- The staff was friendly.
- The room was musty smelling and the furniture is old and very beat up. Black crumb looking things in the bottom of the tub.
“While the staff was friendly and helpful, the facility itself is outdated. The furniture was all scratched up and the room was dingy. There was a substance that looked ugly all over the bottom of the bath tub. This hotel is in need of updating. I have not stayed in a Holiday Inn before and after this experience will not again!”

- It was clean, updated, and the staff was friendly. Also, you could walk to everything!
- The bathroom in our room was small, and you have to pay $36 / day for parking!
“We had a king room on the 11th floor. They made me think the furnishings would be outdated, but we were pleasantly surprised. Granite & tile bathroom, comfortable bed, updated bedding, and an awesome view of the Prudential building & the Charles River. The only negative would be the small bathroom, 1 person barely fit. When closing the door it skims the toilet thats how cramped it was. Continental breakfast was also not included.”

- I liked the free WiFi, the location, the beds.
- Casheda at the front desk flew off the handle when I questioned a phone charge on my bill.
“This hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance of everything once you make it up and over Beacon Hill. The hotel offers free WiFi and the beds are especially comfortable. But I can't recommend this hotel because I was berated by Casheda at the front desk for simply questioning a phone charge on my bill.”

- The maid was honest; the hotel replaced a non-working coffeemaker; and
the valet service was excellent.

- Business center had only two computers available.
“The staff was not only attentive, but numerous. The street entrance felt secure and well manned. A back parking lot door was not monitored by someone, but you needed a key to get in this way. The parking garage is not owned by the hotel. It was well lit, open and $32 for the night. The room had a comfortable king bed, but the bathroom was very small. It appeared they had to shave just a hair off the front of the toilet in order for the door to pass. It was clean and quiet with good blinds for the windows.”

- Beds were comfortable and hotel was close to T.
- The bathroom was too small.
“The hotel lobby is very nice. The bar and restaurant were ok, but nothing great. The parking fee was quite expensive. The bathroom was too small - we could not open door all the way. The drapes could not close properly. The shower curtain could not close properly. The beds were comfy. Everything else was just average.”

- Friendly staff, decent room.

“The staff was very friendly, and the hotel offered free Wi-Fi, which I and my friends enjoyed. I was disappointed that the pool was outdoor and that there was no hot tub, but I wouldn't really have had time to enjoy that, anyhow. A little more stringent attention to making the rooms spotless, a heated pool and/or hot tub, and a free continental breakfast would make this hotel a must stay.”

- The location was wonderful! Hotel room was a decent size and it was clean.
- Bathroom door could not swing open fully as it would get caught on the toilet. It was a tight fit!
“The Holiday Inn at Beacon Hill is good value for any trip to Boston. It is the location that really works for the hotel. It isn't luxury by any means, some of the furniture is showing some wear and tear and our bathroom door could not open fully as would catch on the toilet (really tight fit). However, the room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable! The location is great, with the Subway really close and everything within walking distance it was a great place to stay.”

- Great location close to CVS/Longs, grocery store, Subway station.
- Check in is late 4pm.
“The hotel was much closer than expected to the major attractions (Boston commons, Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall, Copley square, Back bay). I don't think I've ever stayed at a Holiday Inn this nice. The rooms were great and they had a business room with two computers for guest (so I could do my online flight check in), gym, laundry room. Taxis were waiting outside for quick access and they held out bags for most of the day after checkout because our flight was at night. Overall, good experience.”

“I was given bad information about the parking by the hotel staff. I almost had my car towed and ended up paying twice as much as expected to park. When I approached the hotel manager he was short with me and told me to take up my issue with the parking lot manager. This was unhelpful and unprofessional because his staff misinformed me. Not the parking staff.”

- Valet parking charged $15 for being 15 minutes late.
“Met my expectations for a Holiday Inn. Room was clean and good size. Hotel granted my request for 2 double beds. If you stay here don't use the valet parking. Park in the garage adjacent to the hotel. Valet is $36 and you must get your car by 2 pm. Park it yourself and its $32 per 24hrs.”

- The furnishings were older and shabby. Torn carpets in common areas and room. Beds very uncomfortable and not new. Parking costs exorbitant.
