“Very nice, upscale, boutique-style hotel. A lot of staff to help in any situation you are never waiting. Very modern decor. Over all a great little hotel right in the heart of downtown Boston- and for the price we got through Priceline- unbeatable!” Sep 30, 2009 by
Martha from Atlanta,GA

“It was a wonderful hotel to stay in for 4 days. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and I don't think you could have beaten the location. The room was very clean and had great bath products, towels and linens.” Oct 16, 2008 by

“Hotel is well situated between Quincy Market and Boston Commons, about two or three blocks from Emerson College. Space was sufficiently, clean, and upscale. Wireless internet access easily accomplished. Lobby is small with limited staff. The only problem was the dogs and the dogs yapping well into the night. I would recommend it.” Oct 3, 2008 by
Mark
“One of the nice hotels in Boston. Located right on Beacon Hill, close to everything in Boston.” Sep 28, 2008 by
Paul
“Crisp and clean. Friendly and personable front desk. Chic room and bathroom.” Sep 6, 2008 by
Gus L. from Brooklyn, NY
“The hotel is in a prime location in Boston. A very short walk from transportation and walk able attractions. The room was of high quality and the service was nice. However, I left my shoes with the doorman for the complimentary overnight shoe shine and the next morning they were delivered without even being shined. I think someone forgot. That is a lack of attention to detail that disappointed me. Otherwise my stay was quite comfortable.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Barbara from San Diego, CA
“Second time there. Red carpet treatment when I arrived as I was a repeat guest. Upgraded to top floor with fabulous view. Good location. Wine hour is a nice touch. Very accommodating staff.” Sep 4, 2008 by

“Great location, superior style and decor, nice restaurant and very helpful staff.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Bill from Taylors, SC
“A very nice hotel, great room, friendly staff. I did not use room service or the hotel restaurant so I can't comment on that. Location is very central and close to public transportation but at night the neighborhood is not the greatest.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Liz from Chicago, IL
“Excellent location right on freedom train and easy access to subway. Excellent staff and good amenities.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Kara from New York, NY
“I loved the hotel and the location.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Linda from Huntingdon Valley, PA
“I am generally a solo traveler and boutique hotels are my favorite places to stay. Nine Zero is at the top of my list after my two-night stay. The accommodations were lovely and clean (my top requirement in a hotel). The staff was exceedingly well-trained. They were all courteous, helpful and friendly. I couldn't ask for a better hotel and better service.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Mike from Barrington, RI
“Great location, very friendly staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. My wife lost a piece of jewelry in the sink and someone came to our room within ten minutes to retrieve it. Cannot wait to come back.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Jim from Anchorage, AK
“Great location. Very clean. During a rain storm, the staff was offering to go out and buy umbrellas for us to use. Very knowledgeable concierge.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Ky from Santa Teresa, NM
“Trendy hotel with a fantastic central location to the subway. Walking distance to upscale shopping, Financial District, Pier, historic Boston, etc. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are a tad small but we only slept in them. We were out all day so the size of the room wasn't a factor.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Jason from Haddonfield, NJ
“Over all for the price it was perfect. Most of the staff was great. One thing make sure everything works 100% every time before guests checks in takes two minutes. I would have order breakfast room service more if the maid had replaced the order before you go to bed door thing. The two time I did it came early waking me up and catching me off guard and the second time late making run tight on time to get to my business which was the main reason to save time and spend 30$ for eggs and coffee. Over all I enjoyed my stay a your hotel and when in Boston again would certainly stay. Thanks.” Jul 24, 2008 by
George from Toronto, ON CA
“The Nine Zero is a modern four-star hotel a stone's throw from the Freedom Trail. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was exceedingly helpful. We would go back.” Jul 15, 2008 by
Laura from Kalamazoo, MI
“I loved everything about the hotel except for the fact we needed beds to accommodate the 4 of us and they were unable to do that. It was a bit of a bummer.” Jul 12, 2008 by
Bonnie from Holiday, FL
“The staff was very accommodating/gave good directions/recommendations for food/shortest routes to attractions.” May 8, 2008 by
Jeff from Greer, SC
“Queen premier room was beautifully decorated, staff was very helpful and the hotel location was perfect with walking distance to all the sights of Boston.” Mar 18, 2008 by
Kathy from Medina, WA
“It does not get much better than the Intercontinental. Location is within walking distance of everything you want to see and do with almost immediate access to freeways; terrific ambience, beautiful decor, helpful and friendly staff, nicely laid out rooms. We would definitely stay there next time we are in Boston.” Mar 5, 2008 by
Kevin from Bedford, NH
“Excellent small hotel with outstanding restaurant.” Feb 19, 2008 by
Susan from Fairfield, CT
“I enjoyed staying at this hotel very much with just one exception. Inconsiderate guests would slam doors instead of gently closing them. If hotel could fix does so they couldn't slam, would be more peaceful stay. Not hotels fault but guests.” Aug 3, 2007 by
Ron from Radford, VA
“The Nine-Zero at 90 Tremont St. Boston was a bit hard to find by car for the first-timer. Our car and dress did not inspire the staff to direct us to valet parking at first. However, once I entered the lobby, the staff was courteous and helpful. Our car was evidently not easily accessible once checked (they are kept elsewhere), so we had to unload everything, which was a bit awkward due to our lack of planning. The room was beautiful, comfortable and quiet with a view of the state house dome, and part of Tremont St. From the hotel as launch point, my (significant other) and I were able were able to walk to several attractions, like Boston Common, the walking tour that departs from the visitor's center there, and the state house, where all of the trolley tours come though. The restaurant was upscale, and we only stopped in for a snack one day. It was outside dinner hours so we ate at the bar. She had a salad and a drink; I had a sandwich and two beers. Over fifty dollars ok, so maybe that's 4-star. The staffs were uniformly helpful and friendly from the beginning to end of our stay. Dress nice so you don't feel silly on arrival like we did in our Poice concert tees, and enjoy!” Aug 2, 2007 by
Rachael from Milwaukee, WI
“Hotel 90 is fantastic. It is ultra classy and the staff was wonderful. I would pay full price to stay here!” Jul 31, 2007 by
Leslie from Tavernier, FL
“It was a very enjoyable experience and we would certainly book it again.” Jul 30, 2007 by
Rose from Sun Prairie, WI
“We really enjoyed staying here. The staff was very friendly and helpful in so many ways. The location was perfect for walking and getting around the city. It was so close to so many things. We'd love to go back.” Jul 24, 2007 by
Angelo from Burnaby, BC CA
“Overall, the hotel was very good. The staff was helpful and well informed. Parking at the hotel needs to be made more affordable for guests.” Jul 21, 2007 by
Stephanie from Somerset, NJ
“Very nice location and comfortable rooms. Staffs were very helpful and informative. I felt that they tried too hard at times to assist (i.e. taking bags right out of my hand and keys to my car when we were not parking the car at that time). They kept talking over us trying to help which seemed a little forceful.” Jul 5, 2007 by
Susan from New York, NY
“I might have liked this hotel had I been traveling for leisure or business alone. But the room was too small for even two people, let alone a couple and a baby. There was only space in the room for a bed (queen size, not king), desk and desk chair. If two people wanted to sit down at the same time, one of them had to sit on the bed! In addition, I was not pleased to find out that the hotel accepts pets. Although our room did not smell of animals, it had a pad and very perfume-y lemon smell, as if some sort of air-freshener had been sprayed to mask other scents. I tried to change rooms, but ours was the last available at the hotel. The location of the hotel was nice: just across the street from a historic church and graveyard and steps from the Boston Common. But, the only window in my room looked out on an airshaft, which made the room dark. In addition, the only closet in the room was part of a built-in shelf assembly. So our suitcase had to be out in the room, taking up valuable floor space. Space on shelves was wasted on an elaborate display of ingredients for making flavored martinis, like appletinis. I would think that appeals especially at minibar prices were too small a percentage of the hotel's clients to really be profitable. We were so displeased with this hotel, at a four-star level (it should be a three-start) that we left very early in the morning rather than stay until checkout time. We just couldn't tolerate another minute in that small space with a 4.5-month-old baby. On our last trip, we got the Intercontinental Hotel in the Waterfront/Financial District and loved the huge room.” Jun 28, 2007 by
Zack from New York, NY
“More of a boutique hotel feel than a true 4 star - but felt in the 4 star quality range. Smallish but well appointed rooms with new fixtures - and for Boston hotel rooms, they were actually well sized. Very friendly desk staff. Free wireless internet. Evening wine reception. Fantastic location near park. Comfortable bed, though only queen size. Would definitely stay here again.” Apr 6, 2007 by
Holly from Fernandina Beach, FL
“We would definitely stay at the nine zero hotels again. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. My husband and I were quite impressed when we walked into the hotels' lobby and when we walked into our hotel room. Art deco meets eco friendly was my first impression. The bed could have been a little more comfortable though.” Mar 28, 2007 by
Lindsay from Auburn, ME
“This hotel was very conveniently located, but if you missed turning in, it was very difficult to turn around and find again. The staff was very friendly and helpful; the valet parking was expensive but necessary in Boston. Truly pet-friendly with snacks by the entrance, and just a block away from Boston common for walks. The bed was very soft and comfortable. Only thing is that I think the room was smaller than the advertised 350 sq ft.” Mar 21, 2007 by
Martha from Lee, NH
“Might give it a try again but would know enough to ask for a different room. Service in the dining room needs work but the bar staff was excellent.” Mar 20, 2007 by
Jonathan from Portsmouth, NH
“Overall very nice and convenient.” Mar 9, 2007 by
Timothy from Columbia, PA
“Overall, everything was top notch, however, couldn't figure out who designed that bathroom! I was in Room 1807 for any distinctive reference. Poor bathroom design with lack of features that didn't match rest of room.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Nov 15, 2006 by

“Overall a positive stay, with great bedding and bath products. The room service tray sat in the hallway from the time we placed it there until we made a comment about it two days later at check out. The location is excellent.” Oct 4, 2006 by
Mark from Clifton Park, NY
“Attentive staff and great rooms. Restaurant has great food but pricey. Overall great stay.” Oct 4, 2006 by
Ursula from Greenwich, CT
“Let me begin by saying that the only thing that detracted from our stay was the location of the hotel. In the grand scheme of things, it's a minor thing as the hotel is in an ideal location in Boston to walk to pretty much everything in the city. However, a warning - getting there by car is a trial! Oh, and a forewarning, GPS barely works in Boston. Other than that, our stay was perfect. We were able to check-in early, the staff was very helpful and friendly and we even had a staff member (thanks Akeem!) who got on our cell phone to direct a friend to the hotel when they go lost. The rooms are modern, clean, comfortable and a good size, but not overly large. Valet parking is almost a must if you have baggage and that was $35/nt., but if you try and park anywhere else, it'll be about the same. The bar and restaurant (Spire) is an up-scale experience, but everything that my party had was delicious and service was prompt. An overall wonderful experience - I only wish I could afford it EVERY time we go to Boston! :)” Sep 6, 2006 by
Grace from Mahopac, NY
“This hotel was a beautiful, sophisticated, entertaining, impeccable service. We brought our Wheaton terrier and they treated him like royalty.” Aug 16, 2006 by
Robin from Scotch Plains, NJ
“A new hotel with latest communications and modern furnishings. Beds were extremely comfortable and room layout spacious and efficient. Staff always polite and attentive and the hotel bar is a great place to meet.” Aug 2, 2006 by
Sabrina from King, NC
“Modern decor. Rooms are quite small for a 4-star hotel. Complimentary newspapers run out quickly. Poor housekeeping service. Check room charges carefully, ours had mistakes. This hotel is more like a 3-star than a 4.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.
