• They included free hot buffet breakfast for my wife and I, and of course kids eat free.
• It was a no smoking room. However, the bathroom smelt particularly smoky. One assumes from the floor below.

“Great location just off of route 128 (I95). Commuter rail station is only 300 feet from hotel so very easy to get into Boston and onto the rest of the "T" subway system. Good value for money.”

• Convenient right off interstate.
• Gave me a room off lobby and I heard cars in front.

• Easy access from freeway 95.
• Loud heater noise woke me up many times in the night.

• The room was clean and had everything that I needed. The parking was convenient.
• We were awakened early in the morning by the next door neighbor speaking loudly on his phone. The walls seemed very thin.

“It was a bit out of the way if you are spending time in Boston. It was clean but by no means attractive looking. The room was clean and fine but the walls were very thin and the noise of slamming doors and people on the phone was disturbing.”

• Location.
• The bathroom sink drain was broken - front desk slow at check-in.

“Not overly impressed with the overall hotel experience here. The breakfast was very bad continental and directions to front desk (since they are different floors) should have been marked better. I will most likely not choose to stay here again.”

• location and price
• old style. very small shower, narrow low ceilings, etc.

• Nothing!
• Room not clean--no hot water. Phone did not work. then, I was charged for the use of lobby phone.

“This hotel was not well-run. There was a plumbing problem and I had to take a cold shower. The phone in my room was not working. Then, I was charged a fee to use the lobby phone. The staff was not very effective in trying to remedy the situation or in trying to compensate me for the inconvenience. I would have expected some type of voucher.”

• Great location near the City Transportation - renewed swimming pool is great

“Quality room for a reasonable price. And free wireless internet in every corner . Best value when doing business in Boston and not willing to fight Boston Traffic thanks to convenient location in direct proximity to the Riverside Tramway.”

• Right off the highway - easy on/off.
• It was great

“Great location 50 feet off exit 22 of Route 128/I95, 25 minutes from Cambridge. The rooms were big, newly renovated. Free internet. They aim to please.”

• Narrow corridors, small rooms, needed car to go anywhere (nothing in walking distance)

• The hotel was right next door to the T. It made it very easy to get into the city. The parking garage is covered.

“Great location. Friendly staff. We liked the covered parking garage because we didn't have to clean snow off of our car. It was very easy to walk to the T and get into Boston.”

“This Holiday Inn was not entirely up to HI standards from my experiences. The staff was friendly, the location was good and there is covered parking. However, two times my room was not cleaned by 3PM. I realize it was a holiday week, but I expect my room to be cleaned before noon.”

“It seemed a bit tired, and it could have been cleaner. Everyone was VERY nice, except the host in the breakfast dining room was quite surly every morning. However, the delightful waiter made up for him.”

“Old property. Overall--tacky. Poor, poor quality of beds. Room poorly ventilated. Poor quality of room for price. I would rate this hotel a one star at best, certainly not a three star hotel. Very disappointed. Will not stay there again.”

“The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. However, the hotel would do well to spruce up its image by working the common areas, lobby, check-in staff, etc. Clearly not a 3 1/2 star as rated, 2 1/2 is more like it.”

“This was NOT a three-star hotel. The room we were given was very small and cramped. The queen size bed (for two people) was placed against one wall making it impossible to enter the bed from both sides. The shower was so small and cramped, you could not bend over to pick up a bar of soap. This hotel needs a complete remodel to be considered anywhere near a three-star rating.”
