“Clean and comfortable.” Oct 15, 2009 by

“Nice, and quiet place with good parking. Close enough to downtown Portsmouth for convenient access by auto, but it is not walking distance to anything.” Aug 20, 2009 by
Andy from Saugerties,NY
“A great hotel. Consistently reliable brand, proven by the courteous and attentive staff, impeccable cleanliness, fitness center, nice indoor pool, free wifi.” May 15, 2009 by
Kurt B from Freeport,NY
“A nice place to stay. I would stay here again. Clean facility with pleasant staff.” Mar 30, 2008 by
Kathy from Winslow, ME
“Really enjoyed out stay. It was so convenient to get to and so centrally located to Downtown Portsmouth and Fox Run Mall.” Feb 29, 2008 by
Louise from Derry, NH
“As soon as you enter the lobby you get the feeling you are in a facility that is a cut above the norm. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, a respite above and beyond the sterile atmosphere of many hotels. The rooms are comfortable and roomy. And what a treat to experience a flat screen HD TV.” Feb 12, 2008 by
Janice from Kenai, AK
“We had trouble finding the hotel because it was among trees and a business park was located very near. The sign was tiny, and our GPS couldn't find it. It needs to be more visible with a bigger sign. Also, there were no cookies at check-in. I think this is a feature during the week. I didn't know there was a pool either.” Jan 6, 2008 by
Sarah from James Creek, PA
“Very nicely remodeled rooms with everything you could need. Microwave, fridge, safe, flat screen HDTV. The staff is so friendly and helpful.” Dec 27, 2007 by
Charles B. from Mount Vernon, ME
“Great place would highly recommend.” Nov 26, 2007 by
Richard from Anchorage, AK
“Great location and management. Only problem is the rooms heat/cooling unit was so noisy we couldn't hear the TV or talk when it came on. It also woke us up at night.” Sep 28, 2007 by
Marcia from Rochester, MN
“Great hotel after initial smoking smell of room. They were very nice about moving us to another room.” Jul 16, 2007 by
Julie from Center Valley, PA
“This Courtyard by Marriott was very clean and had a super friendly staff. It's location was close to perfect, and the Kittery outlets and downtown Portsmouth. My husband loved the giant flat screen TV. Need to say more?” Apr 25, 2007 by
Kerry from Leeds, ME
“The staff was polite and friendly. The beds were comfortable, beautiful rooms. We spent most our time enjoying the hot tub and pool. I like the convenience of being able to work with my wireless laptop while staying there.” Mar 27, 2007 by
Sam from Poughkeepsie, NY
“I would not say they are a 3 star hotel due to the renovations they had no amenities, they advertise chocolate chip cookies and never received one even after asking I only received a rain check, I felt uncomfortable that the adjoining door was never locked after repeated requests and I was there for three days and the sheets were never changed but the beds were made. I found the sock I slept in, in between the sheets the next night. The staff seemed helpful even though there was no follow through on my requests. And the hotel smelled of the renovations being completed but only in the lobby.” Mar 15, 2007 by
Sandra from Homestead, FL
“Very clean room, staff was very helpful, and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever had in a hotel room. The wireless internet signal was somewhat weak, but they had a computer in the lobby that was open to all guests. The pool and whirlpool looked very clean and inviting, although we did not have the chance to use them.” Dec 23, 2006 by
Bill from Valatie, NY
“Location and accommodations are great. Facilities such as work out room and pool and Jacuzzi were great.” Dec 15, 2006 by
Mary from Wake Forest, NC
“It was conveniently located and easy to find from the Boston airport. I suppose having the pool and Jacuzzi all to me added much to my positive experience. Nice to have a restaurant available, though we did not use it.” Nov 2, 2006 by
Ruth from Provincetown, MA
“Overall, this was a fine experience. This Courtyard Marriot should have a larger Marriot sign at the entrance. Choice of current on demand movies would have been nice. Overall it was fine for a 2 night stay. Desk clerks had very little knowledge of good restaurants in Downtown Portsmouth, and were not great with directions in the downtown area, but they were friendly. The coffee in the cafe was excellent, but the only wine they had at the bar was a very poor chardonnay. I would stay there again when in Portsmouth. ” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
