• Location, free parking, commuter train next door, bar, restaurant, Starbucks coffee bar in the morning, USA today delivered to your door in the AM.
• No free breakfast.

“This hotel fit our needs because it had a coffee bar for the AM and a bar for the evening hours. The parking at this hotel was plentiful and free. Although we did not use it, there was a commuter train next door. Boston was, we definitely would have used it. They had a free breakfast, but I would definitely rather have the Starbucks coffee bar, the full restaurant, and the bar that we had in our hotel. The hotel delivered a USA Today paper to our door every AM. We were on a leisurely trip but this is an excellent hotel for the business traveler.”

• There was a Starbucks inside and the staff was helpful.
• There was a huge wedding party going on in the lobby when I arrived.

“It was perfect for what I was looking for - a clean, comfortable place to stop for the night on my way to New London from Boston. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work, so I had to haul the coffee maker and the blow dryer out into the main room in the morning, but otherwise, it was just fine.”

“Location is convenient for business travelers, but hard by the highway with nothing of interest within walking distance. Nice, newly renovated rooms - walls are surprisingly thin, could clearly hear a telephone conversation in the room next door.”

“We like the location of this hotel. On arrival water was off, next day no hot water later again no water. The hotel did give us a free night on a future visit. Also some goodies. Staff really did not care when we talked with them about the situation.”

“It was a great value for the price and beds were comfortable. Room needed updating, walls were old and spotted near the corners, and bathroom was is kind of bad shape. Toilet ran constantly and leaked.”

• Great location, comfortable beds, clean.
• Thin walls. Could hear neighbors running water. Would be hesitant to bring our kids.

“We are having construction done on our local house and needed a bedroom to commute to work from. Easy on off highway access. Neat/clean. Plenty of parking. Met our needs. AC wasn't working but we never reported the problem so no fault to the hotel.”

• The hotel was very quiet and had a a very comfortable bed, making for a good nights sleep.
• The shower was set too low and had very little water pressure.

“Overall, we were very pleased with this hotel. It is relatively convenient to Boston, although there isn't much to do in Dedham itself. Pluses are that it is nice-looking, has very comfortable beds, and a pool. There rooms are very quiet, too. It also has a gym and a lounge, making it good for business travelers. Minuses: The biggest problem was the shower. We were apparently in a "handicapped accessible" room, and the shower would not adjust to go higher than 5ft. The water pressure was miserable, as well. Showers in non-modified rooms may be better. The "Starbucks cafe" isn't anything approaching a real Starbucks. It is only open until noon, and has a very limited selection of drinks and prepackaged food. Finally, there was a stain on one of the pillow covers on my bed. It was one of the decorative cylinder shaped pillows, not one you would actually sleep on.”

“The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The health club on site is a real health club, not just a room with a treadmill. Nice indoor swimming facility, and this is the only hotel I have ever seen that has two racquet ball courts on site, along with a decent tennis court. These amenities should be heralded more.”

• It is convenient to my destination.
• Not responsive to plumbing problems in our bathroom.

“This hotel did not repair a faulty toilet and we had to manually stop it from running after each flush. The hotel was notified 3 times in 2 days and still did nothing. Also, our food service tray remained outside our door for 2 days until we called to have it picked up. One employee offered a listening ear to our problems and removed a $22 room service charge from our bill. But when we checked out the toilet was still running!”

• Staff was extremely friendly and helpful; good directions were given as well.
• They are putting together a package of things to do in Boston for business people, but were not available yet.

“Great location - close to train routes to Boston, close to several restaurants and corporations for work. Very modern and pleasant, clean, comfortable, and plenty of parking trails behind the hotel for a casual hike to unwind from meetings were a nice touch staff were very service orientated to helping all customers - couldn't have asked for anything more from them.”

• Heating system does not cope with sub freezing temperatures, take a sweater.

“This was my second stay at this hotel. It is consistently above average. The staff are friendly, the accommodation very good. On both occasions, however, the outside temperature was around 10 degrees Fahrenheit. The room heaters barely coped, and the public areas were drafty. So take a sweater with you if it's winter.”

• I had the handicapped accessible room. I didn't like the door to outside on the ground level and the shower head is hung real low and removable.

“The hotel was clean and conveniently located to where I needed to be. The staff was friendly. The express checkout is a great thing! There should be a free continental breakfast. I found the room a little small. I think I had the handicapped room because my room was on the ground level and had a door to the outside. The door created a huge draft and made the room hard to keep warm and I was a little concerned for my safety with a glass door at ground level. Also, the shower head was hung at shoulder height (so one could not stand under it) and was removable (so I had to hold the shower head while showering!). I found the temperature of the pool room not warm enough to put my suit on! The lobby is nice and the restaurant/coffee counter is nice.”

• The bed was the most comfortable one I have ever slept in.
• The walk to my room was further than I would have liked.

“The place was awesome and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and courteous. The only problem was that the bed was so comfortable that I overslept through the check-out time and they had to come and knock on my door to wake me up. It was very embarrassing, to say the least.”

• It's very accessible off of rte 93/1.
• The bed was less than expected; I reported this.

“This is a fine hotel with a nice after hours bar with late night menu that is quite good. If you need quiet for sleep, ask to be in a room that is away from the large atrium noise from the lobby carries up four floors.”
