“Very nice and all the staff were great.” Apr 28, 2008 by
Jeff from Bangor, ME
“The service was excellent. Good size rooms and offered many services. We loved the location. Very safe area with great shopping!” Apr 28, 2008 by
William from East Aurora, NY
“The staff were helpful and courteous. The rooms were on the small side, but well-maintained, and comfortable. If you do business in Europe, you won't mind the size at all. The gym has nice equipment, but it's small and very warm.” Apr 21, 2008 by
Camille from Sparta, NJ
“Very nice stay. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.” Apr 17, 2008 by
Wendy from Providence, RI
“I thought the staff were extremely helpful and polite. The bar located downstairs was a very casual and relaxing atmosphere. The room was spacious enough for two and the bottled water they give you came in handy the next morning!! Very nice stay!” Apr 17, 2008 by
Donna from Marietta, GA
“I would highly recommend this hotel. Rooms were very nice and clean. One of the best locations in the city to be able to walk everywhere. Convenient to subway if you did want to venture more out as well. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff as well. Would definitely stay here again.” Apr 17, 2008 by
Steve from Fort Myers, FL
“The Hilton was a nice and clean hotel. We especially liked the short walk to Quincy Market. The only thing that stood out as bad was that there wasn't enough room in the dresser. But overall we really liked the hotel and would recommend it.” Apr 16, 2008 by
Marvin from Calgary, AB CA
“Great hotel. At first, my room was next to the elevator, which was very noisy. At my request, they promptly moved me to a quieter room. Valet parking is only $15 per night very reasonable compared to other Downtown hotels in other cities. Rooms are huge compared to most, and well appointed clean too. Location is very close to wharf and Faneuil Hall also close to a few metro stations. I'd stay here again.” Apr 16, 2008 by
Melanie from Calgary, AB CA
“Excellent service and location!” Apr 15, 2008 by
Giuseppe from Wethersfield, CT
“Hotel was in a great location within walking distance to several local attractions. Room was nicely appointed and staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the concierge staff and valets.” Apr 13, 2008 by
Audie from Providence, RI
“We found some renovations in progress both outside and inside. The completed renovations were very nice without being too over the top. We liked the breakfast buffet and the bar. All the staff were friendly and on top of things. We hope to go back!” Apr 9, 2008 by
Cory from Bridgewaer, MA
“It was luxurious, modern, and clean and close to everywhere we needed to be that night.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Don from San Francisco, CA
“Generally and overall quite nice for a "surprise" hotel. You never know what you're going to get! Not a perfect location but fairly central to Downtown, Washington street, freedom trail and North End, but far from Newbury St., Charles St., etc.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Dan from Peabody, MA
“Stayed there twice. I would book a room.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Todd from Canton, MA
“The Boston Hilton was perfect for what I was looking for. Loved my stay there!” Apr 9, 2008 by
Scott from Walpole, MA
“Comfortable and quiet rooms. Elevators were slow. Very convenient location with many restaurant choices in a few blocks.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Brian from Nashua, NH
“Clean well-appointed room. Convenient location. A hidden gem in Boston's financial district.” Mar 28, 2008 by
Matt from Charlottesville, VA
“Overall good experience for the money. Good location in Financial District. Clean. Room upgraded to larger king room. This isn't a 4-star luxury hotel but clean, reliable and good place to stay if your top priority is location and price.” Mar 14, 2008 by
Melinda from Laurel, MS
“This is an excellent hotel. There is hot cider in the lobby at night and the coffee pots in the room are excellent for making your own in the morning. The in-room movies were great. The bathrooms had plenty of counter space, in contrast with another hotel I stayed in nearby. An excellent choice.” Feb 24, 2008 by
Dyan from Manchester, ME
“The marble floors and chandeliers in the lobby was a nice touch. The elevators were spacious; the hallways with an interesting choice of carpet- although they were a bit narrow. All of the workers here were kind. The library was a bit disappointing though; the internet connection had a range of good to disconnected, mainly leaning towards the disconnected side. The books were drab- although it was interesting to see what seemed like nearly every encyclopedia known to mankind, they were just that. Encyclopedias. I don't really know why they had them all, but who on earth did they expect to read them? Heaven knows I never saw a soul reading one. In conclusion, it was a posh place, but with some unnecessary embellishments.” Feb 22, 2008 by
Cindy from Bangor, ME
“The Hilton Boston Financial District is a beautiful hotel located next to Quincy Market, the Waterfront and many other attractions. A quick taxi ride can get you to shopping and historical sightseeing. Although it is in the Financial District, it is not just for the business traveler. It will be loved by all hotel connoisseurs.” Feb 21, 2008 by
Aaron from Washington, DC
“Recommended for business travelers. Staff professional and friendly, but the hotel experience overall is a bit rough around the edges at times: lobby ran out of gratis morning coffee on two occasions, there were bits of trash left in the hallways for hours on end over the two days we stayed at the hotel. All these little problems started to add up, and gave us the impression that the hotel management was not really on top of everything. Location is okay, but isolated from the everyday activity of a city.” Feb 21, 2008 by
George from Carmel, NY
“Location is great, staff is awesome, rooms are nice, parking is a issue they charge $38 per night, I found safe public parking two blocks away on milk/Oliver st for $27 for two days, so if you don't mind walking other than parking my stay was great and the staff were helpful, courteous and friendly.” Feb 18, 2008 by
Julie from Flat Rock, MI
“I am familiar with the Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall area of Boston, but with all of the one-way streets in the area, this hotel was somewhat difficult to find. After getting situated, the hotel's location was very convenient, and in decent walking distance to everything that I was looking for, including 2 "T" stations. During the first full day of our stay, the city broke a water main or some type of steam pipe right outside the hotel, and the hotel actually ended up being without hot water and heat for about 8 hours of the day. I thought the hotel staff handled this situation fairly well, and felt that they were pretty honest with their responses about the situation. They did offer to refund our money if the situation did not get corrected. We went out for dinner and to a couple of local pubs, and by the time we returned, the heat and hot water were restored. The hotel has a very nice and convenient workout center on the basement level with all of the basic necessities. Overall, I liked the hotel, especially for the value, and I would definitely stay there again when visiting Boston.” Feb 15, 2008 by
Tg from Worcester, MA
“We had a disappointing experience at the Hilton. Upon arriving, the entrance was crowded, we took care of ourselves and getting our bags to the room (not what we'd expect from a four star hotel). It was a romantic birthday get away. When checking in - we were informed that a steam pipe burst and there was no hot water or heat in the hotel. It was supposed to be restored that evening - it eventually came on in the early morning hours. We did not receive any accommodations for this inconvenience. The hotel lounge/restaurant was not of four star qualities - the setting was okay, we've been in nicer places. The whole experience was mediocre.” Feb 13, 2008 by
Mike from Newton, MA
“The hotel is located in Boston. Although not the most ideal location, a short cab ride anywhere you need to go. The suite was much smaller than expected. The room and hotel was very clean. However; there was no hot water and expected some sort of a comp since I had to take the coldest shower of my life before going out on my girlfriend's birthday.” Feb 13, 2008 by
Maurice from Vernon, CT
“The Hilton Financial is in a great location if you're looking to take in some of Boston's attractions. It is walking distance to Fanuel Hall/Quincy Market, The Freedom Trail, and the aquarium. As for the Hotel, I thought the room that was provided to us very small with a view of the Hotel Air-conditioning unit. I'm not sure if this was just bad luck.” Feb 13, 2008 by
Chris from Bedford, NH
“How can a hotel that markets itself to business travelers right in the middle of the Financial District in Boston.” Feb 13, 2008 by
Barry from Norfolk, MA
“The hot water was not working when we arrived, but was fixed within a couple hours. We would definitely stay there again.” Feb 6, 2008 by
Bill from Richmond, CA
“Definitely a high quality hotel and I'd stay again. The location seems is a bit sterile (business district), but you're a short walk from Boston Common and Quincy Market. Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Copley Place, and North End are all within walking distance as well. Subway gets you to Harvard in no time at all. One downside is, it's a bit noisy. We had to listen to street construction outside, and amorous neighbors inside.” Feb 5, 2008 by
Scott from Dover, NH
“I stayed at this hotel after proposing to my fiancée. The people at the Hilton from the front desk to the concierge to the room service waiter took great care of me and went way above and beyond what I'd expected.” Jan 25, 2008 by
Susan from East Greenbush, NY
“We had a beautiful corner room that was huge. The room had two double beds and a sitting area. Easy walk to many attractions. Short walk to the T. Many pubs nearby.” Jan 25, 2008 by
Lisa from Portland, ME
“Overall, the hotel was great.” Jan 24, 2008 by
Sharon from San Francisco, CA
“Perfect location for touring north side of Boston. Many sightseeing points were within walking distance, although it was a very cold day and we didn't. The staff was very helpful with all of our requests.” Jan 22, 2008 by
Jim from Charleston, SC
“Overall, a very nice stay.” Jan 17, 2008 by
Tru from Roosevelt Island, NY
“It was a pretty decent hotel. The hotel appears to be operating without bellmen or doormen. If this is 4-Star hotel, where were they? I had a major bag and packages to schlep! Moreover, a mini-overview regarding the TV and TV internet system would have been helpful.” Jan 5, 2008 by
Jason from South Boston, MA
“On the first night someone came into our room around 3am snooping around. I recognized him as valet or bell staff. It was obvious he was trying to steal.” Jan 1, 2008 by
Karen from Brighton, CO
“The check in, front desk and housekeeping staff were excellent. They even changed our room to a king size bed. The room was excellent. I was disappointed that internet access in the guest rooms and business center were applied to a charge card only. Not very business friendly. This is the first hotel where I was not able to check in for my flight and print my boarding pass before arriving at the airport.” Dec 3, 2007 by
Claudio from Washington, DC
“Good hotel at a convenient location in Boston. Friendly staff. They first gave us a room that was already occupied (which seems a bit odd when rooms are managed electronically), but corrected the mistake by giving us a room upgrade. That's what I consider as good customer service!” Nov 29, 2007 by
Lance from Attleboro, MA
“Hotel is located in financial district of Boston away from usual tourist haunts but accessible by public transportation. Close to Quincy Market and North End for dining and to local neighborhood pubs. Location makes it quiet on weekends and not likely to be found by wandering tourists or their kids. Rooms very clean, spacious and comfortable. Would recommend to business and leisure travelers.” Nov 27, 2007 by
Walt from West Springfield, MA
“Excellent service from the time we checked-in. The room was larger than expected for the center of the city location. Very clean and comfortable!” Nov 27, 2007 by
Jill from Uxbridge, MA
“Parking expensive, nice place, small room, air got extremely dry and uncomfortable while sleeping.” Nov 21, 2007 by
Andrew from West Springfield, MA
“I've stayed in other hotels in Boston for the same price and same star level and this was one of the worst rooms Ive ever stayed in. I am surprised this room was at this star level because the room was tiny. There was no pool, hot tub, or spa in the hotel. There is no refrigerator or anything in the room and the TV was even low quality. The bathroom toilet handle snapped off and the drinking glasses in the room were chipped. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you want a quality hotel in Boston, look elsewhere.” Nov 20, 2007 by
Dennis from Cumberland, ME
“We thoroughly enjoyed our brief (overnight) stay. The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. We will happily recommend this hotel to friends and will definitely stay there again.” Nov 1, 2007 by
Bob from Sierra Madre, CA
“Clean, pleasant facility with a friendly staff. Room was clean and well stocked with amenities. Location is very near all financial district locations and adjacent tourist sights. I will be going back.” Nov 1, 2007 by
Lisa from Christiansted, VQ
“The hotel was very nice; the front desk staff was really friendly. I requested an upper level room because of other reviewers complaining of street noise. They put me on the top floor the 15th, no noise. The room was tiny and I was glad I was traveling alone w/o my husband and 2 children. The bathroom was also small, way too small vanity. I couldn't get the heat to turn up no matter how high I set the dial, and the hot water was not so hot. But the bed was super comfy! My friends from Boston had trouble finding the hotel, but the location is great.” Oct 31, 2007 by
Fred from Williamsville, NY
“Friendly staff, short walking distance from Quincy market and tours. Also can walk to the north end of Boston and beacon hill. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.” Oct 11, 2007 by
Craig from Bellmore, NY
“This hotel added a touch of luxury to our trip, at an affordable price. The location could not have been better. I would recommend this hotel highly.” Oct 10, 2007 by
Lara from Mclean, VA
“The Hilton Boston Financial District is a beautiful hotel in easy walking distance to many Boston attractions including Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, Downtown Crossing and Boston Commons. The T is also easily accessible to explore Cambridge and Back bay. The hotel itself has the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in a hotel. The bathrooms were beautifully appointed and clean. The room we stayed in was a little small, placed on the corner and with only a view of the inside of the building. Room service was pricey but of a good quality. The staff, while helpful, was a bit stuffy at times. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.” Oct 10, 2007 by
Pam from Columbus, OH
“Spacious rooms for a large city! Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable. Within easy walking distance of "t", Quincy Market and Boston Harbor. Great value for downtown!” Hotel Representatives:
