• Excellent food
  and service in the restaurant.
• Noisy heater in room & shower tiles were unclean.

“Average. Food and service in the hotel was excellent. Very friendly staff overall. Airport shuttle service was on time and drivers were pleasant. Hotel was advertised as recently remodeled. I expected clean shower walls; they weren't.”

• The staff was outstanding, very friendly and helpful. The pool was wonderful. There were no children in sight, which for us was fabulous.

was outstanding, they went out of their way to provide us with a room with a king bed and shuttled us to and from our dinner destination so we didn't have to drive or take a cab. The pool was great, sauna and hot tub were amazing. By far the best place we have stayed in Portland.”

• Hotel was close to airport and downtown.
• Nothing I did not like.

“Hotel was comfortable and more than adequate for a 1 night stay. We used the health club facility in the morning which while not large had 3 treadmill, 1 bike and 1 elliptical along with free weights and some machines. We were not here long, but would definitely stay again as the room was very nice and clean.”

• The location was convenient as it was a day's drive from our home. We left the next morning to our final destination.
• No morning breakfast.

“We were able to find the hotel very quickly from #95. The front desk was quick and efficient. It met our needs for a one night stay and route to our final destination. We would stay again and would recommended it to others. That area is quite busy and difficult to find a room at the last minute.”

• The close proximity to restaurants and retailers made it easy to access without transportation.
• The inability to access certain channels on basic cable making it necessary to watch in the bar area.

  am not an allergy prone person, but tend to wake up with increasingly irritated eyes the longer I stay in Wyndam hotels.

“Over all very nice rooms. I thought it excessive that they charged me 75 cents for a local call. Every time I have stayed in a Wyndam hotel my eyes become terribly swollen and irritated.”

• 2 yrs ago it was a Sheraton and now an upgraded Wyndham. A+.
• The room AC was too powerful for the size of the room.

“My husband and I stayed here 2 years ago when it was a Sheraton, and enjoyed our stay very much. This time around, we were pleasantly surprised at the hotel upgrades. We were assigned a room on the club floor with access to the club lounge for snacks and non alcoholic beverages. The location of the hotel was really close to all the major roads, and shopping.”

“This hotel was perfect for our needs: it was located near Portland, Maine, and near enough to the college at which we were dropping off our son. We drove, but it was clear from a computer board in the lobby that this would be an excellent hotel for people using the Portland airport.”

“It was fun to stay in a hotel with an out of the box shape. We had lot of fun walking around the corridors and enjoying the views. Location was across the Maine Mall. We were able to get late check out. Also, there is a sandwich/salad/drink/desert area in the lobby. This allowed us to get a quick dinner after a busy day and avoid room service charges.”

• Big scenic windows, and it was clean and quiet.
• I didn't like the selection of channels to watch on TV.

“I thought the hotel was very good. The hotel was appealing and clean. The best part was that it was quiet. I needed peace and got just that. I also like the location it was immediately across from the Maine Mall (within walking distance). There wasn't much to dislike about the hotel, except the range of channels to watch weren't what appealed to me.”

• Place is getting old.

“This is a nice hotel in which to stay. It was central to all of our destination from Freeport to Old Orchard to Kittery. Nearby are many restaurants and stores. Our room was always clean and quiet. The hotel was nice but some of the older fixtures could be replaced. i.e., hair dryer, toilet seat, pool toys. Condensation from the A/C caused the carpet to be wet. However that's all minor stuff. The room was comfortable and that's what really counts.”

• The parking lot needs to be paved.

• Attractive room with a refrigerator and microwave.
• The water temperature was very bad. In the shower we were either butned or frozen - temperature changed every few seconds making a shower almost impossible.

“Room was large and accommodating. The room was clean and well appointed. Not many channels available on the TV - looked like basic cable at best. The desk staff was not very responsive to our questions about things to do in the area - or any other questions for that matter (this was, after-all, a tourist location & being from out of town we were looking for things to do.) There was no concierge on site, so we were directed to a display of rack cards to shuffle through. Staff was quite unresponsive with the exception of the bell man who went out of his way to help us navigate a visitor map.The hotel has some water problems. In the shower the temperature changed every few seconds from hot to cold making a shower quite uncomfortable (& quick!). Probably would not stay here again.”

“The hotel seemed to be in transition from being a Sheraton to a Wyndham. Baseboards were not finished in halls and rooms. The restaurant /bar seemed more for business travelers rather than family. It was quiet, clean, and my visiting 3 year old niece enjoyed the pool on Sunday morning.”

“We were happy to get this hotel as we always wondered about the uniqueness of its circular architecture. The staff at the front desk were great recommended a super pizza place. Very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool. Comfy beds. The only thing that was disappointing was the bathroom needed updating, stained tub, tile kind of icky, but it was very clean.”

• The location to the local nightlife and eateries was awesome.
• I don't have anything- I enjoyed my stay immensely.

“Although the exterior may be a little plain, this circular hotel with its great staff and location are anything but plain! In addition, they just added a new bar that had something for everyone- a sitting room to hang out. A bar, a small restaurant area and even fresh sandwich platters to take to your room. If you didn't like what they were serving there were several eateries and the Maine Mall to give you numerous options. The shuttle driver to the airport was also very friendly. All in all, a great hotel.”
