  • Location, and the decor.
  • Room was very small and appeared to be a old maintenance room, cold and had a twin bed that was not big enough for two people.

“Very small room, not big enough for two, good location would stay again if traveling by myself. We were told we would not have a twin bed they are for single travelers and that is what they gave us, they said it was booked through a third party.”

  • The Concierge staff was extremely helpful.
  • The room was extremely small making it tough to move around.

“The location of the hotel was great for your needs. The staff was great and attentive. the only glitch was that we did not get a wake up call like requested. Lucky we woke up in time to still catch our flight.”

  • It was clean and location good.
  • Does not qualify as 4 stars based upon room.

“Some of the rooms are tiny and single bed. Rooms can have queen beds, smaller than a queen. For a 4 star hotel, the size of bed should be considered.”

  • The hotel was very historical and was in an amazing location.
  • Smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in.

“I was promised a king bed when I called to confirm my reservation. When we got to the hotel, we had a double bed. Our room was tiny, so tiny that there wasn't anywhere to put my suitcase. We had a terribly uncomfortable bed (slopped to one side) and the bathroom was only big enough for one (small) person. Also, no coffee maker in the room.”

  • Very convenient for downtown foot travel.
  • My vehicle was vandalized (costing me $ 745.00) in the public parking garage the hotel staff guided me to.

“Hotel experience was great. The 5 hours my vehicle was parked in broad daylight in the hotel recommended parking garage was all it took for someone to vandalize and attempt to steal it.”

  • Atmosphere and location
  • Room was small. Only had one full bed. They did upgrade us for the second night.

“The location of this hotel is within walking distance of many of the wonderful sights in Boston. The staff were friendly. Everything was clean. Hotel is full of history. Many choices of lounges, restaurants, and a work out room.”

  • The most excellent bed I've had at any hotel.
  • Don't expect a view from any room at the hotel.

“The Parker House has been completely renovated with all the historic aspects remaining. I was tempted to strip the bed to find out who made the mattress. It was the most comfortable nights sleep I've ever had at any hotel. The staff was available whenever you needed them, but you didn't find yourself tripping over them.”

no more
than a category 3 - OMNI or no. Bad experience. I have been very pleased prior to this trip (the boston hotel and Mke. Airport hotel - 2 for 2 -both dumps.”

  • Great location.
  • Rooms were too small!

“This hotel is in a great location to see Boston and the many historic sites. The Omni Parker is also a historic hotel. The rooms were freshly decorated, but in our room, with two full beds, there was barely room to walk around the beds. The rooms were very small.”

  • Good location
  • Last hotel left who is still trying to turn a 6 figure income off of phone charges.

“Over-rated hotel with a great location. Hotel is right on the Freedom Trail. Walking distance to Fanuiel Hall. Hotel makes all their money by charging customers to upgrade from a mediocre room to a mediocre room with two small double beds. $1.50 to make a local phone call is absolutely ridiculous. Would never go back at any price. Hotel staff nickel and dimes you to death.”

  • Friendly staff and good location.
  • Extremely small rooms a little bigger than Japanese business man's hotel, very dark.

“The hotel was nice, comfortable with very friendly staff. It is an old hotel and rooms were a little on the dark side. It has a convenient location. The main issue I had was I was traveling with my daughter and they didn't have rooms with two beds and the roll away didn't fit in most of the rooms. It would be fine for the business traveler or couple.”

“Overall a wonderful stay if I had been just hanging out. Business traveling in this hotel is a challenge. They charge you an arm and leg for the internet/printer 6.95 per 15 minutes!! WiFi in the lobby you have to drag all of your stuff downstairs and sit in these formal chairs. No late night working in your Pj's in the safety of your room here!”

  • Beds were comfortable. Room clean.
  • Noisy, very small room and bathroom, no garage facility, fees for parking should be listed with room costs.

“The room was small and the bathroom even smaller. It was noisy with guests in the hall at 1.30 am, 3:40 am, then getting woke up at 6:00 am when the guest next door left his room. Having to pay for parking on top of the cost of the room is outrageous! The cost of snacks and meals was again outrageous. $6.00 for cereal, $3.00 for M&M's no thanks. I don't care how much money anyone has, a penny is still worth only one cents!”

  • The location was great, as were the concierge and other hotel staff. Beds were great too.
  • The room was small (but the beds and linens were great).

“The hotel was very nice. Old and nicely restored. The (standard) room was very small, but it was OK; It had everything we needed. It had lovely beds with fine linens. The lobby area was great with free WiFi access. The Last Hurrah bar, off the lobby, was warm and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and the Concierge was great. I would definitely stay here again, especially for a priceline price.”
