- Very tiny bathroom. The hotel feels old and worn.
“The hotel feels tired, old and worn. The bathroom was tiny; only one person could be in it at a time. Not the type of bathroom one would expect at a 3-star rated hotel. The check-in for parking was long and laborious. That took longer than the front desk check-in.”

- Quiet, nice view, helpful staff who was willing to solve problems.
- The WiFi routers are in every fourth room. If a guest unplugs the router in their room, four rooms have no WiFi.
“Very clean, tastefully decorated but not overdone, convenient to town. The bedding is particularly comfortable. It's on a quiet side street, so very little traffic noise. We moved in because my house got flooded, so we stayed ten days before moving into a residence inn that has rooms more like an apartment (kitchen, two room suite) for a stay of a month or longer while the house is repaired.”

“This is a economy hotel with inflated pricing. The rooms have no insulation and you can hear everything on both sides of you. The pool is right by the street and not very restful. The rooms are in bad shape.”

- The lobby was the best just because it looked new.
- Pool was small, room was tiny, and was far from most sights.
“Some of the workers were young and were unprofessional and kept calling me "dude". The rooms were tiny and was pretty far from everything. I would never stay there again I would definitely stay at the Renaissance hotel.”

- Location is a bit far for anything.
“We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very nice and the room is super comfy and perfect space. Parking is 20$/day but its big and just two steps from the hotel. Hotel is a little far from shopping and restaurants but transport is easy to access (if you dont have a car). Free internet a buffet breakfast was a plus.”

“I was shocked and amazed at the quality of this hotel - very clean, nicely decorated and lots of extra amenities! I especially liked the awesome bed, linens, pillows and sleep kit containing an eye mask, earplugs, relaxation CD and lavender linen spray. Staff was pleasant and friendly as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends!”

- Broken items not fixed until I made major complaint.
“Comfortable beds. But items missing or not working in bathroom. Used toiletries sometimes replaced--other times not. Shower handle came off completely. Reported it first morning it happened. It happened again second morning--causing me to be slightly scalded. Manager finally handled complaint but only after I called repeatedly. Problem should have never occurred but once it happened it should have been fixed and happened again. And if it happened again, I would have expected prompt attention and response from manager. I was in la because my 30 year old son was in hospital for major surgery--I did not need the additional stress.”

“The first room we were assigned had been used, there was a used cotton swab in the bathroom and someone had left a salad in the room. It appeared that whoever had the room first may have moved to another room for whatever reason. “Hotel did provide free Wireless Internet, but with a huge catch. They censored and blocked web sites that they deemed us inappropriate. This really bothered me; since they had no problem selling Adult Movies on their in room pay per view, but on the other hand had the nerve to block websites that only had a small portion of adult material. Last time I checked this was a free country and as an Adult I can make the choice of what I want to see on the internet, I most definitely do not need a Hotel telling me which web sites I can or cannot go to. For this reason alone I will never stay at this hotel or chain (if they also censor) again.”

- Exceptional staff, excellent location, lots of amenities, comfortable bed.
- Gaps around door let in quite a bit of light.
“All levels of staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. Lots of amenities including good size in-room fridge, shaving kit, 24 hour gift shop/pantry, free business center and more. Breakfast is not free for priority club members unless you are gold/elite level. Location is excellent for both car and bus travel; also plenty of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.”

- The room was very dreary and smelled like smoke. It made us not want to be in our room.

- Other guests given keys to my room, reservation not honored, breakfast cold & incomplete, rude staff.
“Worst hotel stay. Reserved king non-smoking, was given doubles, smoking. Took one hour to change rooms to another double non-smoking. Other guests came into my room at night with keys given them by the front desk. $17 breakfast completely cold, toast missing. Called for toast and was given to plain pieces of untested bread out of the bag. Loud, smelly hotel. Could hear people in the adjacent rooms and walking on the floor above. Unprofessional staff. Smelled like people smoking pot next door, called the front desk, but nothing was done about it. No apology or any recompense offered me from the hotel for all these problems.”

- The bed and sheets were very comfortable.
- Old, no sound proofing, staff wasn't pleasant.
“He must've said it 3 times, as if to emphasize I did not pay full price. He was not particularly friendly and seemed impatient with describing where to park the car. Other than that, the hotel was located in a decent area, not extremely convenient if you do not have a car, but a little quieter. There is self parking available for $17, or valet for more. The hotel seemed old, and the bathroom felt like a small closet. Having said that, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There is virtually no sound-proofing as I could hear people down the hall, opening/closing doors, talking, etc.”

“We arrived at 12:30 am so it was good to be able to check in late. However, we were given a room adjoining another through a single door; it was easy to hear the TV on in their room, even at 1:30 am. Then we were awoken early the next morning by the next-door neighbor smoking (!) And speaking loudly into the phone. I had to wedge a towel down by the bottom of the door to muffle the noise and smoke smell. Upon checkout the desk person didn't ask how our stay was so we didn't really have an opportunity to complain.”

- We could hear the people talking in the room next to ours. One night it was late into the night.

- The beds were very comfortable and it was decorated nicely.
- Had plumbing problems with one of our rooms and the remote control for the TV was faulty.

- Ease in check in, helpful staff, great beds.
- Location is kind of far from d/t if you don¿t have a car.
“There was plenty to do in the hotel facility, and really liked the idea of the in-room masseuse (although I never got to utilize that). I was always looking to see if the concierge was at his desk and only saw him once, however. The front line staff at the desk and the valet was more than helpful for any questions we had. I more than likely will return if I go back to the la area.”

- The beds were very comfortable.
- They would not do a half order in the restaurant for my 9 year old. The food was only fair.
“The hotel was easy to find and the front desk people were pleasant. The room looked average but the beds were very comfortable. The restaurant was over priced for what was only fair quality food. Though they had a children's menu, it was very limited and they refused to do a half order off the regular menu.”

- Very comfortable beds with pillow tops, large pool, close to everything.
- All non-smoking rooms were booked; we had to take a smoking room.
“We were surprised that this was listed as a "three star" hotel. It comes very close to being a 4 star - especially compared to the dirty/trashy Ramada in west Hollywood that is listed as a 3 star.”
