• Nice TV
• Internet service did not work (wireless, wired).

“As my 20 year old son stated, The hotel is only as valuable as it's commitment to providing realiable internet service to today's traveler. Very disappointing. Also, why don't 3 start hotels have powered vents in the bathrooms?”

• The rooms had a lot of amenities and were comfortable.
• The hotel was under construction. The lobby, pool, and gym were a wreck.

“The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. The check in/out process was fast. It would have been perfect if the lobby, pool, and gym weren't under construction. There was a lot of heavy machinery in the lobby, it was messy and seemed a little dangerous. I think it will be really nice when its' done.”

• The microwave, fridge and coffee set up is good.
• Colors of the room, too dark.

“When I got to my room, the TV wouldn't work, maintenance had to come and do something but still the remote was goofy, you had to push the buttons really hard for it to do anything. The bathroom door would not stay open, unless it was opened completely so that it was touching the front door and then if someone came in or out, the bathroom door was in the way. Then I went to dry my hair and the hair dryer wouldn't work, I tried all the buttons, finally plugged it in, in the room by the coffee pot and it worked. Finally when I was fixing my hair, I dropped my hand mirror on the bathroom floor and it broke! Of course not the hotels fault but it was one more thing that didn't make my experience that pleasant. When I left I didn't say anything to the hotel staff, I was ready to leave, the lobby is under construction and that was a little awkward.”

• The room was clean and in good shape.
• The lobby was being remodeled and was in horrible shape, bed was uncomfortable.

“This hotel is located on the north side of Colorado Springs near the Air Force Academy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The accommodations were very comfortable. I would definately stay there again.”

• Attractive, close to interstate, friendly staff
• Tub drain broken-slow to drain

“Located on the northern fringe of Colorado Springs but convenient to northern parts of the city due to close access to I-25. There was a really nice shopping area chock full of nice shops right across the street. Our shower drain was broken - you really had to fool with the drain lever on the tub repeatedly to get it to drain, after accumulating half a foot of water in the tub. $9.95 each for breakfast in the lobby in the morning - we did not partake.”

• They woke me up at 2 am and asked me to quiet down!

“I think the staff at the hotel is very rude! They called my room 3 time, hung-up twice and on the 3rd call, asked me to quiet down! I was in bed! It was 2 am!”

• The location. Many food options very near by.
• Room was not clean.

“When we checked into our room the room on the surface looked clean. But in the bathroom a used bar of soap and wet washcloth was in the shower. This kind of unnerved me about my stay here.”

• Pool was closed for a period of time, but was a maintenance problem. Got fixed.

• Double beds, comforter slid around and made it uncomfortable, freezing pool.

“This is a great hotel with a great location; just away from the busy Co Springs attractions but still close enough to be convenient. The pool was freezing but we don't go to Colorado to swim anyway.”

• Newer hotel.
• Bugs in bathroom similar to centipedes, squeaky bathroom door, faulty air conditioning.

“Beautiful, newer upscale hotel in great area. However, there was a bug problem in the bathroom these looked like centipedes and creped the kids out. Squeaky bathroom door and a faulty air conditioner which ran all night and froze us out. The hotel explained that we were one of the only rooms that night to have any air conditioning, lucky us. We all came home from our trip sick!”

• We really enjoyed the shopping area right across from the hotel.
• The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Mold in the bathroom.

“Although this hotel presents well with great views of the mountains and immediate access to food/shopping within walking distance. We were unhappy with the comfort of the beds/pillows and our bathroom had mold on the ceiling/wallpaper around the shower. For the price it was good.”

• The bed in hotel was so comfortable. It was like sleeping on a cloud.
• I thought the trash cans could have been a little bigger. I have a young child in pull-ups and they would not fit in the trash.

“Overall it was a great hotel to stay at. It was easy to get to. The staff was so friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. They had the latest movies to rent. All in all a great hotel. I would recommend it and stay again.”

• Even though we had a non-suite room, we had a microwave and refrigerator in our room.

• My room key did not work and had to be replaced several times. They even gave me up to three key at once to make sure I could get into the room

“The location of this hotel was great. It was right off the highway and convenient. My room key would not work. They initially gave me two keys and advised that some times the magnetic code does not work, thus the reason for the two keys. Every time I went to my room the keys would not work and I had to make several trips back to the front desk which was quite a distance from my room. Housekeeping also turned the heat down in my room and when I returned I could barely stay in the room. It was like an ice box. Everything in the room was ice. It had to be done on purpose because the outside temp was in the teens. I'm outraged by this whole ordeal.”

“The rooms far exceeded my expectations. The hotel was extremely clean and very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend Hilton Garden Inn to anyone needing accommodations in that area of Colorado Springs.”
