- Great location, great staff, and 3.5 star hotel.
- No valet or staff opening doors outside of the hotel.
“Got in late at 10:30 pm. Had no trouble checking in at the hotel. Friendly staff. Reception was cleaned and neat. Asked some questions to concierge. Was knowledgeable but not overly friendly. Room size was OK. Clean but a bit dated. Ordered room service. Pricey but food was OK.”

- I liked the location.
- The exterior and lobby.
“The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Although the lobby is small and spartan, and the exterior of the building is not attractive, I was not there to hang out at the hotel, so I didn't mind those things. It also has a nice pool and work out area.”

- The woman who checked me in was stellar - efficient, warm, welcoming, exemplary staff member.
- The gentleman at the hotel entry at parking garage was distracted, ignored me for several minutes – frustrating.
“Completely satisfied with my experience - for the price I got through Priceline, totally happy. I would recommend exit signs more prominently in the parking garage, and perhaps the addition of some pleasant and colorful sign age in the parking garage that makes you feel more welcome and guides you to the elevators. The hotel is so pleasant and the self-parking as the only option is dreary.”

- Hotel pool was unavailable part of Labor Day weekend and the pool was the reason we picked the hotel.

- Helpful professional staff at the front desk. Very prompt response from housekeeping staff as well.
- Beds are a bit small and decor is a bit dated.

- Friendly staff.
- Moderate cleanliness.
“For the price, It meets expectations. If you need to get to the airport, plan at least an hour for the short trip. Nice to have the complimentary breakfast, but everything tastes the same. The bread had no flavor to it. Coffee is OK. Bar was accommodating , providing opening for a brought in bottle of wine and glasses for the room. Beds fairly comfortable.”

“This hotel was wonderful. Every member of the staff from the front desk to the bellmen to the housekeeping staff that I came in contact with, was amazing. Customer service is obviously stressed in their training. It showed! I ordered a pizza from room service - excellent! And the price was very reasonable. Excellent stay!”

- Near all attractions, clean, friendly.
- The elevators were slow and one was not working
“We felt comfortable & relaxed in this hotel. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. All activities were close by and we felt safe walking in the neighbourhood.”

- Front Desk Staff was very friendly.
- The pool patio was unsafe and prices of food were too high.
“The hotel was great but my girlfriend broke her toe on a threshold that was not marked at all. We told the Hotel staff they needed to fix that. Someone could be seriously hurt. We had to finish our vacation with her in lots of pain. We were having to make lots of adjustments to our plans. I was not happy. They made no attempt to help us.”

- Clean, with responsive staff.
- Not enough convenient outlets in the room, they should invest in an outlet strip for under the desk!
“While the reception staff was friendly and responsive, there didn't really seem to be much of a lobby/social center to this hotel, aside from a little snack bar (only open until 9:00 pm, I believe) and television lounge. However, I didn't go to the Hilton to socialize or eat, it was just a little different feeling; more express hotel. Boston offers so many great options for eating, I may not have eaten there anyway. Overall, excellent cleanliness and air quality, and I'm persnickety!”

- It had a cafe that provided easy internet access and inexpensive food items. Excellent fitness center.
- We were located near the elevator so there was some late night noise that disturbed us.
“Well located hotel with nice rooms and good amenities. The fitness room was top-notch although it would have been nice if headphones were available for loan so that individuals could listen to the TV/radio in the equipment. (Could only purchase headphones) The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms well appointed.”

- Gave us a free upgrade when they heard we were celebrating a proposal.
- Room service knocked on the door at 8AM.
“This hotel was very comfortable and conveniently located in Boston's Back Bay, with quick access to pubic transit and plenty of fun activities. The staff was more than helpful, giving us a free upgrade (to a slightly nicer corner room with a nicer view) when they learned that we were celebrating our engagement. I would highly recommend the hotel.”

- I prefer the dining options were cheaper and a fridge would be very helpful.
“Good location, clean, convenient. Friendly staff. I personally like hotels to have fridge, and possibly microwave, but this one did not. The room and bathroom were roomy and appropriate. Internet connection was sometimes not as fast as it should be. No cable option, only wireless which is a minus.”

- The location is decent close to most attractions in Boston.
- Concierge was terrible; limited hours and no help.
“Valet parking is a pain and the attendants were not that great. The concierge was poor not helpful at all and not even available on Monday as we were told they are off on Mondays. Room was just ok nothing great. For a business traveler I guess this hotel is fine I walked through the Sheraton across the way and it was much nicer.”

- The staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. They allowed us to check in early, and gave us a choice of rooms. Everyone was professional.

many nice things to say about it.
“The Hilton Back Bay is perfectly located just off the Mass Pike at the Prudential Center and not far from Copley Place. Very large and clean room, friendly and efficient staff, easy parking right at the hotel and within walking distance of Fenway Park, Boylston Street, and the T can take you anywhere else. Plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area as well.”
