  • It was a beautiful historic and clean hotel.

“It was a pleasant stay the rooms were a bit small though and I was dispointed that there was not a swimming pool. But for the most part we really enjoyed our stay.”

  • Good location
  • Last hotel left who is still trying to turn a 6 figure income off of phone charges.

“Over-rated hotel with a great location. Hotel is right on the Freedom Trail. Walking distance to Fanuiel Hall. Hotel makes all their money by charging customers to upgrade from a mediocre room to a mediocre room with two small double beds. $1.50 to make a local phone call is absolutely ridiculous. Would never go back at any price. Hotel staff nickel and dimes you to death.”

  • Friendly staff and good location.
  • Extremely small rooms a little bigger than Japanese business man's hotel, very dark.

“The hotel was nice, comfortable with very friendly staff. It is an old hotel and rooms were a little on the dark side. It has a convenient location. The main issue I had was I was traveling with my daughter and they didn't have rooms with two beds and the roll away didn't fit in most of the rooms. It would be fine for the business traveler or couple.”

“2 male adults were expected to sleep in one full bed. We complained once we got to the room and were then allowed a roll-a-way as well. Also, called well in advance to notify hotel that two beds would be needed and were told that my request would not be granted.”

  • What a beautiful, historic hotel!
  • There was nothing I didn't like.

“What a wonderful place to stay. Located in the heart of Boston's historic district, the hotel made getting around very convenient, and the hotel itself had a charm that felt historic but very well kept. Lots of conveniences. I wish we stayed there longer.”

  • The decor and the staff were excellent.
  • No WiFi in the room? Please this 2009.

“Overall a wonderful stay if I had been just hanging out. Business traveling in this hotel is a challenge. They charge you an arm and leg for the internet/printer 6.95 per 15 minutes!! WiFi in the lobby you have to drag all of your stuff downstairs and sit in these formal chairs. No late night working in your Pj's in the safety of your room here!”

  • Beds were comfortable. Room clean.
  • Noisy, very small room and bathroom, no garage facility, fees for parking should be listed with room costs.

“The room was small and the bathroom even smaller. It was noisy with guests in the hall at 1.30 am, 3:40 am, then getting woke up at 6:00 am when the guest next door left his room. Having to pay for parking on top of the cost of the room is outrageous! The cost of snacks and meals was again outrageous. $6.00 for cereal, $3.00 for M&M's no thanks. I don't care how much money anyone has, a penny is still worth only one cents!”

  • The location was great, as were the concierge and other hotel staff. Beds were great too.
  • The room was small (but the beds and linens were great).

“The hotel was very nice. Old and nicely restored. The (standard) room was very small, but it was OK; It had everything we needed. It had lovely beds with fine linens. The lobby area was great with free WiFi access. The Last Hurrah bar, off the lobby, was warm and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and the Concierge was great. I would definitely stay here again, especially for a priceline price.”

  • Great location! Short walk from the Government Central T station.
  • The room and the bed were too small.

“I booked this hotel in the last minute and it was considerably more expensive than the other times I had booked for the same destination. When I checked in I realized the bed was a double which barely fit two people. The room was also crowded in Boston standard. Overall okay but did not like it.”

  • Amazing location and historical impact. Restaurant is 5-star.
  • Small room, but beautiful and clean!

“We called to ask a room with 2 beds, and were told that would be the case. When we got there we had a room with one queen bed, and the front desk told us there were no 2-bed rooms available. Luckily, my college age daughter didn't mind, but if her Dad had been the one to be with her it would have been a problem. Otherwise it was an absolutely wonderful stay - filled with fun events and great atmosphere for a stressed college student get - away!”

  • Location.
  • Quality isn't what they make it appear.

“The location is excellent, but the room quality is lacking. They did a great job remodeling it so it's appealing to the eye, but yeah the quality isn't there. Best explanation of that is when plastic surgery is performed on a 75 year old person. The outside might look more appealing, but the guts are still 75 yrs old.

  • Within walking distance of many area attractions.
  • Old building, thin walls, awaken at 2am by the bar crowd coming back.

“Attractive hotel in a great setting.
Awaken by the room next door at 2am talking, laughing, cursing loudly. Though, staff took quick measure when I went to complain about it. However awaken again at 8am by the same room. Not a pleasant sleeping arrangement. Hotel has 3 different eateries. However, the menus are mainly similar and within $2 of each other on all selections.”

  • The location allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted in Boston.
  • Noise from the next room - young family w/children, not trying to be loud.

“I liked everything about the Omni Parker House from the room decor to the speedy elevators to the helpful desk staff. While modest in size compared to other places we've stayed, the overall feel was comfortable and appealing. Only complaint was the sound of children's voices from next door - ordinary, speaking voices traveled through the walls.”

  • The hotel was close to all the attractions that I wanted to see in the city.
  • The hotel charged me for checking to voicemail messages that weren't mine.

“The hotel was nice. I asked about the double beds and was told the hotel was at capacity After that I asked if they would be able to at least bring a roll away bed. I was told yes and that there would be no charge and then I was told we couldn't get the roll away because they would have to carry it up some stairs. Also, the ice machine didn't work on my floor and the heating unit in the room had exposed wires. Not dangerous for adults but could cause a lot of trouble for children.”

  • From the concierge to the service staff, I found the customer service exceeded my expectations.
  • I thought the lobby could be maintained better. I saw empty glasses and a bit of trash on the carpet in the elevator and in the lobby.

“The rooms are elegantly designed with flat screen televisions, heavy blinds and a very comfortable king size bed. The rooms are a bit smaller than I expected but for two adults, it was satisfactory. The bathroom was quaint and the service was impeccable. I ordered clam chowder to my room, and was pleasantly surprised. I was appreciative of the concierge's excellent recommendations (and umbrella!) and concern for our comfort. Overall, I was very happy. The location is also perfect for the Boston tourist.”
