- The service was very friendly.
- Rooms are rather small, but well-furnished.
“The location is quite good, especially if you are doing an in and out business trip of something like that. Parking is $12 a night, and the self-park garage is convenient, but be careful when you try to find it. If you are coming in on the pike from the west, you can accidentally get right back on going the other way.”

- Convenient to mass turnpike.
- Built out over mass turnpike - charged for parking.
“The hotel and room were clean and attractive. However, the hotel is built literally over the mass turnpike and there were traffic noises and vibration in the morning. Also, there seemed to be stuffiness to the air, particularly in the lobby, which I attribute however subjectively to car exhaust. I did not like being automatically charged for parking in what is otherwise a suburban location, an unpleasant surprise which did not figure into my calculations.”

- Renovations not completed. Pool closed.
“Hotel and staff were wonderful. The hotel is switching over to a Hilton and construction was still underway. There was noise in the early morning and my son's room had to be changed. The hotel was close to church sty, a shopping and restaurant area, mall, and historical sites. Very clean and safe area and very friendly people.”

- Extra $12.00 fee per night for parking, although I noticed no one was collecting on Sunday, so parking was obviously free but I was charged.

- The walls were painted bright and cheerful.
- It's directly on top of a freeway and you can hear traffic all night.
“Even thought the hotel is attractive it sits directly on top of a freeway and the windows are not soundproof. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“Everything would be fine if they either sound proof the rooms, or built in different location. If I pick the 3-star rating, I expect a good night¿s sleep at the least. At best I got 4 hours of sleep a night due to the traffic noise and train that runs right next to the hotel. Do you even tour these hotels before you list them?”

- Location to Ma. Pike could avoid downtown Boston traffic, very helpful for visitors with rental car.
- Noise from traffic in the room-only complaint re: Hotel and rooms on other side wouldn't have this problem.
“Very pleasant atmosphere and helpful friendly staff. Hotel restaurant very limited menu, however Appleby's Restaurant next door. Our was on the noisy side of hotel road traffic, but beds etc. Very comfortable so we still slept well. Only complaint ~ TV. Didn't work ~ report it said it would be corrected in a few minutes, however it never was.”

- I really can't think of anything.
- The location.
“As we drove down the Mass Pike we were horrified when we saw the Sheraton sign on a hotel that was literally over the highway and next to train tracks. The hotel was also very difficult to get to once you got off the exit. The hotel itself was dingy and the views were of the highway, with your choice of east or west. The air conditioner was the noisiest I have ever heard and kept waking us up each time it went on. ”

- The hotel staff went up and beyond.
- The charge for the Internet and the fact it didn't work.
“Though clean, this hotel was not impressive for a 3 star. The Internet didn't work and, after about 20 min of problem solving, I was told it would take up to 2 hours to be repaired. I switched rooms and the Internet worked in the new room. There was a charge for the Internet on top of it. The breakfast was much too expensive. I liked the very comfortable bed. The clerk who checked us in was very helpful in switching rooms.”

- The hotel manager did not charge us for our 1 night stay and credited our account for the remaining 4 days we canceled at that hotel.
- An employee said she was the manager when she was not and was nasty; garage attendant made inappropriate gestures to our 12 yr old.
“I felt unsafe at this hotel, especially with children. The garage attendant threatened my husband then made an inappropriate movement with his body when our 12 yr old daughter looked at him. A female hotel staff member at the desk was rude and walked away when I tried to speak with her. Fortunately, the head manager the next morning apologized and went out of her way to appease us by immediately getting us into another hotel and not charging us for the remaining 4 days we did not stay at her hotel. She was very professional about it.”

- The exercise room.
- Very noisy, between the air conditioner and the traffic, very small pool, had to pay extra for parking, no breakfast included.
“The room was neat and clean, but the hotel was too noisy. The air conditioner kept going on and off all night and the traffic noise was a nuisance. The pool was very small for a hotel this size. Having to pay extra for parking($12)was ridiculous, I've never had too for parking while staying at a hotel. Overall this stay was way overpriced for the services offered. Not my idea of a Three Star Hotel. Next time I'll pay a little extra and stay in the heart of Boston. Very Disappointed.”

“When I called to check on parking before making the trip I was informed it was $9/day. When I arrived (a couple of weeks later) the rate was actually $12/day. They also charged $9.95/day for internet in the room. They don't tell you that it is free in the lobby. Desk staff was not friendly and housekeeping kept forgetting to replenish the coffee in the room (more than once). The 2 water coolers in the fitness center were completely empty one day. TV (access to pay movies) was unavailable one night. I guess you get what you pay for. There are so many hotel chains that offer these at no charge.”

- I have stayed at Motel 6s' that were cleaner and more up-to-date.
“I was very disappointed with the Sheraton. This is a name hotel that is to have certain standards that are expected. The hotel lobby was very clean and updated, but when you step on the elevator you realize that it is a front. When I got off the elevator, I thought I was staying in a 1-star hotel. The hallway was a mess. The carpets where dirty (and I mean dirty) and the walls had torn wallpaper and etc. The sleeping area was clean, but the bathroom was not what I would call clean. I think everything in the bathroom was original and not kept up very well. ”

- Nice lobby & nice restaurant.
- 3 in our party. All 3 rooms smelled. Rooms in need of renovation.

“Stay here only if you like cigarette smoke and noise from the highway (which runs directly underneath the hotel.) The hallways stank of cigarette smoke. The room furnishings were shabby. Had to turn on the old-fashioned wall heater/fan to cover the noise from the highway. The only bargain is the discounted $9 parking.”

- It was cheap, relatively speaking. Parking is "discounted" to $9 a night.
- Dirty, noisy, bad service, warn out, uncaring.
“Do not stay there! In April, it's filled with high school kids on spring break who run up and down the halls all night. It has never been renovated. The rugs and drapes are warn and threadbare. The staff knows little or nothing about the area and is not able to give directions. The service is terrible. We asked for a wakeup call and did not receive it. There is ONE computer in the lobby. This is a 1960s hotel that has never been updated. Do NOT pay more than $65-70 for this hotel. In fact, try not to stay there. We saw much nicer ones on I95 closer to Waltham which is where we requested to stay. I can't imagine that this hotel will come up.”

- The bed was comfortable.
- My room was incredibly noisy. It made falling asleep a challenge.
“I found much about this hotel to be mediocre. The room amenities were minimal ' quite unlike my stay in 3 star hotels elsewhere. The traffic noise was quite irritating and kept me awake. The staff was friendly, but not especially helpful or committed. I would not elect to stay there again.”

- Location, price, staff.
- Rugs spotted, paint dirty, dingy.
“For a 3 star hotel, I felt the rooms were not 3 star rooms. The staff was very helpful and the location suited my needs but the rooms and hallways need refurbishing.”

- Excellent Location for Events at Boston University.
- Internet Access is not free. Come on!
“Great hotel, great location, kind of noisy. Only bad thing is that they charge for Internet Access. One of the last few that still do. Penny wise, pound foolish!”

- Hotel is very accessible by road transportation.
- VERY inaccessible by public transportation, and staff could not help with any advice about the public transport.
“The air unit in our smelly room turned on repeatedly on its own throughout the night, and when we asked to have it fixed, their response was that the engineer could not tell anything was wrong. The room smelled clearly of an ex-smoking room, and we were skipped by housekeeping twice. There are few options for eating nearby, unless you want to walk across the highway and find some Donuts or ice cream. Or in the lobby, there is an Applebee's that stinks up the lobby with grill-exhaust smoke. When you arrive, please check to make sure that you will not fall through the desk chair when you sit down, and that your remote control and air conditioner/heater properly work or not. And if you are thinking that you can get a refrigerator, they charge $10/ night, even if it is to store medication. The good news is that at least 1 out of 5 of the staff members was very helpful, the other people I spoke with were completely uninterested with my questions, and when asked why we could not switch to a room that did not smell like smoke (even after we were assigned to a "non smoking room"), we were denied . It did not matter that I am a Starwood Preferred Guest at all.”

- The fact that it had a pool with fitness center right across hall.
- Pool was very small and I had to pay for parking ($9).
“Great hotel, but we were surprised at how small the pool was. Also, I wasn't happy about having to pay for parking at this hotel.”
