• Very clean and neat - easy to get around.
• It was set back aways and we couldn't find it at first because we turned the wrong way.

• The shuttle service, the bar, the floorplan/arrangement of furniture in room.
• Location-I had no car and no restaurants were nearby/walkable. Smelled a bit musty.

“This hotel is functional...it does the job. It had a nice bar and the restaurant seemed decent although I did not eat there. Others next to me ate and seemed to enjoy their meal. It served my purpose - a one night stay at a hotel near the airport. I appreciated the shuttle service to the Mall of America and the airport.”

• Location was mostly convenient for the places we were visiting.
• No continental breakfast, maid service was bad.

“Hotel was ok - not very family friendly with no continental breakfast, no microwaves, no fridges. Housekeeping staff did not speak English, so was difficult to request extra towels, coffee, glasses. Housekeeping did not make up room after first night - I suspect that the housekeeper placed the

sign on the door so she didn't have to make up room.”

• Good parking.
• Unsanitary, unsafe & uncomfortable.

“I was not impressed with this hotel & I do not recommend staying there. Small rooms, flat pillows, blankets warn out & the beds are uncomfortable. The lobby, lounge & public restrooms were the only clean areas of the hotel. Extension cords coming out of the roof vents to the air conditioning units, big fire hazard!”

“Hotel was fairly nice. I don't think it deserves as high of a star rating as it has. Our room was nice and we had free internet which is always a plus. The climate control was difficult, it was hard to get it at a satisfactory temperature. Fairly easy to find, but it is a ways off the interstate.”

• I wish all the rooms had refrigerators and microwaves.

• My favorite part of the hotel was the lights on the outside of the building.
• There were about 45 cars in back and 25 in front using prime parking locations that were snow covered for 4 days.

“This was a nice hotel. The lady at the front desk was kind and helpful. This hotel offers free shuttle to the airport and Mall of America (which I never used but thought it was nice for those who would use it).”

• The layout of the room was great.
• Outdated guest rooms, hotel staff.

“The guest rooms are very outdated; our television had a manufactured date of June 2001. The bathtub stopper also did not seal very well around the drain so water kept draining out. The layout of the room was unique and the room felt very spacious. The bed was comfortable but we were only given three pillows for a king size bed and the hotel did not have more to give us.”

“This Hotel was dirty, the elevator was off. The parking was terrible. There was trailer in the lot take up five spaces and there were over ten cars taking up two or more spaces. When I had told the front disk that acted like they could care less.”

• Manager was helpful.
• Check in staff was not very accommodating.

“After changing rooms 3 times, we finally ended up with an acceptable suite. Manager was very friendly and helpful. Check in girl was fairly rude and not friendly at all. Breakfast in the restaurants was convenient but not very busy, so items on the buffet were not very fresh. Overall it was an ok experience.”

• We really enjoyed taking advantage of the pool and fitness area on our relaxing getaway.
• The shuttle bus was always parked right in front of the door.

“Our overall stay was excellent! The rooms were quiet, clean and spacious. The only thing I did not like was that the shuttle bus was always parked directly in front of the main entrance which blocked the view of on coming traffic in the parking lot. We did almost get hit once because the car couldn't see us either because of the blocking shuttle.”

• I liked the staff they were very helpful.
• The bedding was scratchy.

“My family and I really enjoyed staying at the Park Plaza however we would not consider it a 3 star hotel. In my opinion the bedding should be better with nicer and softer comforters. The staff was wonderful though. They always had wonderful suggestions for any questions we had and were great with directions.”

“Very nice room, clean, great bed, flat screen TV and I had a nice time at the lobby bar/restaurant. I would recommend this hotel if you're in the area. The only problem is the bar/restaurant is only open until 10 p.m.”

• Great location-minutes to the Mall of America & Galleria.
• A bit dated.

“Overall, we were pleased with the hotel. You can't beat the location as it's right off 494 and France Ave. and only minutes from the Mall of America, The Galleria, South Dale Mall and much more! The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. The lobby and rooms are a bit dated, but clean enough. I wouldn't necessarily consider it a 3-star hotel, but will stay there again.”

• Halls were dingy. Carpet stained. Elevator shaft filthy.

“The halls were dingy with carpet stains. The ice machine was broken. My first morning, they had a water pump problem so I had no hot water. The hotel staff was nice about it. I asked them to give me a complimentary breakfast for myself and my son because of the cold showers and they did so quite readily. So that was nice. But the facility itself was sub par. The staff was quite nice.”

• I liked the room.
• We waited for a long time at the lounge with no service. The front desk night manager always seemed bored and annoyed.

“Good room, pool area was nice, and the location was easy to get to. The room was clean and a request for additional towels was prompt. The shuttle service to the mall and airport was on time and driver was friendly. The restaurant was closed every day we tried to eat there although the sign said closed for lunch only, and was there on Sunday when we arrived. The service in the lounge was terrible.”

• Fitness room, close to 494/100/MOA, easy to find.
• Construction on the road to the hotel made it hard to see entrance at night.

“Right off of the 494 and 100, in an ideal location, the Park Plaza Hotel featured a comfortable room, excellent staff, what looked to be an elegant lounge and a fitness/pool area that would be great for children. We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel.”

• Location was close to MOA.
• Lots of construction out front. Hallway carpets are an eyesore.

“We went to this hotel for a shopping trip to MOA. Originally wanted to stay downtown but prices and availability did not accommodate. Was very pleased with the amenities for the price. Rooms are basic but very comfortable and clean. The free wireless internet was an added bonus. During our stay there was a significant amount of construction out front, otherwise no complaints.”
