- Clean.
- The location and when the braves play they turn a two way street in front of the hotel into a one way. if your not from at all, it took 2 hrs to find it.
“Hotel was ok. You can tell it has had some renovations, but needs some touch ups. Location was very bad unless you are going to the braves game no place to eat any where local. The rest in the hotel was ok not much to choose from. It took us for ever to find a place to eat. Then when we finally found the hotel they changed the road to a one way and it took 2 hrs to find out how to get on the one way. The police directing traffic was very rude like we lived in atl. not very traveler friendly experience with kids.”

“Overall, good hotel in excellent location for walking to games at turner field. The staff were super friendly, but the one thing I did not like was the separate parking fee. The room appeared clean other than a cheeto next to the bed.”

- It sits in a great location to attend events at Turner Field.
- The dining options are poor at best.
“This is a great place to stay and attend events at Turner Field. It is just across the street from the stadium. However, don't expect to come back to the hotel for dinner. All-in-all not a bad place, great location, and easy to get to.”

- The hotel is located close to Downtown. They have a free shuttle for hotel guests.
- I didn't enjoy the food from the restaurant in the hotel.
“The rooms were clean and the bed was super comfortable. If there was anything I needed, the hotel staff were very accommodating. It was really expensive to have a fridge and/or a microwave in your room (25$each). I also think this hotel should recommend that guests should not be picked up from the 5 points train station after dark. Peachtree station is much safer.”

- Noise level from adjoining rooms.
“Not within walking distance of downtown but next to Turner Field for sports fans. Driver is a big plus. Adjoining room noise is terrible. I could hear others talking plainly! The air conditioner needed recalling, we could see light from the outside around the top of the unit. Otherwise, the stay was fine.”

“First impression of the hotel is good. Marble walls and floor in the lobby, very impressive. The staff was very accommodating. Shuttle was every 1/2 hour where ever you wanted to go, within a 3 mile radius. Standard room but clean. We would stay there again if given the chance.”

- The pillows were nice.
- The bed was not very comfortable. My back was pretty sore when I woke up.
“This hotel was not the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, but it was acceptable. I wish it had been closer to other things to do. It's perfect for Braves fans who have traveled to Atlanta to watch a ballgame, because it is right next to Turner field. You could walk to a baseball game, but, nothing else.”

- The staff was very helpful and friendly.
- The room looked out over the highway and the bar was under stocked and did not smell good.
“The hotel was very conveniently located near Highway 20. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice, though I ended up with a smoking room and I am not sure how that happened, so the smell was kind of bothersome. The breakfast buffet was delicious, though a bit pricey. The bar was all right, though they ran out of a lot of things while I was in there for an hour. The front desk staff was fabulous and helpful and the shuttle was great! Overall, a good experience.”

- The hotel lobby decor was very nice. The hotel had plenty of secured parking for patrons.
- The ceiling of my room had brown/tan water stains on it and the bathroom sink pipe made crackling noise w/every use.
“For one night stay, this hotel is ok. Upside - Lobby's decor was nice, staff was accommodating and friendly. Plenty of secured parking, that is shared with Enterprise Car Rental, and not far from Downtown. My hotel room was clean, had a nice view. Downside - The ceiling had stains, my bathroom sink pipes made loud crackling noises with each use and the surrounding neighborhood was very suspect.”

- Didn't. Staff was rude. Restaurant never provided service without having to track down a hostess or waitress. Worst experience I have had.
- Had to pay for parking and then the hotel did not assume responsibility for the security of our vehicle.
“Terrible. I asked for a 3 star hotel and receive what could be call a 1.5. The only reason I gave it a 2 star rating is because you did not have 1.5 star rating to choose from.”

- Though it was cold, the parking guy outside was quite friendly which lead to a continued friendly experience throughout our stay.
- As I checked out at the front desk, the friendliness ended a bit; agent preoccupied and felt like "oh well she's checking out anyway".
“Overall, the experience was great and more than anticipated. I lived in Atlanta 20 years ago and that hotel existed and wasn't sure what to expect. I would stay there again and have spoke highly of our experience there already to friends and family.”

- Pool was unattractive and service at restaurant was very slow.
“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel but found that they had a difficult time meeting everyone's need when they are booked full (i.e. they ran out of wine at the restaurant). However wherever they fell short they were worked very hard to make up for it. The location of the hotel is close to highways but farther from the Downtown area than I expected.”

- The hotel lobby was attractive and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
- No indoor pool. Hotel was only in walking distance to Turner Field and the shuttle wasn't reliable. Uncomfortable mattresses.

- Hotel has a free shuttle.
- Did not make customers aware that the shuttle was shut down for the weekend due to basketball tournament.
“Pretty nice place. The staff was friendly. The free shuttle would have been very nice had it been in operation to our destination. The hotel did not provide transportation to the Georgia Dome. The shuttle is one reason I was ok with staying 2 miles away from the Dome. We were not informed until we arrived at the hotel that it would not be in operation to the Dome drop off location. Furthermore, parking prices were increased from $12.00 to $15.00. It seems that we would be entitled to a price break on parking, not an increase, due to the shuttle not being in operation. However, if you just wanted to stay in Atlanta with above average accommodations and free transportation to major Downtown attractions on a normal weekend, this is not a bad place at all.”

- The hotel shuttle to within a 3 mile area was extremely convenient. The shuttle provided easy access to Downtown and to the Georgia State Marta stop.
- No restaurants within walking distance.
“Hotel was clean. All public areas and rooms were nicely furnished. The restaurant, bar, shuttle service and fitness room were all great extras. Be prepared to pay $15 a night for parking. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly.”

- Loud occupants from 4 am to 6 am- we couldn't sleep that night!
“Don't know how you can keep from having loud guests, but I did report the problem to the manager. He apologized, but that didn't give us back the lost sleep. Otherwise, the staff was accommodating, particularly the shuttle service staff.”

“The hotel was excellent for our purposes and at a very fair price. Lack of restaurants was a problem but more than made up for by the fact that the path of first-on-record tornado to hit downtown Atlanta missed the Holiday Inn by half a mile! Many luxury downtown hotels were hit quite badly - windows blown out, etc.”

- The location was great! The view was spectacular.
- We were not aware of the extra price for parking. We did not think we had to since we were guests.
“We loved this hotel. Our room had a great view. The employees were also very friendly and helpful. It was a very clean and quiet hotel for the amount of people staying there. The breakfast and lunch buffet was a little expensive, so we decided to eat at other places. Overall we were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. And on our return trips to Atlanta will be choosing this hotel for our stay.”

- Every staff member from front desk to room service was courteous and helpful.
- Aged facility certainly not worth even the 100.00.
“I was very disappointed in this property. Not only was the facility grungy and dated but the amenities were sub par-no coffee in room, outdoor pool only, certainly not worth the money or the Holiday Inn name. However the staff was absolutely wonderful-very friendly and helpful.”

- Nice and safe hotel very clean and wonderful staff.
- Nothing.
“Of course they couldn't do that, and Im happy they didn't. The hotel was located just outside the hustle of the city, adjacent to turner field. It was so pretty to look out. We loved being able to drive around, then come to the hotel and feel the relaxing atmosphere. The parking was great. We felt so safe. The staff was wonderful. Nice and helpful. The room was clean and fresh. We stayed in a four star deluxe upscale hotel the last time we stayed in Atlanta, and this was cleaner and nicer than that was. We loved it. Great hotel!”

- Nice clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed.
- Distance to Downtown, too far to walk.

- Very affordable!
- Wasn't within walking distance to the convention we were attending, not fault of the hotel, but event organizers (they told us it was 5 m away).
“Great, clean rooms, helpful staff, comfortable lobby and convenient location to airport and Downtown for a fraction of the Downtown hotels and close to the Olympic Torch!”

- Clean and has a great view.
- Conference oriented.
“The facilities were nice and the view was wonderful, however the information provided by the hotel in the rooms was deputed by the hotel staff (it was written in the welcome booklet theat infant cribs were available free of charge and front desk staff stated that cribs were an extra $25 dollars even while looking at the booklet.”

- The restaurant was horrible.
“CON-The restaurant was horrible for breakfast and dinner. At dinner the wait staff was inattentive and unknowledgeable of the menu. The kitchen was lacking food and could not produce several things on the menu. During our 3 hour dinner I rec'd an unfinished dish of just spinach. During breakfast, most of the wait staff is unfriendly and inattentive. The breakfast buffet lacks luster. CON-The computer systems were down during checkout and I asked for a copy of receipt to be faxed to me later. It took more effort from me to fulfill my request of a receipt later at home. CON-2 of the 4 days during my stay, The housekeeping staff did not provide us with towels, soap, or shampoo. The hotel was not in Downtown area like it states, however, I hear the shuttle does take you into Downtown.”

- Hotel was ok for a 1-2 star.
- This hotel was equivalent to a regular motel on the side of the road.
“The quality of a 3-star hotel should be a little more upscale than this one. I stayed in the Hilton Suites and it was much farther better than this one. Wouldn't recommend the Holiday Inn if you want more comfort. The mattresses were hard; the food was bland and tasted old.”
