• It did not measure up to the star rating. It gave the apperance of being unsafe.

“The beds were extremely hard. The appearance let you know this was an older motel. The set up made you feel less safe.”

• Everything did not feel safe.

“The desk clerk was rude. The outdoor lighting poor. We had to park in a dark back alley and drag our luggage up stairs no where near our room. The were people standing in open door ways watching as you went by. Did not feel safe at all.”

• Great free breakfast. Comfortable.
• Carpet needed to be replaced.

“Clean and comfortable. Good pool. Great free breakfast. This hotel allows pets and I normally wouldn't stay at a hotel that allows pets. However, this wasn't a problem during my stay.”

• This hotel had the best breakfast provide free with the stay we have ever had in any hotel.
• One room had a bit of a strange smell.

• The hotel was clean and the front desk was friendly. The pool area was very nice as well.
• The soap/fabric softener dispenser was empty, took my money, had issues getting someone to help me. Candy in machines was completely melted.

“Had a great time, room was nice and clean. It does need a new soap dispenser in the utility room, and what was advertised on the machine was not what was in the machine. Snack machines were very adequate with a large variety, but all the candy was melted! They will give you your money back with no problem.”

• Fairly close to the beach but one had to cross busy highway to get there.
• One had to cross a busy highway and go through Holiday Inn to get to the beach.

• The pool was great. Very clean, nice facility. Better than the Holiday Inn Resort across the street.
• Water pressure in the shower, but I'm sure that is at all hotels.

“We were very pleased with the location and the cleanliness of this hotel. We felt very safe. We were attending a wedding across the street at the Holiday Inn resort. Our rooms were much better, and allot cheaper. I don't think it's much for a "romantic" get away, but great for a family of 4 which is what we had. We had a refrigerator and microwave which we did not expect. Everyone was very pleasant. The hotel was in walking distance of several locations and we used the car rarely. I would definitely stay again. They were very accommodating.”

• The pool area was beautiful, pool was clean.
• Smelly rooms (cigarette/wet/moldy).

“We purchased 2 rooms, one for my husband and I and another for my sister and her family. We arrived to check in, before completing our check in process, the front desk person (just one working at 9pm) moved to the next party and completed their check in process before returning to us to complete our process. Once we arrived to our rooms, one smelled like stale smoke, the other like wet/mold. We asked for a room exchange on the room that smelled like mold which was quickly changed for us. The new room was next to three loud men who were drinking/arguing which made it difficult to get to sleep. The new room had a hard mattress with springs that could be felt. Pillows were placed on the mattress for comfort of sleep. My sister was convinced she had slept on a box spring instead of a mattress. In the end, I wish I had chosen a different hotel and regretted choosing this place. There are much nicer hotels across the street.”

• QUIET and peaceful. Did not hear the people above or next to us. Got on the 1st level as requested.

• Hotel had night club which was located right around the corner from our room.

“The location was very good but, the overall appearance with the sports bar right above the lobby and close to the pools was not very appealing. Also, trash was piled up right outside our room and picked up around 9:30a everyday.”

• Free wife, great breakfast (loved the waffles), close to a great park, enjoyed the astronaut connection
• The room had a faint musty odder

“We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, and the courtyard was very nice. We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, but I wished we could have.”
