“Good basic accommodation for business traveler wanting to be within reach of Boston without incurring the high expense of Boston hotels.” Oct 15, 2008 by
Carey
“Needs to improve its cleanliness.” Sep 10, 2008 by
Lonnie from Douglasville, GA
“Very clean hotel and quiet, but the continental breakfast was lacking and not offered on weekends. Finally, I had to call the 800 number for the hotel and tell them my predicament. They are mailing my receipt for the stay. Unacceptable not to have staff available at 6:30 AM.” Aug 29, 2008 by
Fran from Rockville, MD
“The suite included a full kitchen, making it nice for families or those with special dietary needs. It makes an excellent choice for a Brandeis family.” Aug 21, 2008 by
David from Teaneck, NJ
“An efficiency apt, not a hotel, they don't make up the room at all.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Terry from Philadelphia, PA
“The hotel was clean, precisely located, affordable and comfortable. The staff was mostly friendly, prompt and professional.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Ed from Milton, WI
“This hotel exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to family, friends and co-workers.” Aug 17, 2008 by
Marsha from Birch Run, MI
“This hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and very willing to help us. I liked having the safety deposit box available. We liked being able to open the window and the air outside was fresh and not polluted. We were close to the train and Subway into Boston. It was quiet at night for sleeping and Waltham had the restaurants, ATM's, etc that we needed. I would come back to it again.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Rosemarie from Richmond, CA
“It is a pleasant stay. Easy access to Costco. Maintenance responded quickly to problems. Manager was nice to client. Staff was helpful.” Jun 27, 2008 by
Ali from Lanesborough, MA
“The staff was wonderful, very friendly. The rooms were emasculate! I couldn't find a fingerprint on the mirrors! It was a very comfortable room. I have already recommended this hotel!” May 25, 2008 by
Myrle from Granby, MA
“Hotel was really an apartment and met our needs well. No frills, just a clean comfortable place to stay, very convenient to highways to Boston. Would stay again. No amenities, no service, but that was okay.” Mar 20, 2008 by
Scott from Florence, SC
“This hotel offers easy access to I-95. The room is well-sized, offering a kitchenette and large sitting/sleeping area. There is internet access, though there is a charge which covers the entire stay. I found that locating the grocery store (2 miles away) was so difficult that I gave up. The continental breakfast consists of some fruit (apples, oranges, bananas), bagels, coffee, and tea. There are very few restaurants nearby.” Nov 7, 2007 by
Marilyn
“A great little hotel. Nice kitchen with full size refrigerator, two burners, microwave. The room was laid out in a way that gave you privacy getting dressed in a dressing area next to bed that led into the bathroom. Sofa was comfy and was also sofa bed. TV could be turned to face any direction.” Oct 17, 2007 by
David from E. Dummerston, VT
“This is one of those places that gives you everything you need to be comfortable (kitchen and all) without charging you for all kinds of things you don't need (fancy fixtures and meeting rooms; ever attendant bell hops, etc) the rooms are clean, comfortable and large enough. All appliances work. Little sound from adjacent rooms (often a problem in these kinds of hotels). Nothing to complain about.” Oct 8, 2007 by
Gt from Newton Centre, MA
“This room felt like they had saved it until last. It was dusty, seemed dirty and had spider webs. I had stayed at this hotel about a month prior to this trip and my room was better. Also I could hear the person next door when I went to bed.” Oct 8, 2007 by
Lauren from West Chester, PA
“My first impression of the hotel was poor as the front desk staff was not entirely friendly, and I was shocked to learn that there are no cleaning services during the stay, in my case which was four days. Also, I was charged for internet use and spent nearly an hour on the phone with their internet help desk getting it to work, and the problem was only solved by the next day, which put me behind as I was on a business trip and needed access nightly.” Sep 28, 2007 by
Deepa from Basking Ridge, NJ
“This hotel is good for business travel as room is spacious and nice kitchen area. However, poor wireless internet connection is available and there is no option for high speed wired internet access (LAN) which a must now a days. I found cockroaches near bathroom area which is not acceptable.” Jun 29, 2007 by
Lisa from North Attleboro, MA
“We stayed at this hotel to be closer to a doctor's appointment in the morning. The location was very convenient (less than a minute off 128), clean, quiet and the staff was friendly. We did not use the pool, but it looked clean and well-kept. We had definitely stay again.” May 27, 2007 by
Scott from Sharon, MA
“Overall, this is a fine, affordable option for a 2 or 2.5 stars hotel.” May 13, 2007 by
Rich from NJ
“I had a very bad experience with the Waltham est., let me tell you the good news first. The rooms are very nice, with comfortable beds, relatively new appliances and meticulous housekeeping. The downsides are: office building construction right next door, their high-speed wireless was abysmally slow (dial-up speeds), their air conditioners make a loud metallic snap every time the compressor kicks on and the breakfast they offer consists of plain lenders bagels and horrible coffee. An office building is being built right across the street, literally 200 ft away. Every morning at 6 am, including Saturday, I was awoken by dump trucks backing up, dumping loads and making a complete racket. (Sounded like alarm clocks beeping and then small detonations at 6 am. The wifi is a known issue that they have been experiencing with their provider for weeks; I was counting on being able to do some online training videos that never happened. Most nights I was lucky to even get onto msn. I checked out 2 other rooms after 3 sleepless nights, all of their air conditioners make that horrible snap sound, if you don¿t sleep like the dead, this will without a doubt affect your sleep. Luckily the campus training program, which even warranted me staying at the hotel, provided breakfast because the coffee was awful and I don¿t particularly care for plain lenders bagels. Management was very understanding, but it doesn¿t negate the fact that I had the worst week of sleep ever.” May 12, 2007 by
Phyllis R. from Chestertown, MD
“We were advised we had a smoking room and that it was the best they had left. Our friends had a smoking room too, but did not experience any problems. In my wildest imagination, we could not have stayed in a worse room. Our night clothes smelled of smoke when we returned home. we would have moved out, but it was 9:00 p.m.” Apr 21, 2007 by
Hamesh from Breinigsville, PA
“Over all satisfied.” Mar 6, 2007 by
Kevin from Oakland, ME
“The room was clean. Staff was very helpful. Bed was comfortable! Good nights sleep!” Feb 27, 2007 by
Steve from Wynnewood, PA
“The hotel was very nice - room was nice and large with full kitchen. Easy to get to off i-95. Wish that computer in lobby would have worked.” Jan 31, 2007 by
Navarun
“Good location. Neat.” Jan 27, 2007 by
Dave R. from Springfield, MA
“Although wireless internet access was touted, there was no instruction card in the room. I assumed that I needed to log into a browser when I discovered that I needed a password. I called the desk by dialing "0" but no answer. I called the regular number from my cell phone and was told someone would call me right back. After 45 minutes, I got dressed and went to the lobby. I finally got the password without apology for my extended efforts. In the morning. I had to wait to check out as the desk clerk, who saw me approach the counter, left to refill coffee pots. Unlike the other staff at end, at least he spoke English. It made my final transaction with end easier.” Oct 19, 2006 by
Azure from Austin, TX
“This hotel was very nice overall. The bed and couch were both very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and spacious. The kitchenette was nice. I'd recommend this place to anyone.” Sep 14, 2006 by
Dave from E.Syracuse, NY
“We only were there for one night. The hotel appears to be new. Landscaped grounds were quiet and peaceful. The room was large with a kitchenette and a very large/comfortable bed, lots of pillows and a warm comforter. All and all a pleasant experience.” Aug 20, 2006 by
Cathie from Portland, OR
“Very comfortable, good price, a little off the beaten path, but easily accessible to the freeway.” Jul 14, 2006 by
Yung C. from Fremont, CA
“ Convenience Internet/computer access, breakfast weekdays and location. Thank you for the offer, we are very happy about the hotel service.” Jul 8, 2006 by
Sydney from Lyme, NH
“It was handy to have a kitchen. The bed wasn't that great, but the kitchen made up for it! The staff was terrific The AC didn't work correctly.” Jun 24, 2006 by
Brian from Arlington, VA
“This hotel is conveniently located for business travelers and close to my family. Not a great place for pure tourists of the Boston area. Price is great, staff courteous and helpful. Room is great for a family of four with young children. Kitchen is very useful and well-maintained.” Apr 20, 2006 by
Ramesh from Cincinnati, OH
“Very nice location for biz travelers n area, lots of competition next door, convenient Dunkin Donuts location nearby for busy breakfast, lunch grab-n-go people like me, construction on roads makes it difficult to find, legendary Yankee reserve makes it difficult to get clear directions, staff at hotel friendly but could be more pro-active in giving help for newcomers.” Feb 9, 2006 by
Barb from Arrowsic, ME
“Great for a business trip. Kitchenette, desk, and sofa in room. Small exercise room, coffee available 24 hours in the lobby. Continual breakfast only on weekdays.” Aug 24, 2005 by
Susan from Conway, MA
“Excellent facilities, very conveniently placed for excursions into Boston or visits to the Minute Man National Park.” Jul 28, 2005 by
Shelley from West Palm Beach, FL
“This hotel deserves more stars than it's been rated. It's bedding was luxurious as well as the rest of the room and the extremely helpful staff. Combined with my car rental - I still fared better than a regular priced room!” Apr 3, 2005 by
Wes from China Grove, NC
“This is a nice place. At retail, I would rate this hotel's value at nominal. The rooms are small for a suite, although they are appointed very nicely. ” Sep 21, 2004 by
Cynthia K. from Derry, NH “Very nice and clean. Bed was a little small, but acceptable.”
