• Great price; excellent value; clean; wonderful breakfast.
• Pool was outside and was not heated.

“This was a great hotel at a great price. We were just staying for one night but it was high-quality and clean and the price was great! The breakfast was a full breakfast buffet, which was a nice change from continental breakfasts. The pool was outdoors and looked nice but we didn't use it because it was cool out and the pool was not heated.”

• The free buffet was out of this world! The rooms were very clean and the bedding was updated.

“The hotel was wonderful. The room was great and the bedding was newer & very comfortable (no stains or burn holes). Cleanliness was my main concern and it was very clean! The free breakfast buffet was AWESOME - top notch! The staff was wonderful! The pool is outside, a little small but good enough & cleans. There is also a grill next to the pool if you want to cook outside. I would definitely come to this hotel again if ever in the area.”

• This hotel exceeded my expections. It was very easy to find, the staff was friendly, the room was cosy, and the price was perfect!
• The sink was wobbly when I turned it on and the door frame had a large seam that light came through, which made me a little uncomfortable.

“I loved this hotel! I had a wedding to attend and wasn't familiar with the area. And at the last minute I decided to get a hotel room. Well, I booked a room at 3am the day I needed it. It was so easy and affordable, I was apprehensive about the quality of the room. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel staff was so friendly and accommodating. My room was very cozy and the king sized bed was a mountain of blankets and pillows! So comforting after a night of dancing and socializing. The next morning I intended on taking advantage of the complementary breakfast buffet but woke up too late. Over all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone and plan on returning again, soon!”

• Feather topped beds, laundry, service and full breakfast bar were excellent.
• Old/non working
  AC units. 1 elevator far from rooms.

“One of us has to sleep on the rollaway which was uncomfortable, but the king bed was so comfortable and had a feather topper. It was nice to have a wet bar sink and mini fridge in the room. My AC unit was not working, the windows were out dated and it was 80+ degree weather. There was only 1 elevator and it was far away from all the rooms. There was a laundry area which was great. Also, they had a full breakfast bar which I was impressed with. Other places only offer muffins and cereal, but the breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt, waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs, country potatoes, minute maid juices and more. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They also had a courtesy computer with printer and high speed internet. It was helpful for me to print out my boarding passes. Also, easy freeway access and the lobby and central area had beautiful decor.”

“Overall the hotel was okay. The location was further away then I anticipated from where I needed to be. The hotel charged for internet at 12.95 per day, and parking at 9.95 per day, plus breakfast was not complimentary. I didn't realized any savings, and I had further to drive.”

• The breakfast buffet is excellent.
• Someone on my hallway slammed the doors loudly, every 15 minutes, for over 8 hours in the evening.

“This is an old, oddly shaped hotel building that's been remodeled well on the inside but that still needs some work on the outside. Parking is available and free but not convenient to the front door.”

“Convenient to the greater Boston area. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast provided was great and offered something for everyone, even for several days. The rooms were spacious and clean. The walls were a little thin as we could hear the people next door.”

• Inexpensive, great place to stay with breakfast.

“Great inexpensive hotel. Staff was courteous and helpful. Hotel was warm and the rooms were nice, big TV, mini microwave, mini refrigerator, free internet, and free breakfast. Great restaurant, Naked Fish right next to it. I would definitely stay there again without hesitation.”

• The continental breakfast was good. Staff was nice.
• The rooms have either air conditioning or heat depending on the the temparture.

“Our stay was in Oct when the days can be warm and the night’s cold. Our room got very stuffy and warm and when we tried to turn the air conditioner on, only warm air came out. We called to the desk and informed us that only the heat is on, but if we would like a fan, they would bring us one. They brought us the fan which cooled us off for the night.”

• Computer ran out of ink and the order for ink would take three days.

“Traveling with my daughters to drop off at college, I liked to easy location to Cambridge. I appreciated the price! Also the breakfast was excellent, hot and the hosts were kind and attentive. I also enjoyed the quiet music in the hallways. Thank you for a refreshing stay!”

• Breakfast Buffet was terrific. Proximity to public transportation was excellent.
• Mattress was a bit too soft for my tastes.

“Hotel is older but very clean and charming. Breakfast buffet and restaurant were great. The close proximity to the T and Commuter rail made getting into Boston a breeze. Place is well lit, secure and just off the main highway yet in a quiet area. Will definitely be back when the red Sox are in the playoffs.”

• Free parking and free internet; rooms were a decent size.
• Tiny bathroom; beds could be more comfortable; had to ask for towels and bathroom supplies.

“Room was of adequate size; relatively clean and quiet. Beds were not very comfortable, and the bathroom was very small. Linens and towels are ok - nothing great. The maid did not replace towels or toilet supplies, so we had to catch up with her and ask. There is free parking and free internet. Breakfast is provided. The dining room is attractive, but can get messy quickly. The juice dispenser broke our first morning, and they could not provide juice in pitchers for the guests. Buffet breakfast includes baked goods, waffles, eggs, fruit, yogurt and cereal. It's ok for the price.”

“Kind of strange setup. Third floor actually on 2nd level, to park have to drive around behind a restaurant to back of hotel. Overall a decent place to stay for the money. Clean and comfortable.”

• The room was well-appointed and comfortable with cabled internet access.
• The bathroom was awkwardly oriented and it was tough dealing with kids in the tub.

“With a hot breakfast, convenient location, and comfortable rooms, the Home Suites in was a pleasant place to stay with my young children. The rooms were "fancy" in my kids' estimation, clean, and provided all we needed (including Internet access). The outdoor pool might have been nice had it been warmer.”

• Loved the beautiful guestroom decor/appointments.
• Some of the front desk staff appeared to be a little unkempt.

“This hotel far exceeded our expectation - having been recently renovated, I didn't know what to expect - and was very pleasantly surprised and pleased. The room appointments were very nice, very upscale. The food offered on the breakfast buffet line was excellent.”

• Lovely lit fireplaces welcomed us to the lobby.
• Room was a little warm but we were happy to be able to open a small vent window to let in fresh air.

“Great value for very nice accommodations. Decor in the lobby and common area had an upscale "non-chain" feel. Complimentary breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes as well as the usual continental offerings. Fish restaurant next door was much nicer than we thought it would be great seafood-oriented menu. Would gladly stay here again next time I'm in the Boston area.”

“I've stayed here before and have liked it. I was disappointed this trip. The front desk clerk acted like an automaton. The room and bathroom were nice-sized and comfortable except for the poop in the toilet that greeted me upon my arrival, and remained throughout my stay. Additionally, I had no hot water for my morning shower at 7:30 and two of the toilets outside the lobby were clogged. The breakfast buffet provides ample and diverse selections, although the potatoes and eggs were cold, and it was only 7:45am. I plan to complain to the management and I am hoping the problems will be rectified.”

• Jean the desk clerk was exceptional! The bedding and room size are tremendous. Great value! Superb breakfast.
• Wallpaper was peeling away in some parts of the room but this was a minor issue.

“This hotel is a great value, easy to locate and super friendly staff. The internet access, parking and included hot breakfast make it a tremendous situation for leisure or business travelers.”

“The hotel was clean and nice. Was within good distance to where our meeting was. The rooms were nice and clean. I was disappointed there were no VCR's in room. I had called and asked if they had them and was told yes. The breakfast buffet was good and there was plenty to choose from.”

“For the price and included amenities, this is the best deal in the Boston suburbs. It has a nice outdoor pool, workout room with good equipment, and a super hot breakfast buffet. The adjacent restaurant (The Naked Fish) was tasty and reasonably priced. The only cons were really minor things. We couldn't get the heat to come in room, but it wasn't cold enough to call the front desk about it. The bathroom fan didn't work, nor did the hair dryer. Next trip out that way we'll definitely stay at this hotel.”

• Convenient parking near rooms, free hot breakfast, nice pool, very comfortable bed.
• Person at front desk said breakfast on Sunday was over at 11:00, instead of 10:00.

“We thought this hotel was very nice. Both my adult son and I loved the beds! We enjoyed the good selection of breakfast foods. The only places to go within walking distance are other hotels and a gas station. After asking at the front desk, we were directed to a shopping area several miles away.”
