• They were able to direct me to two nearby catholic churches.
• The sleep sofa was not comfortable.

“It was a nice hotel with friendly staff and a VERY comfortable bed. The sleep sofa was not comfortable. It was also convenient to the MARTA train.”

• Helpful, friendly staff, clean, family friendly, restaurant on site, indoor-outdoor pool, exercise room, secure parking.
• Not informed of daily parking fees, stairwells trashy and dirty, unsightly, pop machines not working on different floors.

“Pleasantly surprised, I thought it should be higher star labeled, at least a 3 or 3.5. Not happy about having to pay 18.00 daily fee for parking. Nicely furnished, clean. Attentive, friendly staff. Restaurants nearby, close to highway, attractions nearby and easy to get to. Will definitely recommend this Marriott to others and stay here again in the future.”

• Very nice room-roomy, king bed-comfortable, pocket doors bathroom between shower, tub & sink and between sink & bed.
• Drain in shower defective. Parking expensive-$18/daily.

“Our room was very nice and roomy, clean. Parking garage was under hotel-convenient via elevator. Staff was friendly. We didn't eat there or partake of public spaces. Very pleased.”

• No obvious stairway access to lobby; pool and fitness center small.

“Overall a great place to stay for price - very close to Piedmont Park, Marta station, Starbucks, and to numerous Midtown restaurants and bars. Pool is underwhelming, as is fitness center. But rooms are nice, lobby superb, and location is great for visiting city.”

“The hotel was nice, but lacked some of the common elements that even smaller scale hotels are offering. The lobby was a little crowded with no separation between dining room, foyer, and guest area.”

• Very spacious rooms.
• Rooms are slightly outdated.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the midtown or downtown area. While it costs $16/day to park, I think it's a small price to pay considering other hotels prices in the downtown area. You can also take the elevator right down to your car rather than taking a hike outside.”

• Parking and internet charges were outrageous for the area.

“I would not bid for 3 star in midtown again in fear of getting this hotel. the hotel while it is nice, the extra charges for internet and parking were extremely high for this local area.”

• Construction on the highway nearby.

• The suite offered a much larger space than a normal hotel room.
• On site parking was somewhat inconvenient.

“The room was very spacious; the staff was friendly and helpful and the location is convenient to downtown and midtown Atlanta. On site parking is a bit of a hassle, but it is on site parking.”

• Big soft fluffy beds, had reservation ready.
• Valet service was a little slow.

“I was only there for about 10 hours. Loved the bed. I was asleep within 5 minutes of crawling in. Nice room, wet bar and big tub plus shower. Full suite with separate living area. Enjoyed my stay!”

• Good location for our event or basically anything because it was fairly close to public transit. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.
• The furniture in the sitting room was dirty (soiled) and the front desk clerk was not friendly. The pool water looked green.

“Overall, I was pleased because the bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable and good location. I liked the suites with the sitting area also instead of just beds.”

• Parking prices; to pay for parking when you have paid hotel is an outrage, hotel parking need to free for guest.

“This hotel was over the top, location super, clean to the T! But, the parking was too much, why should guest pay for parking when we have already spent almost so much in hotel stay!”

• Quiet rooms, spacious and clean with working air conditioning and refrigerator.
• A small micro wave at sink would be helpful. The parking area was not well marked and was too narrow. Also parking costs too much.

• Homeless people could be viewed from our balcony. But very sad.

“The Hotel was clean and staff was very pleasant. Traffic was a hassle, but it was in heart of Atlanta. Has several coffee shops near by which was a wonderful escape from the family. I would stay hear again.”

• The guest services staff was eager to help me find restaurants and entertainment in the area. Very helpful!
• No guide to daily television programming (special "guide channel" or even HBO movie schedule).

“I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, greeting me each time they saw me, opening doors, and going out of their way to help me acquaint myself with the city and its attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and provided all necessary amenities in a pleasing, attractive layout. (I especially liked the French doors leading to the bedroom.) Not as close to the Georgia World Congress Center as I would have liked, but very close to a Marta station, so still fairly convenient.”

• Front desk staff was wonderful and helpful.
• The room was not cleaned between days we stayed. No clean towels provided.

“The overall experience was great. When we arrived there was a dirty floor mat in the bathroom and open shampoo in the shower. The cleaning staff did not clean the room between days we stayed with and no clean towels provided etc. We got in late and did not want to deal with it.”

• Experience was fantastic.
• Either in the past or somewhere on the floor there were smoking rooms or the room/hallway could have smelled fresher.

“The hotel was excellent, spacious, extremely clean, conveniently located. Although parking is expensive, it might be worth the extra 2 dollars a day for valet parking to reduce stress. Great star bucks and Einstein bagels right outside the front door. Marta station 2 blocks away and very close to high museum of art, woodruff arts center. Great location in midtown.”

“This is a very nice hotel with great views of the Atlanta skyline. The room was quiet, spacious and clean; in addition, nice pool and workout facilities. There are several great places to eat within walking distance and that's probably what we enjoyed most. We'll stay here again, hopefully soon.”

• Nice hotel in a good location with easy access to Atlanta sites and interstates.
• Found a clipped to email on room carpet; extremely loud icemakers.

“Midtown is the only place I stay in Atlanta, due to the restaurants/bars in the area and the easy access to both interstates and Atlanta sites (and, it at least seems to be much safer than Downtown). I would recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in Atlanta.”

“The staff was very customer oriented and went above and beyond what I expected. The desk (I think manager) helped me find band aides after I could not find them and told me not to worry about paying for them. Would recommend them to everyone.”

• I left two dresses in closet, returned two days later- they claimed to not have them.

“I had a lovely experience here, but was disappointed that housekeeping stole two dresses I had left in the closet. I returned two days after departure to claim them and they were not there. The staff claimed they hadn't been left there, but they certainly were.”

• The room was great and very spacious. Plenty of room and televisions.
• The price of parking was extremely high. $18 for valet, $16 for self.

“The hotel was great, although the high price of parking added to the overall hotel cost. My experience was pleasant with the staff and it was in a great location for people that want to be able to get to a lot of "to do" things quickly. Room was cozy and had televisions in the bedroom as well as the main room. Bedroom and restroom was totally separated from the main room which was a plus as well. I would recommend it to anyone.”

• Staff friendly, and great restaurant! Rooms/suite very cute.
• Very low water pressure from shower head. Being awoken by washing machine equipment.

“There was only one person at the check-in desk. We waited over ten minutes before getting served. Employee was friendly, but definitely needed to ask for more assistance up front. Be prepared to pay $16 a day parking for using their garage. $18, if you want Valet. The shower had very little pressure. Be prepared to take a longer than usual shower. We were given a room directly next to a facility staff room and were awaken promptly at 08:30am from their squeaking machines pouncing on the wall. Room service was great! Restaurant dining was fabulous!”

• Smelly towels, poor remotes, expensive calls and internet.

“The hotel had a somewhat depressing feel to it. The doors are locked early and make it inconvenient for guests to visit. Towels smelled like sulfur and were not consistent with a hotel of this type. I found the staff bordering on rude or just not caring about their jobs. The parking card to get in garage did not function correctly and has scrapped up many vehicles. I highly doubt I would ever stay at this hotel again.”

• I was upgraded to a suite which was very nice.
• Internet was not free in the business center.

“Room was great. Very frustrated that I had to pay for internet service b/c this is a basic amenity at other hotels. Staff members were very friendly but the restaurant staff was extremely inattentive.”

“Central location, right next to the four seasons. Starbucks and a bagel restaurant right next door. Bank/tam right across the street (tam in hotel was out of $) taxi service quickly available with several cabs stationed right outside the hotel. Pool and hot tub were nice. Workout room is excellent and high-tech.”

• It was located close to the concert we attended so we walked. Walked to dinner also. Location excellent.
• My on complaint would be that the ice machine on our floor and the floor below us was empty/or not working.

“We truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay there again. The room was very clean & laid out well. The location was excellent. We could walk to the concert we attended & to dinner.”

• Need more TV channels. The hairdryer was a little weak. Hotel staff was rude when our key cards didn't work.

“This hotel is quiet, clean and in a great location. The suites are tiny, but certainly adequate for 2 people. This hotel lacks character, but otherwise is fine. The hotel lobby is very small, and the hotel's only restaurant is in the lobby itself (no borders).”
