• Location.
• No attention to housekeeping.

“Desk staff was very responsive, however rooms were not cleaned well. Old papers in dressers, dirty glasses ( no plastic or paper cups). closet door of hinge. heating cooling unit had no knobs to adjust temperature hotel policy is to take imprint of credit cards which made me uncomfortable regarding card security.”

• We enjoyed the friendliness of the hotel staff.
• The back trash can stayed full of cigarette butts and empty cans.

“The hotel provided a pleasant stay. The furnishings were nice and provided a home away from home feeling. I am not a smoker and find it distasteful to have to view trash cans with overflowing tobacco running from rain. I enjoyed the staff.”

• Terrible. It is worse than 1-star hotel.
• It is worse than Motel 6.

“Do not stay here. It has no shampoo. When I inquire about it, they simply say they do not provide it. The towers are wormed, and there is only 2 sets. Mattress are thin like a card board. Services is not available. The attendant simply disappeared at 12:30 AM, never returned. Some guess waited at least an hour till 1:30 AM with no one take care of them. The phone was answered out of state. No coffee or tea bags and on and on.”

• Nonfriendliness of staff.

“My request was for 2 adult and 1 child and when I was given a queen bed room. And I asked for a room with 2 beds and was told $10 extra. We went to the room and found it was a queen and sofa bed so I asked for a 2 bed room and was told there would be extra $5. There was no shampoo in the room, no coffee in the morning etc. I had stayed in a better 2 star and this is more like a motel.”

• Room heavily smelled of smoke.

“The hotel was as expected and offered just what was needed for a quick weekend trip. The only negative was the room we were assigned smelled of cigarette smoke which for a non smoker was very uncomfortable. However, I would attempt to stay there again and request a non smoking room.”

• Hotel staff and convenience for colleges.
• Had no shampoo or soap so had to ask. No coffee, had to ask.

“It appeared as if no one had been in to check that the room was ready. The staff was nice when we called to say we had no coffee. They told us to come by for some or that they could bring it. Then we saw there was no shampoo but there was no problem in bringing it. We later realize there was no soap for the shower, only one bar for the sink so we again had to ask. However, the staff was friendly. The TV didn't work very well but fortunately for us that wasn't a priority.”

“Located conveniently next to major freeways, but is confusing to get to, mostly because of long-running road repairs. Not a bad place to sleep/shower in on business trips, but no frills, and be prepared to drive to get a decent breakfast!”

“The hotel is designed for people who are looking for a room with the convenience of in-room kitchen facilities but who don't need much support beyond that. The maintenance was inconsistent. There were no hangers in the closet when we arrived (staff quickly arranged for some). The kitchen was stocked with two of everything (glasses, plates, spoons, etc) but only one bowl. The sign on the refrigerator says ice has been freshly frozen for us, but the ice was old, partially depleted, and the trays were frozen into a sheet of ice on the bottom of the freezer. The AC needed maintenance. It was okay for a couple of nights but could be depressing for a long stay.”

• Perfect outside building appearance, desk attendant efficient lobby and elevator clean.
• Stained armchair not very attractive and appealing. Detest having to clean toilet seat surface and under rim before I can set... Oh so disgusting.

“On the exterior, this hotel looks very appealing. The lobby, the front desk service and the elevator give a good impression. As far as the room itself, let say, I am glad I had booked only on night. The mattress is too old. Despite my extreme fatigue, I tossed and turned all night. By 5 am, I had to get out of bed because my back hurt too much. My husband woke up with back pain as well. The armchair appears dirty and I couldn't seat without spreading a towel on it. And I hate it when I find myself cleaning hotel bathrooms before I can use them.”

• Parking and good access to roads. Both a luxury in Boston area.
• Toilet seat did not stay up. Nuisance.

“Useful and economical location for business travelers with a car. It had a complete kitchenette that allowed me to make unlimited amounts of my own coffee. I could have easily made my own breakfasts if I wanted to.”

• I love the staff.
• Air-conditioning poor very noisy extremely poor hi-speed internet.

“I have stayed here numerous times. This was my worst stay. Light bulbs were missing, air conditioner compressor not functioning properly and hi speed internet either non-working or slower than dial up. Yet the staff is very helpful. I will stay again. Cannot beat the price for the location. Hopefully I just got a bad room this time.”

• Walls were paper thin, could hear kids and sneezing, etc.

“The location was ideal for my purposes. But working in the room and sleeping were challenging due to the poor construction of the facility, including paper thin walls where I could hear children, doors slamming and even people sneezing! Too many kids!”

“The hotel would have been perfect for the price except for the pillows were hard and uncomfortable and the shower was not strong enough to be refreshing. Also I had wanted two double beds but that was not available.”

• Roaches and ants in first room.

“This is a basic hotel with basic facilities. The first room we were in had roaches and ants; when we complained we were upgraded - from a queen to a king room. Second room was fine, but the toilet did not flush properly and it was quite light. However, it was absolutely fine for one night and certainly worth the money! Also nice having a refrigerator in the room.”
