• The small kitchen was convenient and made the room seem bigger.
• No business center with computers but you could use wireless internet on your own laptop.

“Esa Danvers worked out well for our stay. We visited Boston by parking at a parking lot and taking the commuter train in. It's about 15 minutes from the train. The room was clean but they only clean your room, make the bed; change the towels, etc, if you stay at least seven days. But knowing that no one was coming into our room the three days we stayed there was actually kind of nice. There is no pool, business center or restaurant in the hotel, but they have (for $5 per stay) wireless internet you can use on your own laptop, and supermarkets and restaurants are close by. The staff was friendly and eager to help. The little kitchen is nice too. You get a large refrigerator, two burners and a microwave. They even have some kitchen utensils for you to use. It also makes the room look bigger.”

• Location great for North Shore.
• No coffee in room!

“Barest bones, bed, TV, kitchenette, bath. No maid service if stay less than 7 days, No coffee but 2 cup coffee maker, soap in bathroom, shampoo available at front desk. No frills, no problem. We took to bringing coffee from people we were visiting to microwave in the morning.”

• Staff was helpful and friendly.
• Room and hallway of hotel had some musty smell.

“The Hotel was very decent, friendly staff. I like that kitchen, microwave and fridge was part of our room. Only thing missing and needed was a pool. Hotel was close to major stores and shopping. I would recommend stay at Hotel to friends.”

• The hotel was convenient to both Boston and Salem. Daytime staff was helpful and pleasant.
• The kitchen was crawling with ants, toilet clogged, nigh time staff could not fix it, bed uncomfortable, and comforter dirty.

“Though conveniently located, this hotel leaves much to be desired. The convenience of the kitchen was overridden by the ants crawling throughout on the floors. Toilet was clogged upon arrival and the night staff claimed it was a broken water pump. Miraculously a morning plunging finally cured the problem. Bathroom was dirty, as well as the bed covering. Deserves 1 star at best. Would not recommend to anyone.”

• Roomy with kitchenette and plenty of closet space.
• Location was not ideal - quite a ways away from any restaurants or stores.

• The staff was friendly and extremely helpful.
• The location is a little confusing for someone not familiar with the area.

“Overall, this stay was a great experience. Things were clean and staff was friendly. The style of extended stays was different; housekeeping was kept to a minimum due to longer stays to once in seven days' stay. We stayed 3 nights and they were generous with towels as well as extra pillows, etc.”

• The hotel was immaculate and all of the employees were American and spoke English.
• There were no amenities at all i.e. Pool, grass etc.

“We stayed at Esa for 3 nights while attending a reunion. The hotel was conveniently located close to 3 major highways. The staff was excellent, helpful and friendly and the hotel was very clean. Good place to stay if you are busy in the area however there is nothing to do at the hotel itself in terms of amenities.”

• The room we stayed in was very clean and had many conveniences available, such as a refrigerator and microwave.
• The bathtub plug wouldn't hold water.

“Our stay this time around was much better. The hotel has gone through a great deal of remodeling and updating. Our room was perfect and made us feel very comfortable.”

• Kitchen amenity was a bonus, and so were laundry facilities.
• No pool.

“Easy access to highway 1 allowed short and fast drive to Logan airport. Hotel staff was always pleasant and helpful in answering our many questions about the area.”

• Our room was 1st floor. We could hear people walking, taking shower on the above floor.

“The hotel lobby and breakfast area are not large as extended stay in Peabody for same price. No swimming pool while Peabody had one.”

• Noticed people with their pets - I did have a concern, but didn't ask, whether there were designated rooms for pets.

• Other hotel in the chain have dishwasher, pool.

• The kitchen was a great extra, room was big.
• Bathtub was not cleaned before we checked in- bad for children.

“This hotel was good for a short stay with a family, the full sized fridge and microwave were great. The rooms are only cleaned once a week though, so the tub being dirty from the previous guest was kind of gross. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.”

“On major route but if going North on rode couldn't get into hotel because there is no way to make left turn. Have to drive many miles north, exit parkway, then get back on to drive south to entrance.”

• Has kitchen facilities, wonderful beds.
• NOTHING.

“Hotel was perfect for what I need. I commute to Boston from northern New Hampshire. When I arrive late or have to be at work early A.M., I need a place to stay for a couple of hours. The was right and I felt honored to be able to stay there.”

• All the amenities (the in-room coffee was delicious) desired with a friendly staff at a great price.
• The temperature controls in the room didn't work so well. But do they ever?
