the rooms, not just in lobby lounge.”

“The inside of the hotel was better than I had expected. Very nice lobby. I was disappointed that there wasn't some kind of free breakfast. But overall a nice place. The location was great if you are taking any kind of test at Prometric testing center. It just right down the road.”

• The staff seemed very rude at times.

“This hotel has very nice presentable rooms at a good location. There is a lot of construction around the area which makes it hard to get in the parking lot but the rooms are a nice size. The staff can be pretty rude at times. The bathtubs are really high and are easily to be a problem in an injury. Other than those things, I would recommend the hotel.”

• Hallways are dark and so was the bedspread

“This hotel surpassed my expectations for a 2+ star hotel. Very new and modern lobby, great bathroom in room, and the room was spacious and clean. However the bedspread was a little dingy. Overall a great experience.”

• It was conveniently located in North Dallas.
• Nearby road construction caused accessing highways to be quite difficult.

“The hotel used to be the Dallas Hilton Doubletree. Walls in the room were a little dirty, but the hotel itself had all of the class of the Doubletree.”

• The hotel staff noticed that I was staying with a small child. They sent up a microwave and a small refridgerator for our convenience. Very thoughtful.
• Outside signage was very small. Difficult to locate in the dark.

“While this hotel was certainly no pit, I wouldn't have rated it as having 3 stars. There was no heater in the bathroom, one of my lights was out during the entire stay, and it had modified cable - with no children's channels! However, it was clean, and seemed very safe. For the price I paid, I really couldn't ask for anything more.”

• 20 miles away from DFW airport

“Located in just south of Richardson area, approx. 20miles away from DFW airport.Very clean hotel with elaborated interior all over the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. 24-hour free wireless internet access was helpful. There is a workout room with 2 treadmills, bike, stairmaster, free weights. Workout room is available 6am-midnight, however, with your room key it was accesable 24-hours. Convenient access to Plano, Richardson, downtown Dallas, North Dallas area.”
