• Does not have a fridge or microwave in the room.

“Overall it's a good hotel. However, I do not recommend it for people that have small children, especially if you are staying for an extended period.”

• Efficient check in and reasonably priced buffet breakfast, although this should have been included in hotel price given 3 star rating.
• Breakfast was not included which lower level holiday inn express did.

• The restaurant  bamboo.
• The 1970s décor.

“There is now way this hotel is 3 stars. It is in need of a freshen up. There is no minibar. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was great at the bamboo restaurant.”

• The location was close to my place of business.
• The room.

“When you get up to the room it is dark and dreary and have a musty smell. The bathroom was small and had sort of like wall paper or plastic in the bathtub to cover the poor condition of it.”

• Convenient location, indoor pool.
• Our bathroom was in disrepair, room was mediocre and in bad location.

“Convenient location but we were assigned a no frills room with a decrepit bathroom. Room decor was hotel standard. There was a nice indoor pool.”

• The location was within 2 miles of most of my needs.
• I would need 20 paragraphs. This place has gone down the tubes since I last stayed there.

“It took 6 tries to find 2 rooms that did not reek of mold and mildew. The odor throughout the hotel was moldy and dank. The pool was out of commission (not notified in advance), there was no baggage assistance, the front desk (and the whole lobby) was completely unattended (there were people in the back room behind the desk)at least 8 times during our coming and going over 3 days what security? The elevators were broken we had to use stairs to/from the 3rd floor at least 4 times this was the absolute worst hotel experience I have had in 20 years of traveling.”

• Old, tired and definitely not a three star hotel.

“I have stayed at three other holiday inn hotels recently and the one in Dedham is by far the worst that I have ever found representing that hotel chain. I would not stay here again and it will make me Leary of holiday inn in the future.”

• Near the highway.
• The food is lousy. It's not a cleaned place.

“The bathroom was dirty. The bed linen and towel are worn out. The bathroom floor is not too cleaned.”

• The Nook restaurant was nice; free coffee but nothing else.
• Carpet very soiled; did not clean room on 2nd day!

“Unfortunately I would not stay here again. Needs clean carpets etc. Area was not very good. We stopped at TGIF and there was a policeman on duty. Room was not touched 2nd day and we were gone all day. They didn't even act concerned - had to send for towels a 10:00 pm when we got back.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and information.

“Appreciated the helpfulness of the staff. The room was clean and neat, however the toilet ran when flushed and needed some repair. Entering the hotel parking lot was confusing as you had to drive through other lots first. But it soon felt like home after several days.”

“This hotel is old and has had many years of little or no maintenance Although the Holiday Inn brand is not a stellar flag, this property is not fit for the Eco no Lodge flag either. It is time the property was demolished and re-built.”

• Bad location, many staff can not speak good English.

“The hotel has everything it should have for this price. But the location is not very good esp. when you do not drive car to the hotel. The earliest train on Sun is 11:20am, but the hotel would not send you to the nearest sub-station. I borrowed an umbrella from the front desk, it was broken!”

“The motel was nice and clean. Room bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen in a motel. Parking was poor, especially. since I was traveling with my elderly Grandmother who has difficulty getting around. The lounge was nice and drinks were reasonably priced, and the wait staff was very friendly. Room TV channels were limited, and just to make a local call cost $0.75. There were 1 liter bottles of water in the room with a note attached to enjoy, and smaller print saying the room would be changed $3.75 if it was consumed. It was set right out where my children wanted to drink it, esp. in the 100 degree+ weather- I was annoyed by this so-called "courtesy." He and the other girl at the front desk were so overly "fake" that it was disgusting. When I asked him questions though, he couldn't seem to give me answers; even as simple as where to park to be nearest our room. The slicked hair and goth earring made it quite obvious that his femme, over-the-top mannerism was even more fake than you could otherwise imagine. It really put me off on a bad foot for the beginning of the stay. Is NOT as major roadway as it is shown on the map. It took a very long time to find the motel by my own common sense- the map did not help much. Overall stay- good for the price, would not go back though.”

• The pool was not is service the entire stay, the gym equipment was mostly out of order.

• The swimming pool was clean and well maintained.
• The rooms did not have refrigerators or microwaves. This is a convenience we prefer.

• Courteous front desk staff.
• Unclean room.

“Room was not clean. Did not complain to front desk, but since you ask, the bathroom was not clean, the carpet was stained and the bed squeaked. It was not what I've experienced a 3 star to be.”

“This hotel is over rated as a 3 star hotel. The rating is a low 2 star at best. The worst rooms in this hotel next to the main entrance door which slams a lot during the night. It was very difficult to go to sleep with all the noise.”

• The hotel anytime that I have stayed there is very dirty. There is no way it is a 3 star hotel.

• This hotel was conviently located to restaurants and main thoroughfares
• Rooms were old and tired looking

“Although rated as a 3 star hotel, I found it to be old and tired. Not what I am accustomed to when staying at a 3 star rated hotel.”
