• It was close to the Boston T.
• Dirty.

“The overall feel of the room was uncomfortable due to its being in poor shape. The walls were dirty, some furniture was in disrepair, there was peeling plaster in the bathroom (a large piece), the floor didn't look as if it had been vacuumed. The grungy feel began on the elevator, which had a filthy floor. I would not recommend this hotel at all. It needs a complete overhaul.”

“Seemed ok from the outside, but our particular room had a strong odor of a male cat in heat. We complained but it was the only room left (due to late check in after driving 15 hours from MC to Boston). We sprayed some stuff and slept with windows opened but still would gag you after 3 days. Better than sleeping in the alley, I guess.”

“The hotel has no breakfast facility, no exercise facility and the decor is rather shabby and dated. The room was reasonably clean, not spotless though, and the staff friendly and accommodating to my request for late checkout. Overall, it was a good value for the price but I would not stay there again.”

“We arrived for a late check in and the front doors were locked, with no clerk at the desk! You were supposed to call in on the phone in the hall, but the phone didn't work. I ended up banging on the door until someone came to open it, about 10 minutes later. When we got up to the room, no one had turned the air on in July and the room registered at 94 degrees. We asked to be moved, but the clerk said there were no other rooms available, so we basically sweated our butts off the whole night till the next morning. Upon leaving the next morning, there was no ice machine to fill our small cooler and I was not able to obtain a receipt. Very unfriendly and uncaring staff. They could care less about your comfort, or any part of your stay. Oh, yes and the next day, there were police swarming the front parking lot of the hotel and appearing to question someone in front of the hotel. I think they were staff, because there were lots of other staff outside circling around them.”

• Night manager skipped work, no one to help with problem.

“This hotel is a no frills extended stay property that was clean and secure, but provided no amenities outside of the room whatsoever. Some of the staff was courteous, but others were from out of town and had no helpful knowledge. Our card key did not work when we came back on our final night (it was midnight). There was no one to help us and no number to call. Luckily, someone from the sister property next door came (after we waited a half hour) and made a new key for us. Had there been a hotel wide emergency such as a fire, it would have been a disaster. Very unhappy.”

“The hotel provided a pleasant stay. The furnishings were nice and provided a home away from home feeling. I am not a smoker and find it distasteful to have to view trash cans with overflowing tobacco running from rain. I enjoyed the staff.”

• Terrible. It is worse than 1-star hotel.
• It is worse than Motel 6.

“Do not stay here. It has no shampoo. When I inquire about it, they simply say they do not provide it. The towers are wormed, and there is only 2 sets. Mattress are thin like a card board. Services is not available. The attendant simply disappeared at 12:30 AM, never returned. Some guess waited at least an hour till 1:30 AM with no one take care of them. The phone was answered out of state. No coffee or tea bags and on and on.”

“My request was for 2 adult and 1 child and when I was given a queen bed room. And I asked for a room with 2 beds and was told $10 extra. We went to the room and found it was a queen and sofa bed so I asked for a 2 bed room and was told there would be extra $5. There was no shampoo in the room, no coffee in the morning etc. I had stayed in a better 2 star and this is more like a motel.”

“The hotel was as expected and offered just what was needed for a quick weekend trip. The only negative was the room we were assigned smelled of cigarette smoke which for a non smoker was very uncomfortable. However, I would attempt to stay there again and request a non smoking room.”

• Had no shampoo or soap so had to ask. No coffee, had to ask.

“It appeared as if no one had been in to check that the room was ready. The staff was nice when we called to say we had no coffee. They told us to come by for some or that they could bring it. Then we saw there was no shampoo but there was no problem in bringing it. We later realize there was no soap for the shower, only one bar for the sink so we again had to ask. However, the staff was friendly. The TV didn't work very well but fortunately for us that wasn't a priority.”

“The hotel is designed for people who are looking for a room with the convenience of in-room kitchen facilities but who don't need much support beyond that. The maintenance was inconsistent. There were no hangers in the closet when we arrived (staff quickly arranged for some). The kitchen was stocked with two of everything (glasses, plates, spoons, etc) but only one bowl. The sign on the refrigerator says ice has been freshly frozen for us, but the ice was old, partially depleted, and the trays were frozen into a sheet of ice on the bottom of the freezer. The AC needed maintenance. It was okay for a couple of nights but could be depressing for a long stay.”

• Perfect outside building appearance, desk attendant efficient lobby and elevator clean.
• Stained armchair not very attractive and appealing. Detest having to clean toilet seat surface and under rim before I can set... Oh so disgusting.

“On the exterior, this hotel looks very appealing. The lobby, the front desk service and the elevator give a good impression. As far as the room itself, let say, I am glad I had booked only on night. The mattress is too old. Despite my extreme fatigue, I tossed and turned all night. By 5 am, I had to get out of bed because my back hurt too much. My husband woke up with back pain as well. The armchair appears dirty and I couldn't seat without spreading a towel on it. And I hate it when I find myself cleaning hotel bathrooms before I can use them.”

• I love the staff.
• Air-conditioning poor very noisy extremely poor hi-speed internet.

“I have stayed here numerous times. This was my worst stay. Light bulbs were missing, air conditioner compressor not functioning properly and hi speed internet either non-working or slower than dial up. Yet the staff is very helpful. I will stay again. Cannot beat the price for the location. Hopefully I just got a bad room this time.”
