• Staff extremely attentive, friendly and prompt.

“Outstanding hotel suites with very friendly and attentive staff. The location is perfect for business and leisure travelers. I'd recommend it without reservation.”

• Location.
• Room.

“Our room was the first one off the main lobby on the first floor, next to the elevator shaft so it was quite noisy. Further, the bathroom was filthy and there was nothing but a flimsy sheet/duvet (no comforter) for a bed cover.”

• Staff.
• Walls very thin. Could hear people in next room.

“Excellent location, excellent staff. Only drawback are some of the facilities. My bathroom was missing a shower guard, problem with TV and you heard everything from the adjoining rooms.”

• Love the atmosphere of the building old and rustic.
• I felt it was a little pricey.

“The hotel was nice and staff was friendly the room was very clean. You have to pay $36 to park your car. That was a little to much for paying the price of one night. All in all a good experience.”

• It is cozy and comfortable. The suites are lovely and homey.
• The staff seemed untrained and unresponsive. I had to ask for a light bulb three times.

“The Eliot is a lovely hotel but they need to train their staff more about responding quickly and learning more about recommendations concerning restaurants, etc in Boston instead of handing you a booklet without comment. The hotel seems a bit tired but still warm and cozy. I would definitely return as I have many times before.”
