• Good price, clean linens.
• Grubby looking people at breakfast, clean and they could have been millionaires.

• Close to my destination, cheap, right near Subway and a truck stop.
• Heat did not work and it was 20 degrees outside, did not wash sheets.

“Run down, dirty, smells. Wallpaper is coming off walls from water damage, heat in hotel was turned off-in room individual heaters did not work well. Sheets appeared to not have been changed or washed. All non-smoking rooms smell of cigar and other smoke. Bathrooms are stained. Pool is closed, don't bother. Area down a dark, poorly lit road by the side of the New Jersey Turnpike. Friendly check-in staff though, and close by to a truck stop with Subway and other places to grab a bite to eat. Turnpike Inn has pool tables and is a great place to hang-out for a while. Also very cheap! Perhaps not horrible when you consider the price but an absolutely filthy hotel. And, other customers are using this place as a drug and party hot spot, it would appear.”

• Conveniently located near major highways.
• The internet access did not work and some staff was not very professional.

“Overall, it satisfied my need for a place to stay. However, as a business traveler, one of the major reasons I chose this hotel was because of the wireless internet access. The problem was that it did not work. And when I called the front desk, the clerk knew nothing about it and took no steps to try and investigate or report the problem. So, I was stuck with no internet access the entire time. Had I known this, I would have stayed elsewhere. Also, the hotel's appearance was somewhat poor. Most likely due to the fact that the hotel was a bit older. But the wallpaper was bubbled and needing replacing, the ceramic tile in the bathtub was moldy, and the shower curtain was stained. The remote control to the television was also broken and did not work.”

• It is much comfortable and friendly staff for the selected price.
• Needs some renovation.

• The price is good and they do have free wifi.
• Front desk computers never work some staff really cold.

“This place a step above a trucker's motel to put it plainly. It has ok rooms but they don't even give you soap anymore. I think it has new owners and it's going straight do the tubes. The only positives are you can get it cheap and it has free wifi, (if you're in range). The negatives: a lot.”

• The ac unit was too small to cool the room.

“The room had seen better days. The ac nit was under powered for the size of the room. But the bed was comfortable and the price was right.”

“There are 5 lamps in the room, but three of them have no bulbs. Imagine how poor condition it is. The front desk is extremely not friendly.”

• In-op and very unhelpful staff. Got very frustrated.

“Hope not to ever go back to them again. Entrance lobby was not inviting. Need old furniture to be replaced. Staff had TV too loud and didn't really care that customer was at the counter. Very unprofessional. And no smiles. Very discouraging to be staying at this hotel.”

• There was nothing to like about this hotel. It was disgusting.
• The rooms had not been cleaned. The carpets were mildewed and stained. The staff was not helpful.

• Low price and excellent breakfast in the morning.
• Pool was shut down by management.

“Not the Bellagio but for 40$ excellent value. Comfy room, a bit stuffy upon arrival but turned the a/c on, went for dinner at Cracker Barrel, got back and all was well. Great free Breakfast in the morning( not just coffee and donuts). Would stay again.”

• I don't ever have to go there again.
• It was full of filthy, dangerous-looking people.

“A fire alarm forced everyone out of their rooms one night, and I could see that the place was home to types that no decent people would want to be anywhere near. The halls were steamy and smelled of mold and mildew, the breakfast consisted mostly of bad bread that fell apart in your hands, there were unsupervised little children about, the pool was empty and derelict, and so was the restaurant on the property. Disgusting.”

• The phone in the room did not work, bath tub plumbing was backed up, too close to I-295 so heard trucks drive by all night.

“The Motel has surpassed its glory days a long, long ago. At one point, it was probably a nice, family oriented place. However, it is no longer that in all respects. It is obvious that the motel is hanging on by its thread. The place is only good for bachelors who need an inexpensive place to sleep nothing more. I would be cautious about recommending the place to families or single, female travelers. It is essentially a place where you check in, sleep, shower in the morning and then leave ASAP...”

“It was impossible to find and the woman at the front desk could not even give directions. It was old, smelly and dirty and the toilet was not even set right in the bathroom. We left at 4 am just to get the hell out.”

• Stained furniture, carpets & walls, poorly maintained indoor pool area.

“Hotel has good bones but needs a lot of TLC. Bathrooms were clean but our rooms had old stained furniture, stained carpets, stained walls, outdated appliances, bad windows. Cleaning staff do not do a very good job cleaning the rooms as we found crumbs under every piece of furniture that was moved. Indoor pool also needs a lot of upgrading. We will not be repeat visitors. Does look like they are trying to update the property.”

• Stained carpets, old stained furniture, old appliances, questionable guests, dirty rundown pool area.

“This hotel is in need of a lot of TLC. The hallways look like they have been updated but the rooms we were in had badly stained carpets, stained walls, old stained furniture (to the point I did not want my 2 year old on them), broken bathroom door handles, and the list goes on. Thank goodness we were only paying $70 a night - anymore and I would have packed up and left. The pool area looks like no one cares about it. Their windows are in bad need of being replaced. Pictures that we saw on the Internet were definitely not ones of this property. For a bunch of guys this place is OK but not for a family. Their breakfast was actually quite nice which was surprising considering everything else!”

• It had big rooms.
• We had to switch rooms, because in the first room the toilet was broken and it was not clean.

“The people were not helpful when asked about the sites and saw no reason to ever go into Philly. We ended up at the welcome center on the Highway which was very polite and helpful.”

• Room had plenty of space for 5-6 people, if needed.
• Located on a dead-end street that was difficult to find.

“The Wellesley Inn is an older, although not outdated, 2-story hotel that features generously sized rooms, a nice pool, laundry facilities, and a continental breakfast. Located at the intersection of the New Jersey Turnpike and Interstate 275 it offers quick and easy access to those roads as well as to Highway 40, which is one of the main roads to the Atlantic City.”

“Hotel did not have an iron in the room. I had to go all the way up front and get iron and full size board. Hotel made me return when finished. Not a good area.”

• This hotel is quite easy to get to and has all of the comforts of home.
• I really don't have any complaints, but the complimentary continental breakfast could include more of a variety.

“This hotel is cozy, convenient and reasonably priced. The staff is very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.”
