• Great location attached by two shopping malls - you would never have to leave it to have a great time!
• Beds were a little uncomfortable.

“Fine hotel with all the amenities attached by two malls. Great dining and shopping experiences are all within a short walk of the hotel and you never have to leave the building.”

• Location was great!
• It is old and the peeling wall paper showed.

“The location was great. The rooms on the high floors had a view of the river. Very pretty at night. Right next door was a 24 hr grocery store. Useful for late night snacks for kids.”

“This is an excellent hotel to stay at. It is very clean and comfortable. It is probably one of the most comfortable hotels in it's star rating that I have ever stayed at.”

• The pool was more of a lap pool than a swimming for entertainment pool. The hot tub was closed for undisclosed reasons we were disappointed.

“The book in the room said there was a sauna on the pool deck and there wasn't even a sauna in the hotel. The hot tub was closed and the staff was cold and short.”

• Beautifully appointed.

“The Marriott Copley Plaza is well located for the needs of every business traveler and tourist. The lobby is a great meeting place and the 2nd floor lounge provides live dance music and excellent facilities for mingling. I shall return.”

“The room was very clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were very happy staying there and would go again if given the chance. We had a great lunch in the pub downstairs. The hotel is also in a great location.”

• I loved that it was connected to the mall.

• Location, access to the pru center.
• Parking is expensive.

“Hotel's location cant be beat if you want to be in the back bay/Copley area,which is what I wanted. Covered walkway to the prudential center was a great convenience since it was snowing during my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again when in Boston.”

• Little outdated.

“Overall, my husband and I were very pleased with the hotel. It was clean and a great location.
The bed had a feather down mattress topper. The room was very luxurious. The only unfortunate thing that happened, I asked the concierge about a place to eat crab (allergic to lobster & shrimp). Instead of informing me that you can't find crab in boston, he gave us 3 recommendations for seafood restaurants. He recommended The summer shack, and explained they have a crab boil and put it out on newspaper etc.”

• Great location. Easy to get to. Attractions near by.
• Found nail clippings on floor in our room & maid walked in unannounced in the morning

“We had a function at the hotel the evening we checked in so staying here was great. Was surprised to find nail clippings on the side of our bed and shocked when the maid walked in with out knocking in the morning. Overall stay was pleasant but the hotel should work with the cleaning crew.”

• Location, connection to mall and size.
• Old, dated, bathrooms are not nice, no one opened doors and front desk/conceirge was no helpful.

“This hotel is not worth the stars or even the price except for location. But, the thing is there are a lot more hotels that are better in the area. Sheraton, Fairmont, Westin etc. No one helped me with the door or with my bags. There was only one person at the front desk, concierge would not order us a shuttle (we had to do it ourself), the windows were not even clear they were so old and could be replaced, carpet was old, and bath was old. It also takes forever to get an elevator. Leave at least 15 minutes early just in case.

• The top floor view of Boston and the Charles river basin were magnificent.
• All but one elevator was not working.

“The hotel is amazingly located near anything in Boston and if not near enough. It was near the subway that would take you anywhere even into Cambridge mass, the rooms impeccable.”

• The hotel was very close to various attractions around the city of Boston.
• There was no complimentary breakfast included and there was a language barrier with the cleaning staff, although they were very friendly.

“Overall, the hotel was very accommodating, clean and located conveniently in the heart of Boston, the hotel itself is beautifully constructed inside and out. The site from the hotel room window of the 34th floor was exquisite. There should have been a complimentary breakfast included in the price. The staff could have been much friendlier, although the cleaning people were the exception minus the language barrier (everyone should at least know basic English regarding aspects of their place of employment for better communication). Other than that the stay was pleasant.”

• Location excellent. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
• Poor quality bed which was the biggest drawback. No exhaust fan in the bathroom.

• The long wait at the front desk.

“The hotel is in a wonderful location in Copley Square. The staff was very friendly and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The only minus there was a longer line both at check in and check out with only 2 people working.”

• It's centrally located.
• The parking is not included and it's expensive.

“I rarely write reviews, but this hotel was nice. It was upscale with plenty of nearby shopping and restaurants. It's a great place to stay when you're in Boston - on business or pleasure. I was here on business but I would love to come back with my family. I would choose this hotel again.”
