“We were very disappointed that on the second night of our stay we didn't have any towels. When we went to the desk they said that they would have more in the morning. That next morning, we again tried and were again denied towels. We finally used the tiny pool towels.”

“Some of our rooms only contained 1 towel with no wash cloths or hand towels. Ice buckets were not included in every room, some rooms had odors, only a few had refrigerators, some rooms did not have remote controls (with none available at the desk), some did not include coffee makers-on arrival, our room was found with some trash under the night stand.”

• Breakfast was good.
• NBC channel did not come in on TV and it was Olympic season!

“Check-in was fine. Room was ok except that there was only 1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth. Had to call for enough towels for two people! Delivered to room by only person on duty - the check-in clerk! (This was early evening, a prime time for people checking in). The TV system had a problem and the channel for the Olympic games was not available. When I turned down my bed preparing to retire I found a hole in my blanket approx. 6-8 inches in diameter! I called for a replacement (delivered by the check-in clerk) and proceeded to make my own bed. Next morning at 6:45 a fire alarm went off causing concern for all guests. Turned out to be a false alarm - but who needs this at 6:45 am? Needless to say our stay was a little less than wonderful.”

• Conditions of hotel have deteriorated severely since last stay.

“My wife and I travel together for business and we have stayed at this hotel many times in the past number of years and have found it to be very nice until this year. We learned it is under new management and ownership. Beds were not properly made each day and towels were limited. Furniture was in need of repair and room was unsanitary. We thought the condition could have been limited to our room only, but a traveling associate had similar issues with his room, which was on a different floor. We even left a day early to return home, in part because of the conditions.”

“The staff person at the front desk was excellent. I had a very late check-in and she was very helpful. The motel is older and in need of some repairs but in overall good shape. I just would not want to spend many nights there.”

• The breakfast was okay at best.
• Overall experience was very bad.

“Rooms were filthy and smelled terrible. Bugs, webs, carpet and chairs were filthy. Bathroom horrible. The guy working the desk was not very friendly but the girl did her best.”

• Cleanliness was poor. Old deteriorating conditions.

“I was glad that it was cheap. it was not clean and the conditions of everything from dirty furniture to dirty stained carpet, cracked porcelain sink and odor of stale cigarettes make it distasteful for us.”

• It needs a face life, quite worn out.

“We were looking for an inexpensive hotel for one over night so we could go to the Chicago Bears training camp. This hotel worked for the price. The beds were miserably uncomfortable. Things are pretty worn out looking at this hotel.”

• Lobby was beautiful, pool was warm.
• Room smelled, carpet wet, hornets nets by window, no screen.

“When we arrived we found that we had been upgraded to an executive suite with 1 bed. Since the room was smaller and there was no room for 3 rollaway beds we needed the 2 queen bed room. The only one they had left was a smoking room. I told her I would take it as I had no other choice. The room smelled extremely bad. It was hard to breathe. We opened the windows to get some fresh air in the room but there were no screens. As my husband was looking out the window she noticed a group of wasps. There was a nest under the window. He went to the front desk and was told that maintenance would come and take care of it. Now we had to close the window and kill the wasps that got inside. No one ever came to take care of the nest and we had to spend the night in a nasty smelling room.”

• The location, the premises were clean and very well kept. The staff was friendly and the unexpected surprise was a hot breakfast.
• The 1 and only flaw was not enough towels, blanket missing on one bed, which were given at front desk.

“I rented this room for my son and his family for a reunion. He was very pleased with the accommodations. Easy to get to, clean, friendly and good staff. Thank you so much. One of the best experiences that we have had. Thanks again.”

• The friendliness of staff.
• Mattresses too soft. Not enough towels.

“The room wasnt as comfortable as one may expect. The mattresses were way too soft and hanging off the box spring. There was not enough towels and the cabinet that held the fridge and microwave had a bunch of m&m's in it. The staff however was very accommodating.”

• Lots of kids in the pool.

“Stay was nice but the pool is small and full of children. Would like to have spent some time in the pool area but it was full of children screaming and making lots of noise. Hotel may consider opening the pool late hours for adult guest only like after 10pm no one under 21 or something along that line of thought.”

• Only 1 star/very hard bed/needs updating.

“This hotel is only 1 star. Bed was extremely hard, and the room needs updating. Breakfast was okay, although the greasy smell goes right into the rooms, we were on the 2nd floor, & it stunk. It is very convenient for restaurants/shopping.”

• The breakfast bar was very good.
• Wasn't give TP/ towels and parts of the bathroom ceiling fell down.

“The hotel was ok. The beds were uncomfortable. The room was cleaned one day before we showered, one day they didn't fill the toilet paper. The bathroom ceiling fell down one morning after our shower. The fan wasn't working. The house cleaning staff was friendly. The front desk people were not really helpful. I don't think I would recommend this hotel again.”

• The room smelled like smoke, it was unbearable.

“I thought we requested a nonsmoking room. The hotel clerk said that was only a request and that they didn't have any. We booked this hotel in the summer, so there should have been no problem.”

“Great central location, we had to pay extra for a room with two beds once we got to the hotel, parking was an extra $55 charge per night. No view, windows did not open, room was on the dirty side and very stuffy. Shower did not work properly. Staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful for general questions.”

• General appearance and previous experience were good.
• Noise from large group of teenage guests.

“Previous experience with this hotel had been very positive but this time a group of teenage guest were noisy for several nights with no effective intervention from management. Later in visit a guest was removed for soliciting. This person was a lot less disturbing to me that the teenagers screaming in the hallways. I just happen to see the removal of this guest. Why were the noisy teens allowed to stay three nights? I was there for a family visit and was tired instead of enjoying my family. I had prepaid and really could not afford to move to a different hotel.”

• The hallway noise was somewhat distracting, even in our room.

• The bed was very comfortable, linens nice and fresh, nice room and good experience.
• Everything was just fine.

“We enjoyed our stay at the Lee's Inn. The hotel looked as if it's been well taken care of. It was quiet and conducive to relaxing and sleeping. Pleasant stay and the breakfast were good too.”

• Clean, easy exit, right in front of the mall, 1 block from k-mart & Wall-Mart-super center.
• Asking for non-smoking room, but it was heavy smoke in the room.

• Build up of business around it, memories of first visit, couch or relaxing.
• Only one cup and one glass and we didn't discover until the morning.

“The last time we stayed there it was great, this time was not, and we are unlikely to want to stay there again.”

• Beautiful room, great price, great breakfast.
• Noisy one night.

“The hotel & lobby area were very nicely decorated with a beautiful breakfast area with fireplace. The guest room was nicer than expected with a sitting area with couch & coffee table in the room. There was a well equipped 24 hour fitness center as well as a very tempting pool area. The hot breakfast was nicer than expected with a great selection. Also a very friendly & courteous front desk staff. Overall a very nice experience. The only problem I found was that it was quite noisy in the hallways on the first night (sat), but the second night (sun) was much more peaceful.”

• Free internet never worked, support provider never returned calls, wet carpet in room, overcharged for additional night.

• The room was spacious and very comfortable.
• The TV did not have enough channels and the TVs did not have audio video jacks on them.

“In all this hotel was great and I would recommend it to others and I myself will return here.”
