• The breakfast was great. Very clean. Adult swim from 10:00-11:00.
• I was disappointed that there was no refrigerator in the room.

• Really nothing.

• Clean room, comfortable beds, location.
• Noise, late breakfast start for early risers, fire alarm went on repeatedly.

“some one pull the fire alarm at 11:45pm. The hotel staff tried to reset it until 1:00am. It kept sounding off during that time. At 06:00am the staff tried again to correct it sounding off at that time also. When I asked why they didn't wait until after check out time to correct the alarm, I received no answer. I wanted a full/ partial refund to go along with the partial night sleep my family received, " sorry sir we can't do that" My kids we worried all night about a possible fire. • The hotel staff was very friendly and eager to assist.
• I found the cost a bit excessive.

“The hotel premises and staff were excellent. The hotel offers an adult (children free) pool time between 10:00 and 11:00 pm, which was enforced. The continental breakfast had lots of variety to please all. Enjoyed my staff and would stay again in future visits to Bangor.”

• The bed and pillows were so comfortable--we slept like babies.
• No improvements needed.

“Room was small with a king bed which sloped to the center obviously an older bed also the TV unit took up allot of the room when we arrived the room had been given away an the guy at the front desk just happened to find a king bed room by chance but we had paid for the room about 6 weeks prior to our stay we left a comment with Marriott hotel and they said the manager world call me but he never did thank you for your help hope this helps you with this hotel john.”

• It was only available hotel.
• Mold in the bathroom.

“The Fairfield shows signs of wear beyond its years. In particular, the bath tub/shower had lots of mold. The breakfast food was good, but the breakfast area was too crowded -- I never had a place to eat. They were repaving the parking lot and had poor communication with guests. Next time I will stay at the Comfort Inn.”

• The hotel pool and hot tub were excellent; the staff very accommodating.
• The beds were too soft.

“I really liked this hotel, it was very easy to get to, the pool and hot tub were open late, and the staff was very nice. We would stay there in the future.”

• friendlyness of staff, nice continental breakfast
• didn' have an onsight restuant or loungei was pleased with the hotel.

“we were pleased wih the hotel. it was clean, staff helpful calling taxis, etc., 24 hour coffee was nice and fresh.”

“I would return to this hotel, anytime I am in the area. The hotel was everything I expected and more. The people who work for the Fairfield Inn were courteous and helpful at all times. Excellent Hotel!”

• The pool hours were excellent.
• Breakfast area was too small and people had to take breakfast back to the room whether they wanted to or not

“Check-in was quick and easy though I know it backed up considerably after 3:30. Pool area was quite nice and our room was clean. The breakfast area didn't have enough space and people seemed irritated.Overall, it was a fine experience and I would stay there again.”

• we checked in and got a king bed in smoking and asked to be changed to two doubles in non smoking...they did this for us and we we very happy.

“We stayed here August 26,27, 2005 and were very pleased.. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfasts were great and the room was lovely. I would stay here again any time.”

• Very friendly staff who provided directions to local attractions
• continental breakfast was too crowded; not enough tables and chairs.

“It was a little hard to find this hotel, being located between several major highways, but well worth it once we arrived. Rooms were pleasantly decorated and comfortable. We were disappointed that there were few towels at the pool and the sauna was locked/out of order both days we were there. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the chocolate chip cookies on Sunday afternoon were delightful.”

“Hard to find room, room numbers were mixed all up. no directions to rooms anywhere, shower did not drain, knob cap with hot cold instructions on tub missing, heat didn't work and grill missing on hvac unit. manager did not call or come when requested. breakfast minimal and out of nearly everything. front desk associates unhelpful, unfriendly. should be a 1 star at best”

“The hotel was very nice. My only small complaint is that the area they provided for the continental breakfast was very inadequate as far as seating was concerned. Other than that, everything was fine.”
