• Noice for couple of hours in night.

“We thought it was great, pool, allowed to smoke, restaurant, cinema across the st for 3.00, go carts near and easy to get to all shopping malls. Was thunder and lightning and power went out but not hotel's fault. For a light sleeper planes may bother then to sleep.”

• Location was OK. Not really near malls but there were restaurants nearby.
• My room smelled like smoke. The person at the counter told me I was lucky to get anything b/c the hotel overbooked. I was not happy.

“This hotel was very outdated and rundown. The staff were helpful when they could talk to you as only one person was at the desk and they took phone calls while I waited to check in. They "up sized" me to a business class but the room reeked of cigarette smoke. So bad I have to wash everything I brought with me when I got home. I am not impressed with the fact I was lucky enough to get anything at all as they overbooked. Even though I called the day before to confirm the room was booked. They did not give me any indication that I may not have a room when I arrived. I received no discount for my inconvenience. Also there is a dance bar attached to the hotel probably not a great place for a family to stay or anyone who wants some sleep on a Saturday night. Overall I am glad I only had one night booked here. Anymore than that and I defiantly would have switched hotels.”

• The hotel was in a convenient location.
• It was older and needs some updates.

“Overall the hotel was ok, but there was a bar in the hotel, which meant drunk and rowdy guests who ran the halls at 2 in the morning. Also, there was no breakfast provided.”

• Nothing.
• Did not clean rooms or even make beds.

“I would not recommend to anyone, this place is a dump and is managed like one. Left at 7am and returned at 8:30PM and the rooms had not been cleaned, towels were where I left them. Not a dime has been invested in this place in years. Stay away”

• Close to interstate, easy access.
• No elevator, dated interior.

“It is okay place to stay. Nothing great. No elevator in the building was bad, trying to bring heavy luggage to the second floor. Stayed in non smoking room, but the hallway stunk with smoke.”

“I wasn't expecting anything fancy. The first thing I saw were stains on both chairs in the room. This turned me off completely, we didn't even bother going down to the pool.”

“I requested a king size bed. Room on main floor, I can't do stairs, and they do not have elevators. Near the door for accessibility and ease for me. I always ask for the same room, much easier. When we got there, had a room with 2 beds, and a long walk down a hall. All things which makes it hard for me. My husband did not make a fuss at the desk, but helping me to manage and not have a good night sleep was not good, before going for treatment at the hospital. I was disappointed and I travel to Bangor for treatment no less than twice a month, am not sure what I will do on my next trip. 4 1/2 hrs drive and then not get the facilities you are expecting. Was not a happy customer!”

• Cleanliness. Carpet was very dirty, room had a musty smell. Difficult to exit off Interstate to find hotel.

“Was very surprised - normally you can count on Ramada for adequate accommodations. Was very disappointed.”

• Close to highway, comfortable room.
• Garbage on the floor under bed, very dirty remote control for television.

“Overall, slept well (comfy beds) and we had 2 quiet nights. Shower worked well, as well as the air conditioning. Excellent food at the restaurant, although customer service at this restaurant could have been better.”

• The pool had not been cleaned in a while.

• EZ on/off highway.
• The hotel bar is the gathering spot for a rowdy crowd from every adjacent county.

“Our stay was colored by the very active nightclub crowd attracted by the hotel's nightclub. Very active parking lot long into the night/morning.”

• The front desk night attendant was nice.
• Hotel smelled like mold, carpets moist, dirty mirrors, didn't feel safe, noisy and the overall feel wasn't good at all.

“The hotel wasn't in the best area. My AC in my room smelled like mold, the carpets were moist, I had dirty mirrors in my room and one to many fans in the bathroom. Overall I didn't feel safe, the hotel was noisy and outdated.”

• The cleaning staff did not clean our room following our first night stay, garbage was not emptied, towels were not replenished.

“The hotel was relatively clean room was large. The heated pool was actually too warm made for a not very refreshing swim.”

• The staff was pleasant and accommodating.
• The walls were paper thin; When others shut their door my headboard actually shook.

“Not at a three or two and a half star level. The walls are too thin and conversations in the hotel and outside in the parking lot can be heard clearly. When other guests shut their doors while not holding onto the handle the walls shook. The mattress was deplorable. On check-in I had dirty glasses and was given dirty glasses on three of the days that I stayed there. Disappointing stay.”

• Near the highway.
• Terrible beds. Dingy/dirty rooms.

“The bed sagged. There were no extra pillows or blankets. Worst of all, the nightclub downstairs kept us awake until after 1 AM (on a week night!). And then the highway/fire trucks made noise the rest of the night. Would have been more comfortable/quiet sleeping in my car in a rest area on Route 95.”

• No breakfast, not clean at all. Wall paper with water mark was hanging off the wall. Carpet is very filthy.

“The carpet, towels do not look clean at all. Bed is very soft, not a comfortable hotel to stay. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• The cleaning staff was very helpful in trying to help us get rid of the smoke smell in the room.
• Would have liked it better if it was a non-smoking room.

“The cleaning staff at the hotel went wait out of their way to help us with trying to get rid of the smoke smell in the room with providing us with air cleaning machines and also sprays to try to get rid of the odor.”

• Had problem with our door. They were quick to remedy it.
• Was a lot of people around outside at night smoking, etc.

“We enjoyed our stay. We found out that we did leave a pillow however. I called back and none was in housekeeping at the time. I did leave voice mail message and front desk advised me that someone from housekeeping would call me and advise if they found it. None ever did call me. On our way back through, we did stop and the pillow was sitting at the front desk so we did end up getting it back.”

• Front desk staff was very nice and accommodating.
• Needs updating--very old and stale for the price.

“Pillows are awful but the showers were very nice. Airport shuttle was easy and the staff was very friendly. The bulb was out in one of our lamps but internet access was quick and easy. For the price we paid, this hotel was pretty outdated and somewhat dirty, though.”

• The room #115 and the pool were pleasant.
• Night desk clerk very unprofessional, wouldn't deal with him again.

“Difficult to remember the hotel minus the clerk. Called him for directions, was short did not go into detail regarding a mandatory turn, so I got there later than I planned. Then he was huffing and puffing telling me that he did not have a number like I'd given him, so I got out my sheet from you and he finally after delay found a room. The room was very nice, and the pool very pleasant to swim in. But the people really do cast a poor shadow when they act as he did.”

• It was clean and close to the airport. Great service.
• There was a wedding and it was a little loud for me. It didn't quiet down until after midnight.

“It was clean, safe, and close to the airport. It had food available without leaving the hotel. That's important to me when I travel alone. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was very close to access doors to the hotel, which is also very important to me when I travel alone.”

• The room was pleasant and sunny. Good decor.
• So far out and near the airport.

“The staff was excellent, the decor was good, the room was clean. I feel it could use sanitary napkin bags and a larger plastic bag for laundry. All in all we were very pleased but have stayed at Ramada in Portland and in Connecticut.”

• Close to downtown and a nice business feel.
• The night club is loud and the rooms are a little dirty.

“If you are looking for a cheap hotel this id the best place, this a fine hotel. If you are looking for a hotel that you want to actually spend time in, this is not a great pick. The rooms were fairly clean, but left a lot to be desired. The cleaning staff were extremely friendly. I can not say the same for the front desk person. The hotel "nightclub" is also a popular place on Wednesday-Saturday nights so I would recommend a room away from it.”
