• Good location, staff was very helpful and friendly, bed was very comfortable.
• Self parking garage had 6'3" height restriction, so I had to valet park adding $20 plus tips to bill. But the valets were very nice.

“The first room that we were assigned had a heavy mildew odor when we opened the door. It was no problem for the front desk to assign us a new room and that one smelled much better. (Speaking of smells, the Palm Restaurant is in the lobby and I think that's the reason that the hallways smell smoky. The staff at the hotel was excellent and super friendly.) The bed was pretty comfy and the HD TV had a awesome picture. There is Starbucks coffee in the room and the gift shop stays open late, if you need a snack. Overall, it was a very nice hotel and we would probably stay there again, if it wasn't for the problem with fitting the car into the parking garage.”

• Front desk staff was excellent.
• One room stunk of cigarette smoke.

“I was very pleased with hotel and staff overall. We rented 4 rooms they were able to accommodate us on same floor. One room smelled of cigarettes. They did not have another room available on the same floor. That was inconvenient especially after traveling all day. However, the Palm restaurant was fantastic. The hotel was very clean and you cannot beat the location. Again, overall I would stay there again.”

• Convenient location.
• Air conditioning worked poorly. Bedding came off mattress.

“It was a utilitarian hotel. Decor is similar to that of a modern office. Boring. Our bedding pulled off every time we rested. Pool was in the health club and was not good for leisure or relaxation. No robes in the room. Air conditioning didn't work well - room was stuffy.”

“This is not a 4 star hotel. It is very tired. I have used priceline before for the same city and area and have had great hotels. The Westin was a big disappointment.”

• Pool and gym were first class.
• Bathroom lighting was too dim for women's needs for make-up.

“Everything was to quality. Gym and pool were great. Location and parking very convenient. Only criticism is the inadequate bathroom lighting for using the mirror.”

• Easy in and out access to the parking garage and great location to the Lenox Mall and restaurants.

• The staff was nice.
• The rooms were outdated and dirty. The pool had no hot tub.

“I was very disappointed in this hotel. The Westin was in a great location, but that is where the good things end. The room was very out dated. They put a flat screen in the room and that was all. It was not even hung up on the wall. The bed was all stained and old, the hotel is supposed to be known for their awesome beds, but I did not see any of that. I would not go back to the hotel or recommend it to anyone. And the palm restaurant was horrible for breakfast. It was over priced and the food was not good at all.”

• Location.

“Here were the issues: 1) Bathtub had hair in it on arrival. 2) Luggage was not delivered. 3)Courtesy shuttle was not available nor were hotel-arranged alternatives. 4) Mini-bar charged bill for items picked-up but not purchased requiring a conversation with front desk. 5) Garage parking fee of $28 daily not mentioned until final bill was delivered. 6) Staff did try to satisfy us in spite of problems.”

• Location.
• Walls were extremely thin; could hear neighbor breathe.

“Good location, but bad staff service. I had made a request the day prior to check in that the staff said they'd note on the computer, and when I checked in, nothing was noted and the staff acted as if I had never called. Also the rooms walls were paper thing; I felt like I was sharing my romantic weekend with my neighbors - I could hear every word of their conversation too. Not good.”

• It was difficult to find the entrance.

“Very modern hotel with great walking options to shopping and eating. Hotel was inviting and the room was quiet and comfortable. The fitness center and pool were fantastic.”

• Ease of moving within the hotel. Good parking. Good elevators.
• Cost of parking on top of hotel stay.

“Overall good experience. I assumed for the money the rooms would be more luxurious than they were. They were still clean and nice and I'd recommend to others.”

• The Beds.
• No Drink Machines in the hotel and $3 for a 12oz can of soda in the automatic refreshment center.

“Hotel was great and the staff was wonderful. The rooms were nice and clean and comfortable. An improvement I would make would be to upgrade the rooms with DVD players. There are 2 dislikes about the place and that would be drink machines in the hotel even though the rooms are equipped with an automated refreshment center. That being said in the refrigerator it cost $3 for a 12oz can of soda. My finance and I purposely went to the Mall across the street and got 20oz's for $1.25.”

• Location is wonderful. Also, very upscale and classy.
• Self parking security.

“We had $600 worth of electronics stolen from our car in the self parking garage. I would highly recommend to have your car valet parked where the security is better. Otherwise the hotel was just perfect. The location is the best in terms of an easy walk to shopping and restaurants. The hotel is upscale and classy.”

• Front desk staff very friendly.
• The restaurant bartenders were somewhat rude, and the hotel charges for internet access.

“A great location across from Lenox mall and a short trip to Phipps Plaza, this was an ideal location as my sole purpose of the trip was for shopping. Check in prompt, easy, and handled with professionalism. Room was very comfortable with a great view of Buckhead and Downtown in the distance. I will likely stay here on my next trip!”

• Extremely comfortable beds. Double headed shower felt wonderful.
• Coffee maker in room was broken. Coffee at the Palms restaurant was $4.00 per cup.

“Very convenient to the Lenox Mall and a short distance to downtown. However, Atlanta traffic is horrible so plan on EXTRA time when driving downtown.”

• Everyone was friendly and tried to accomodate special requests

“The location is good. It is across the street from the Mall. The restaurant was wonderful. Each entree could easily be shared with another person and the staff encouraged such a request. The hotel was within walking distance of many well known restaurants.”

• The location was absolutely wonderful. We were within 2-15 minutes away from everything we wanted to participate in.
• Nobody knew where the free parking was. We had family to stop by.

“This hotel was absolutely wonderful, and I hope I can stay there again very soon. The beds are just what they call them Heavenly". The service was magnificent. The gym was well-equipped. Everytime I needed my car from the valet it was ready. I am already planning my next trip, and I am hoping that this hotel is where I end up."”

• Nothing to report - stay was wonderful.

• The bed was VERY comfortable with excellent bed linens. The window treatments blocked out the daylight very well allowing for sleeping late.
• The traffic in that area is quite heavy; not a problem with the hotel, just a fact of life in that part of Atlanta.

“Clean facility; very helpful and courteous staff; prompt service. The parking charge was a bit high ($20.00), but that is a relatively minor issue as far as I am concerned.”
