- Lovely room and bathroom.
- We couldn't find it by car or foot.
“The hotel was very nice. The lobby had a commercial feel, but the hallways, room and bathroom were lovely. I asked the front desk about coffee in the am and they said there was a coffee maker in the room. I couldn't find it. I called the front desk and a man told me there aren't coffee makers in the rooms and I should go to the third or tenth floor in the morning. Then he said I should just go to the front desk for the coffee. In the morning I called to cancel my wake-up called and asked about the coffee again and I was told there was a coffee maker in the cabinet, and there was. What was that about? Overall the hotel was lovely, even though it was very hard to find by foot and by car. We got lost driving to the hotel and returning by foot in the evening. I would stay there again for such a great price.”

- Staff was unhelpful with a mechanical problem.
“The management put us in a room that they knew had a broken air conditioner. To compensate they put in a floor fan and rigged the air conditioner unit to run at 72 degrees sometimes. I asked to be put in another room and was told none were available. Also all the bathroom facilities ran very slowly making it uncomfortable for our stay.”

- You needed a key to use the elevator.
“Everything was excellent except the customer service. Since I was traveling with a male colleague and I am a married female, we needed two beds. Even though I called ahead and was assured this would be available, when we got there they only had rooms with one bed. When I asked them to check for other rooms, they told me nothing was available and gave me an attitude.”

“We stayed 2 nights for our daughter's 1st birthday. Close to everything. Parking is super expensive but we found parking at 75 State St. parking garage for $13/day. Overall a terrific hotel.”

- Air conditioners in rooms warm air, hallways very cold air, go figure!
“I myself had to go around the counter to get it myself and was only told "Im sorry". I thought a bottle of wine offered would have been nice! The beds are comfy but the room was very warm, whereas the hallways were very cold.”

- There is no free internet service.
“I stayed here with two young children. It was very convenient for walking to the Aquarium, Quincy Market, the North End, and whale watching. The staff was warm and welcoming and very nice to my children. The room was lovely and the beds very comfortable. We would definitely return.”

- The simple yet sleek decor, the location.
- We liked everything!
“This hotel is just steps away from the Harbor. The staff is superior! The hotel is clean, elegant and we loved the fresh coffee in the lobby every morning! We would stay here every time we visit Boston. PS Boston is fantastic, you do not need a car, just take the T and from the airport we highly recommend the water taxi service.”

- The concierge and valet were very accommodating and nice.
- Business center wasn't free, internet was $22 for 30 minutes.
“We checked in without a single delay. Our room was ready although we were a couple of hours early. I had called ahead to request a few things for the room and to my surprise the hotel exceeded my requests by giving us a huge corner room. Even the bathroom had a window which is very unusual in most hotels! The only glitch was on our last day (Sunday) we came back to our hotel room at about 5:30 and the staff was just arriving there to clean it. We waited about 15-20 minutes in the hallway. Other than that and the fact that accessing the internet was extremely overpriced, the service and room for this hotel was amazing!”

- Hilton was the nice, then the Omni Parker (a bit small but nice), and then the Wyndam in Portland Me - all were very nice.
- Both the Hilton and the Wyndam had a musty smell covered by a perfume scent. Omni had a clean fresh smell.
“All very tastefully decorated and very clean - Hilton had a huge room and very nice inside. Only thing drawback was the initial smell in the Hilton and Wyndam.”

- This hotel was very close to Quincy Market and Boston Common.
- We had to ask for our room to be cleaned.
“We arrived on Friday afternoon. The staff was very helpful while checking in. Saturday we returned to our room after a day of walking around at 3 pm. Our room had not been cleaned. I went to call the front desk and the telephone did not work. I went downstairs and alerted the front desk clerk and they saw to it that our room was cleaned immediately. I did not expect to have to ask for our room to be cleaned at a 4 star hotel.”

- Bed sheets were soiled and disgusting.
“We were in a very small room, although promised by the hotel rep that the rooms do get smaller - not sure how much smaller it could have been. The beds were comfortable, but, on the second night (after a sheet change that day by cleaning staff), we pulled the bed down to find a large, disgusting stain on the bed. I called the front desk, who was happy to put us in another room for the night. Definitely was not impressed, considering this incident. I have stayed at a lot of 2 and 3 star hotels and have had no issues with clean sheets, while the Hilton, a 4 star hotel, provided soiled sheets.”

“I stayed at this hotel for the weekend to see a Red Sox game. While it was away from the Stadium (about a $14.00 cab ride) it was a block away from Long Wharf, the Aquarium and Fanuiel Hall. Two T stops were close by for access. I would recommend this hotel for the weekend traveler as it was in the Financial District which is not that busy on the weekends, yet close enough to all the attractions Boston has to offer.”

- We were looking for last minute room in the Quincy Market area - perfect result.
“Hilton family of hotels has always been my travel preference. The Boston site provided my wife and me the perfect spot to reach our quick getaway destination - Quincy Market. It also provided a great place to rest after venturing out in the area. Although in and out in a days time, we will look to return here in the near future.”

- Reservation staff not helpful, housekeeping staff terrible.
“Our stay here was very unpleasant. Reservation staff was not at all helpful in answering questions about parking. We never had any housekeeping service. When we returned and found that our room had not been cleaned, we complained and they offered to bring us what we needed. We asked for drinking glasses. They brought up 2 soaking wet large wine glasses that had clearly just been rinsed - not washed - because they were still filthy. I would not stay in this hotel again.”

- It was the perfect location to Quincy market where we went out for the night.
- A neighbor yelled at us when we got back. But that was quick and not their fault :).
“A group of us went into Boston for a Bachelorette party. We were shocked when we saw how nice the hotel was for the price we paid. It was a walkalbe distance from Quincy market (in heels and everything!). Everyone who worked there was extremely nice and we really enjoyed ourselves!”

- Excellent location & modern features.
- There wasn't anything we didn't like about this hotel.
“Staff was polite & accommodating. We arrived early & checked our luggage with the concierge. The location of the hotel was excellent - only 3 blocks to Quincy Market & Fanuiel Hall in one direction & a few blocks more in the other direction to downtown Boston & Boston Commons. The room was small, but with well-appointed modern features. Very comfortable king-sized bed.”

- Housekeeping service was not up to par.
“Housekeeping did not meet expectations of this level of hotel. Location was excellent, however it is near several Pubs and the crowds can be heard until the early morning hours. Overall really enjoyed my stay.”

- Very convenient to Subway, waterfront and Downtown.
- Would have been nice to have chairs in room since room was very large.
