“Favorable and easy for early morning flight.” Oct 29, 2009 by
Cheryl from Mashpee,MA “The rooms were okay. Pretty normal. The staff was excellent and was always there to attend to any need we had.” Oct 28, 2009 by
Dave from Spearfish,SD
“Hotel is nice and lobby staff is excellent. On an island by itself, so if you want to see anything outside the hotel, you'll have to catch water taxis that can drop you off conveniently at Long Wharf, in the heart of downtown Boston. If you don't mind the $17 round-trip and 15 minutes each time, the water taxi is a fine way to reach Boston, but the hotel is within walking distance of nothing. Big difference in the room views, one side is of Logan airport runway, other side overlooks the Bay and Boston. You can guess which is preferable.” Oct 25, 2009 by
Vikki from Santa Barbara,CA
“Bathroom sink had tooth paste in it. Toilet was dirty. On day 2, the room did not get made up until 6:00 pm. Television did not work properly. Parking fees were $32.00 a day. Staff was apologetic and helpful. But did not offer any compensation.” Oct 18, 2009 by
Kurt from Aliso Viejo,CA
“My flight arrived after midnight, so I wanted a hotel close to the airport where I could spend the night. For that purpose, the Hyatt worked out great. If I were to spend more time there, I think the hotel would not have met my expectations of a 4-star hotel. The room was in a state of disrepair - the closet door was broken and there were many holes and dings in the wall.” Oct 6, 2009 by
Kelvin from Clarklake,MI
“The hotel architecture is very unique. The lobby is inviting and grand and has large windows overlooking the water. The elevators allow you to see the water as you rise to higher floors. The rooms are rather large. Very comfortable beds.” Oct 4, 2009 by
Ron from Houston,TX
“Great ambiance, great rooms, great view of city. Overall a nice experience.” Sep 25, 2009 by
Rolf from Tulsa,OK
“A great hotel for the airport area. Expensive dining, no other local food options. Bed linens were "too small" for the bed, limited washcloths and bathroom supplies. Unbelievable views of Boston Harbor.” Sep 12, 2009 by
Ortrud from Key Biscayne,FL
“Easy to get to, friendly staff, location was just what we wanted for the night before an early departure (have been there before with Priceline!).” Sep 4, 2009 by
Ken from Inver Grove Heights,MN
“Nice hotel, extremely friendly staff.” Sep 2, 2009 by
Tina from Bristol,NH
“Super friendly staff, comfortable beds. no economical options for dining, hot tub jets did not work and the pool could use a good cleaning- Overall a great hotel for the price we paid!!” Aug 24, 2009 by
Patty from Meriden,CT
“Awesome view of the harbor in the early AM and PM. Very quiet - Can not hear the airport noise.Very contemporary. Will definitely recommend the hotel to everyone.” Aug 20, 2009 by
Mary Ann from Williston,VT
“Good location, fair price, staff was excellent and incredible views from the back rooms.” Aug 17, 2009 by
Lynde from Alton Bay,NH
“Harbor views are beautiful and entertaining. Runway ending at elevator very dramatic. I will hope to stay here each time need a hotel in Boston.” Aug 3, 2009 by
Lea from West Lebanon,NH
“Beautiful hotel. Very comfortable beds. Great for a night before catching a flight or after a long flight. Beautiful view from the terrace.” Jun 28, 2009 by
Joan from South Dennis,MA
“One complaint: they used a great deal of carpet deodorizer which is really toxic stuff - smells fine but breathing is a hazard. I don't have significant allergies or asthma, but this was a serious problem for the time I was here.” Jun 11, 2009 by
Robert from Destin,FL
“Best location for airport travel. Great price, (thanks to Priceline). Water shuttle into city takes only 7 minutes. It was a great stay.” Jun 4, 2009 by
Eric from Appleton,WI
“The Hyatt is well located for travelers going to Logan, the shuttle from the hotel gets you to the airport in a few minutes. The view from the hotel toward downtown Boston is quite nice. The actual rooms are very modern, with flat screen TVs, are comfortable and clean. The restaurant is sufficient if you cannot get out from the hotel. The location is not in particular very good if you are planning on spending a longer time in Boston, unless you plan on checking out East Boston or have a rental car. The room was soundproof as far as blocking out airport noise, but there was a lot of noise in the hallway late at night which was not well blocked out by the doors or wall. Overall, this is a good hotel for business travelers using the airport, but otherwise I would just spend more money and stay in a different location.” May 29, 2009 by
Johnny Appleseed from Torrington,CT
“Excellent experience start to finish. Huge portions on room service desserts and very helpful staff.” May 29, 2009 by
Sam from Somerset,NJ
“Good rooms with great additional facilities like pool and gym. The harbor side view was very beautiful. Very convenient for traveling to airport. The food was expensive inside the hotel.” Apr 11, 2009 by
Charlotte from South Casco,ME
“We have stayed there many times and really enjoy it. It is certainly convenient to the airport.” Mar 30, 2009 by
Cory from Nantucket,MA
“Very convenient to the airport and was a perfect overnight stay prior to flying out.” Mar 27, 2009 by
Matt from Chicago,IL
“Great stay. If you can eat before you get there.” Mar 18, 2009 by
Karen from Seattle,WA
“The hotel is between the water and the airport. Everything is convient. The staff was friendly and very helpful during our stay. The restaurant and bar have a nice view of the city. The wait staff were excellent also. And the food was good. I would stay and the Hyatt and not the Hilton. I stayed at both places this trip.” Jan 25, 2009 by
Mike from Pompano Beach,FL
“Excellent hotel if you need to be near the airport. Rooms with city view are awesome. Rooms in general are well equipped.” Jan 12, 2009 by
Tika from Florence,AL
“Hotel was clean with a very nice room. It was convenient to the airport and to the place we had business. We would stay there again if back in Boston.” Nov 29, 2008 by
Mike from Brighton,MA
“I stayed here because I had a very early morning flight out of Logan Airport. I checked in at about 6:30 pm and had to leave at about 5:30 the next morning, so I had only a brief stay but was able to spend a very relaxing hour and a half at the gym and the pool/hot tub. It was dark out but the skyline of Boston lit up at night is still stunning. Staying here for the pool alone is worth it! I've also never experienced such friendly and professional hotel staff in my life. Did not eat at the restaurant or use room service but the restaurant looked very nice as well. When I checked in, I was offered an upgrade to a room with a harbor view for $20 - I would have been tempted if I were staying longer but decided it was not worth it for a short stay. Besides, you get the same view from the pool.” Oct 28, 2008 by
Shirley
“We love going to this hotel as it is beautiful and has a beautiful view.
Sep 12, 2008 by
Randy from Osage, IA
“Excellent location to Logan International Airport with convenient shuttle service. Amazing views throughout the hotel. Staff went out of their way to accommodate and make you feel welcome. Room decor was colorful and modern with many extra comforts.” Sep 12, 2008 by
Hazel from Bradenton, FL
“My husband and I enjoyed an excellent steak dinner. Again, pricey but very tasty and elegantly served. Had a private room with almost no noise at all (an occasional slammed door from nearby). I love the soaps, citrus and lavender, what a beautiful fragrance. The pool is a bit on the cold side but refreshing. We liked that it was a salt-water pool and didn't burn our eyes like chlorine pools. Again, the view and location are superb. We had no problems other than the pricey parking lot.” Sep 8, 2008 by
Deb from Kingfield, ME
“The hotel has a wonderful view of Boston over the harbor and the room was modern & very comfortable. Parking should be included with the cost of the room. $32 for parking in a lot with hardly any cars in. This hotel is not in downtown Boston!” Sep 7, 2008 by
Daren from Hesperus, CO
“I think in terms of appearance/amenities etc. The hotel is great. I have stayed here before, and never had any problems, but this time it seemed to be noisy very early. I guess people had early flights?” Sep 6, 2008 by
Don from Plano, TX
“This was an attractive hotel with an unobstructed view of the Boston Skyline across the Boston Harbor. There are little fires inside some of the tables to keep warm. Comfortable outdoor seating. The concierge helped me get Red Sox tickets and told me how to get to the game on the subway. Parking was far too expensive, since this wasn't even downtown. I paid $10 for 2 nights of parking at the Newark Hilton the night before. This hotel was $32 for self-parking for 1 night.” Sep 5, 2008 by
Marcia from Petaluma, CA
“Great service, great location, fantastic restaurant.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Dona from Powder Springs, GA
“I loved the location on the water and at night you can sit outside next to the harbor with a fire and order food and drinks. It was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable, I loved the hotel, but hated the tolls and parking fees in the city.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Jp from Barnegat, NJ
“The Airport Hyatt is clean and somewhat attractive, but it does not compare to the airport Hilton in Boston. The shuttle service to the Subway was slower than that of the Hilton. One night we had to wait 30 minutes to be picked up from the Subway station which is only 8-10 minutes away.” Aug 31, 2008 by
Duncan from Manassas, VA
“Great hotel. Wait staff in restaurant and bar seem poorly trained/motivated. Very long waits for service.” Aug 29, 2008 by
Chris from East Rochester, NY
“The hotel itself was very nice. Indoor pool/gym/2 restaurants. The rooms were good size and had a great view over the harbor onto downtown Boston. The staff was very accommodating. 24/7 free hotel shuttle to airport. We used it to get to the airport Subway station. Only a few minutes from the airport/subway/downtown. The down side is that there are no in-room refrigerators, coffee pot and they charge $32/day to park on their property. I encourage anyone staying here to park in the economy lot number 3 at the airport. Only use number 3 lot. It costs $18/day. Pay for one day only and keep your car there as long as you want with the pass in the front window. The airline bus drivers/parking attendants told us this on the sly. There is no one stationed there to check the car out, so they don't enforce daily rates, you can take it out/in whenever you want without penalty. You will not need your car while in Boston, use the subway. It stops running at 12:30 am.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Layne from Spokane, WA
“First class hotel with a beautiful location that was unexpected. We were very surprised as to their great hospitality and the comfort. If our travels require a return to Boston this hotel would be our first choice.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Amir from New York, NY
“This hotel is great. I had a fabulous room, with excellent amenities, and friendly staff. There was a lot of space and privacy, as well as someone there to help with any need. One of my better hotel stays ever.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Mel from Webster, NY
“Was ok, won't stay here again, no easy access to city.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Terry from Poplar Grove, IL
“Not the greatest facility but if you want a fantastic view - this is your hotel.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Jackie from Plantation, FL
“Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Excessive charge for self-parking well above other Hyatt hotels at airports where I have stayed. Staff did not indicate that I only had 10 minutes from check out to get my luggage and leave hotel parking lot and when it took me 20 minutes tried to charge me an additional $12.00 over and above the $32.00 they already collected for me to park my own car for just 8 hours. Staff were not very friendly. Hotel was very convenient for airport traveling.” Aug 20, 2008 by
James from Boynton Beach, FL
“I specifically asked for a smoking room as my wife and I are heavy smokers and both have smoked over 50 years. When we checked in we were informed that the hotel only has 6 smoking rooms and they were occupied. After a pleasant meal in the restaurant, we stepped outside to the patio for a smoke. There were at least 30-35 people outside smoking. Does the hotel need to rethink its smoking policy. I think it needs to listen to its customers preferences.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Susan from Portland, OK
“All of the staff was very helpful. The hotel was located close to Boston Logan airport, gas stations and car rental return. Free shuttle service was provided to and from the rental station and the airport. As a result, I decided to return my rental car that evening. Since the hotel location was close to the rental return, this was an easy process, even at 11:00 PM. The hotel provided return shuttle service from the rental center that arrived shortly after I returned my car. Our flight was early the next morning so we were unable to take full advantage of all the hotel had to offer.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Elizabeth from Richardson, TX
“Overall the hotel was extremely comfortable and very stylish. Great views of the harbor. Very helpful and friendly staff. Wonderful bed!” Aug 16, 2008 by
Ramon from Baltimore, MD
“The hotel is very nice. The staff is very nice. The views are also nice. Now for the bad stuff. Parking is $32/day. Coming in and out of the hotel due to tolls is at least $4.75. Add it all up and it gives you a big headache. Don't stay here. Stay inside the city and take public transportation. Boston is not commuter friendly.” Aug 16, 2008 by
Rita from New London, WI
“We could not have been happier with this hotel. Everyone was so helpful. They shuttled us back from car rental and to and from the Subway whenever we would call with very little waiting and to the airport. Held our luggage for us the day of departure and we were able to swim long after checkout. Everyone just was very nice. The view of the harbor was awesome. Could lay in bed and look out and see only the water past the window. Beautiful.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Sam from St. Petersburg, FL
“Good food, friendly service, beautiful views.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Shawna from Skowhegan, ME
“I try and stay at this hotel each time I come to Boston because of it's location and comfort. I recommend it to people who are coming to Boston as the place to stay. I was bothered by the way the front person spoke to me but the rest of the staff during my stay was very helpful and very kind and I soon forgot all about the other person.”
