- Great location, easy on site parking, good lobby bar, close proximity to shopping.
- Was charged for honor bar items we did not use, found clothing articles left in closet, needs to upgrade TV.
“The Westin Copley has the great benefit of location and convenience. The rooms have a spa feel with high quality linens, some special touches in the baths, and a modern decor. We were disappointed to find the room did not have a flat screen TV (I just recently returned from a Holiday Inn in Minnesota that had a flat screen TV) and to find a pair of someone's undergarments on the shelf in the closet.”

- Good location, right in Prudential Center, exits to Copley Square & Boylston, Newbury street.
- Nothing much, it is a good hotel.

“Smack dab in the middle of Back Bay, this hotel is very convenient to almost anything in Boston. The accommodations are grand, the service helpful, and the beds. Fit for a king! I checked in with my girlfriend on a Saturday morning with a wedding in the afternoon. Not only did the hotel allow us to check in early (so we could nap) but we also discovered a great mall connected to the hotel that allowed my girlfriend to do some last minute shoe shopping! A great find.”

- Automatic charges applied to bill for mini-bar items that were not used.
“We contacted the hotel to notify them of our late arrival. We checked in after 11pm; our room was ready and waiting. Our room was on the nineteenth floor. It offered beautiful views of the city, luxurious sleeping accommodations. Our only complaint was the hotel's assumption that we had consumed a bottle of water from the bar in the room.”

- Connected to an indoor upscale mall.
- $80 of mini bar charges accidentally added to our bill, removed when we pointed out that we had not used at all.
“Conveniently located, short distance from the green line of the T, next to the Boston Public Library. The Marriott and Westin are hotel anchors for an indoor shopping mall, nice to grab breakfast at Au Bon Pain or Starbucks without going outdoors. Well furnished workout and pool area. 38 floors, but plenty of speedy elevators, only 1 time had to wait more than seconds. Bar was too crowded to find seating even with the overflow into the lobby on a Friday night. Rooms quiet, comfortable, great view. Overall favorite Boston hotel to date.”

- It was a great location, beautifully appointed, and amazingly comfortable bed/linens.
- Our dinner at on of the hotel restaurants was very pricey and less than outstanding meals.
“This hotel was really wonderful. Our room had a fabulous view of the city and Boston Harbor. The room was lovely and the bed was sumptuous! Very high quality linens that just oozed with luxury. The location was perfect for shopping, walking on Newbury street and dining. The hotel spa was excellent and the entire hotel staff was extraordinarily gracious.”

“Overall the experience met my expectations. Of course that was a disaster, but that was what I expected. I think that only the most ridiculously upscale establishments can follow through with special requests. Minor issues, but telltale. Other than that, typical chain hotel room with great things around and attached to it. Great location.”

“Hotel was overbooked and we were placed in an adjoining suite of the governor's suite in two trundle beds that were rolled in. The next day we were moved to a junior suite and offered one night of valet parking free ($40). Upon checkout we had a valet parking charge of $120 for three days. When our car was brought out of the parking garage it was left practically in the street with the door open. We asked the valet if he was going to bring the car into the hotel driveway and he said it was our problem. We then went back in and they credited us another $40 for the rude service. Too much drama!”

- The hot tub smelled badly. The pool was not as big as I expected.

- Staff very friendly; beautiful room; free river-view upgrade.
“The Westin at Copley Place is a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. We were very pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade to a Riverview room without even asking for an upgrade. At check-in, our two children, ages 4 and 6, each received a Westin Kids Club bag with a safari hat, several post cards, and crayons in it. They loved it and are still wearing the hats. The hotel is very convenient to get to by car, and is very close to the subway station.”

- The "heavenly bed" has such luxurious linens and feels so crisp and clean.
- The hotel building itself is too tall for my taste.
“The Westin Copley in Boston is centrally located to many city landmarks and universities. Best of all it is interconnected with the mall so you have accessibility to shops, restaurants and coffee houses - even in inclement weather, you don't have to go outside. I also love the fact that you can easily walk over to Newbury St. Parking is such a hassle there since it draws large crowds of people.”

- The radio was impossible to figure out. There was no listing of local radio stations. The drains in the bathroom made odd sounds at odd times.
“The Westin is a high end hotel, with well trained staff. The Copley Plaza Westin is no exception. The location is great and the rooms have good views. The rooms are not as soundproof as they might be and the bathroom drains seem to make sounds when upstairs bathrooms are being used. The in room radio was not of high quality, so did not function well. There are at least 5 NPR stations in Boston and not one of them could be received on the radio.”

- Coffee pot was missing & bathroom was not clean.
“The room was spacious and comfortable. My main complaint was the door that connected our room to the adjacent room was paper-thin. I was awoken at 2:30am by a phone conversation of the guest in the next room (it sounded as if he was sitting at the foot of our bed). The air vents in the room were caked with dust and the coffee pot was missing. While the location of the hotel was great, I feel too many details were overlooked to justify a 4-star rating.”

“The hotel was accommodating. I enjoyed my stay there. The room was nice, and spacious. I wish there were less-expensive restaurant choices available and free internet access. My experience, although, was very positive.”

- Good accommodations. Great location. Great value. We had a great weekend.
- The room was not as attractive as I expected.
“We had a wonderful romantic weekend and that's all that matters to me. The room was very comfortable. I just expected a little more from the Westin.”

- It was very comfortable and clean.
- The prices of the food. The prices should encourage people to eat at the hotel. We ate only once.
“It was one of the finest hotels that I've had an opportunity to visit. Very comfortable, clean, and is located in the heart of Boston. Everything that we could have asked for as a place to spend our honeymoon. AWESOME!”

- Location+ easy access to theaters food.
- Nothing.
“Got a Great price at a great hotel for a night away with my wife in the theater district which we otherwise would not have been able to afford. Hotel is right next to back bay MBTA station so access is fast and easy.”
