  • The shuttle was wonderful! We were in town for the football game and that was a very nice feature!
  • The gift shop was way over priced. Didn't realize that there was a drink machine on the 2nd floor where the same drink was considerably cheaper.

  • TV was limited to very few channels, could not access fox news.

  • That there was no indoor swimming pool or more leisure time equipment, such as racket ball courts or a gym.

  • Their shuttle service to the downtown area and the friendliness of the staff.
  • They told us they would fix our toilet seat, but didn't and the shuttle drivers couldn't pick us up at times, so we had to get a taxi.

“The food in the restaurant wasn't very good, they ran out of items and the price was too high. The sheets on one of our beds had stains and they never changed then in the 10 days we were there. The bathtub looked dirty - it had been touched up and it was obvious. The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet and it kept moving around. Overall, it looked nice, but when you looked closely, it needs work. The people were nice and the shuttles and buses for the Gift Show were very helpful, though we were still forced to take a taxi on occasion.”

  • Poor service in restaurant and awful bathroom in room.

“The desk staff was friendly and helpful but the restaurant was a different story. At breakfast the waiter brought me yesterday's newspaper. At lunch there were only 2 other tables of guests and yet my sandwich took 30+ minutes. It was wrong when it arrived. The room was ok, but the bathroom was not - cracked, loose floor tiles, small sink, no counter space.”

  • My non-smoking room reeked of old cigarette smoke.

“The public rooms were attractive. The front desk was backed up with limited help and computer problems at check in time. The room reeked of old cigarette smoke. By the next morning my nose was clogged up from breathing in the smoke residue as I am allergic to cigarette smoke. I would hesitate to stay here again even though the convenience of being within walking distance to Turner Field was nice. I also cannot fathom charging an overnight guest more to park their vehicle than a Braves fan spending no money in my hotel.”

“Constantly had guests roaming the halls at all hours and were very loud! Complained to hotel staff several times without effect. One morning a guest was laying on the floor in the hallway directly in front of my door @ 7am yelling to her 4 kids to run to the other end of the hall! Very disgusted at the whole trip. Oh and 15.00 a day to park at a hotel that I am paying way too much for was the icing on the cake! Very unhappy!”

  • Great comforts for great price, great location if using free shuttle/Marta bus.

“The great comfort at a great price. The 4-star-like rooms with superb cleanliness and no mars or any such 2-star-like problems. Bathrooms have granite tops and wonderful huge rainforest - style shower heads with recent refurbishing. The 2 hotel restaurants are convenient and fine establishments in their own rights. A large conference center in the building hosts all sorts of events, keeping the hotel busy. The location is just 2 walking blocks north of Turner Field, making it the best hotel for a Braves game. The Cyclorama and Zoo are just a 3 minute's shuttle ride away. The location seems out-of-the-way but is just. 8 minutes walk south down the spacious, safe Capitol Ave past the grand state capitol building from the GA State MARTA station's west/Piedmont Ave entrance. The hotel's free shuttle's 2 primary drivers are especially bright and cheerful staff, actually making one want to use the shuttle instead of anything else. A wonderful experience I'll repeat a 3rd time next time I visit ATL.”

“I really loved the location and the restaurants and cleanliness of the hotel was great! The comfort of the room was wonderful. The amenities were good but you do have to pay extra for parking and there is not continental breakfast. The staff was a little unenthusiastic to answer questions but overall we really liked the convenience of the location.”

  • Van service for hotel guests and closeness to public transportation.
  • Having to pay for the use of a refrigerator (Courtyard by Marriott offered this service free).

“Public transportation plus the van service offered by the hotel makes this an excellent location for leisure travelers who want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the downtown region. Major attractions can be reached within five to ten minutes. Although I arrived early, I was able to get a room two hours prior to check in.”

  • Parking attendant was efficient at handling lots of cars! The room had clean sheets and towels, the AC worked and it was truly a no-smoking room.
  • The hotel staff couldn't have been any less friendly or helpful, except for the parking attendant and a dining room waitress.

“We walked to Turner Field, which was our reason for selecting this hotel. The room and bath were clean, but showed evidence of wear and tear. The public areas smelled bad, and almost all the staff was so unfriendly, we did not feel welcome. They clearly could not handle the high volume of guests the game brought in. Next time, we will stay anywhere else - even if it means cab fare to Turner Field.”

  • Worst hotel ever. The room smelled. It was dirty. Tear the building down and start over. And I never complain! But this hotel needs to end.

“This hotel was a nightmare. I was ashamed to bring my wife and son into that room and have them spend one night there. As good as my witness, it was the worst hotel I've ever seen and I'm a former sales manager with Marriott. Nasty hotel. The sheets were sticky and the room smelled like a football locker room.”

  • How small the gift shop was. No room to move around.

“We went to Atlanta for a Braves game and the hotel made it so nice. It is just like a block from Turner Field. Our room had a view of Turner Field. This was my 1st time to stay in Atlanta and I would love to go back. The room was nice. It was clean. I would have to say the only bad part with the room was the TV was about to go out you could tell. This hotel has a Bar and a Restaurant. We stopped in the restaurant before we went to the baseball game it was nice, clean, food was good. The only bad part was Not a lot to pick from to eat. I would say the only thing I did not like with my stay was that you have to pay $15 to park at the hotel.”

“Located within a half mile of Turner Field, this hotel was ideal for our plans to catch a weekend Braves game. Although the hotel shuttle delivered and picked up at several of the Atlanta points of interest (Underground, World of Coke, Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park, etc.), the location was within walking distance of these sites. All in all, it was a great weekend.”

  • The location and when the braves play they turn a two way street in front of the hotel into a one way. if your not from at all, it took 2 hrs to find it.

“Hotel was ok. You can tell it has had some renovations, but needs some touch ups. Location was very bad unless you are going to the braves game no place to eat any where local. The rest in the hotel was ok not much to choose from. It took us for ever to find a place to eat. Then when we finally found the hotel they changed the road to a one way and it took 2 hrs to find out how to get on the one way. The police directing traffic was very rude like we lived in atl. not very traveler friendly experience with kids.”

  • The hotel is located close to Downtown. They have a free shuttle for hotel guests.
  • I didn't enjoy the food from the restaurant in the hotel.

“The rooms were clean and the bed was super comfortable. If there was anything I needed, the hotel staff were very accommodating. It was really expensive to have a fridge and/or a microwave in your room (25$each). I also think this hotel should recommend that guests should not be picked up from the 5 points train station after dark. Peachtree station is much safer.”

  • Noise level from adjoining rooms.

“Not within walking distance of downtown but next to Turner Field for sports fans. Driver is a big plus. Adjoining room noise is terrible. I could hear others talking plainly! The air conditioner needed recalling, we could see light from the outside around the top of the unit. Otherwise, the stay was fine.”

“First impression of the hotel is good. Marble walls and floor in the lobby, very impressive. The staff was very accommodating. Shuttle was every 1/2 hour where ever you wanted to go, within a 3 mile radius. Standard room but clean. We would stay there again if given the chance.”

  • The pillows were nice.
  • The bed was not very comfortable. My back was pretty sore when I woke up.

“This hotel was not the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, but it was acceptable. I wish it had been closer to other things to do. It's perfect for Braves fans who have traveled to Atlanta to watch a ballgame, because it is right next to Turner field. You could walk to a baseball game, but, nothing else.”

  • The room looked out over the highway and the bar was under stocked and did not smell good.

“The hotel was very conveniently located near Highway 20. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice, though I ended up with a smoking room and I am not sure how that happened, so the smell was kind of bothersome. The breakfast buffet was delicious, though a bit pricey. The bar was all right, though they ran out of a lot of things while I was in there for an hour. The front desk staff was fabulous and helpful and the shuttle was great! Overall, a good experience.”

  • The hotel lobby decor was very nice. The hotel had plenty of secured parking for patrons.
  • The ceiling of my room had brown/tan water stains on it and the bathroom sink pipe made crackling noise w/every use.

“For one night stay, this hotel is ok. Upside - Lobby's decor was nice, staff was accommodating and friendly. Plenty of secured parking, that is shared with Enterprise Car Rental, and not far from Downtown. My hotel room was clean, had a nice view. Downside - The ceiling had stains, my bathroom sink pipes made loud crackling noises with each use and the surrounding neighborhood was very suspect.”

  • Didn't. Staff was rude. Restaurant never provided service without having to track down a hostess or waitress. Worst experience I have had.
  • Had to pay for parking and then the hotel did not assume responsibility for the security of our vehicle.

“Terrible. I asked for a 3 star hotel and receive what could be call a 1.5. The only reason I gave it a 2 star rating is because you did not have 1.5 star rating to choose from.”

  • Though it was cold, the parking guy outside was quite friendly which lead to a continued friendly experience throughout our stay.
  • As I checked out at the front desk, the friendliness ended a bit; agent preoccupied and felt like "oh well she's checking out anyway".

  • Inviting lobby and friendly staff.
  • Pool was unattractive and service at restaurant was very slow.

“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel but found that they had a difficult time meeting everyone's need when they are booked full (i.e. they ran out of wine at the restaurant). However wherever they fell short they were worked very hard to make up for it. The location of the hotel is close to highways but farther from the Downtown area than I expected.”
