• It was very clean and quiet, plus the security was good.
• I didn't care for the smell in the hallways, but it wasn't in the rooms.

“This is a very nice hotel to stay for an enjoyable time whether alone or with someone and it was clean. Security is important and the door was locked and could not be opened without the key which is a great feature for any hotel.”

• Convenient location.
• Smelled like stale smoke furniture dirty no shampoo.

“Had called to get two beds was on paperwork but they did not read paperwork had to reck into another room. Room stuffy smelled like stale smoke.”

• It was nice to have a kitchen in my room.
• There were many bad smells, in room, in hall, etc.
  I left my scarf when
  I checked out and the maid did not give it to lost and found.

“My room was spacious, clean and nice. For some reason I got put on a smoking floor. the entire hallway stank of smoke and possible septic problems. my room stank of lysol or some sort of cleaning product that induced a headache. the location was in the middle of nowhere.”

• Broken coffee pot (electrical), no shampoo or dish soap in room, had to ask at front deskand had to pay extra for internet access.

“Definitely not what I expected from them. I would be more upset I found cobwebs under the bed, and food under the recliner. The coffee pot kept blowing and there wasn't any shampoo or dish soap in the room. If I wanted those I had to go down to the lobby at the front desk. They didn't deliver anything to your room, had a very limited staff. I wouldn't think I would stay here again.”

• Clean, large room, great little kitchen, great staff, very inexpensive.
• Out of town a bit but not too far out. The local neighborhood is strip malls.

“Great for the money. Extremely clean, large room with kitchen. Area is close to numerous strip malls. Not a walking area but very close to Providence if you have a car - quick 5 min drive in on the highway.”

• The kitchen was well equipped and efficient.
• The air conditioner was noisy; making it difficult to sleep.

“The hotel room was appropriately sized, efficient, and appropriate for the length of our stay. The beds were not 100% comfortable; the noisy AC kept us awake. Otherwise, the stay was very good.”

• The hotel room had a mini kitchen!
• I had to pay $4.99 for access to the internet.

“My husband, my son and I had a decent time at the hotel. It's not a 5 star luxury hotel but it suited our needs. Having a kitchen in the room was a bonus. We could eat healthy and didn't have to spend extra on ordering out. Also, the hotel was clean and tidy. It made me feel comfortable. The only drawback is that the hotel didn't have any kid-friendly channels.”

• Clean room.
• No night attendant, no breakfast, pay for internet and pay for room cleaning. Horrible!

“I was not happy at all with this hotel. I had to pay for internet, pay for someone to clean my room, and they had no night person from 11pm to 7am. If I lost my key then I was out of luck. If I wanted a wake up call at 6 am, I was out of luck. They had no breakfast. This hotel is a 1 star at best. I would never stay there again.”

• The kitchen was convenient for our family. We had two rooms and had dinner for five in our room.
• I really disliked the bedspreads with patterns.

“The price was very reasonable and the rooms, including the kitchen were perfect for our stay. The lady at the reception desk was very friendly especially towards our two grandsons. She set the stage for a pleasant stay.”

• The bed was comfortable and we got a handicapped room and it was spacious.
• My in laws that were traveling with us ended up with a smoking room and it really stunk!

“The hotel said we were all set for 2 non-smoking queen rooms. When we got there, they said they had sold out and only one non-smoking room was available. This was very disappointing since they had told me previously that the rooms were non-smoking. I plan to say something to the hotel management about this.”

• This is a bare basics hotel, it doesn't even provide shampoo!

“If you need a clean, inexpensive place to stay this is fine. Not close to restaurants or even a place for breakfast, but if you don't mind traveling for food this is a decent place to stay. All rooms have a small kitchen. Front desk staff very professional and helpful.”

• Very convenient location, right off the highway and close to late night restaurants.
• Used plastic cups in the kitchenette rather than glasses.

“This hotel is very accessible to downtown. It is an extended stay hotel, catering to business travelers, but my wife and I stayed a Saturday night while visiting family and had a late evening arrival (10:15 pm). Very helpful staff, friendly and willing to assist. The room had a full kitchenette and was quite clean and well stocked with cooking and serving items. A very quiet room. My only negatives are that the drinking glasses were all plastic. And no courtesy shampoo was provided in the bathroom. Other than that, a good mid-quality hotel, worth staying there.”

• It was close to Providence.
• It just does not have the amenities or service the other two star hotels have.

“ESA seemed to be more of a motel or a full serviced apartment then a hotel. A 2 star hotel usually consists of daily room cleaning service, visitor information, 24hour front desk assistance, and sometimes continental breakfast is included. ESA had none of the above amenities that I've mentioned. I have no problems staying there, however I just don't think it should be considered a two star hotel.”

• Clean, comfortable, professional and courteous staff. I will stay there again.
• I needed a room with two beds (a double) because I traveled with a child. I slept in a chair because I could not get a double.

“I really like Extended Stay America. I would likely stay at any of their hotels when traveling and location is convenient. This Hotel may be my first choice if it is anything like the one I stayed at on two occasions. I travel Business and sometimes I may bring a family member (wife or child) along. ”

• Good on/off highway. Clean room. Friendly staff.
• Not too sure of security after 11:00 pm.

“Easy access to the highway. Loved having a fridge and microwave. Room was very clean, and bed was comfortable. Only stayed one night, but the charge of I think $4.99 for high speed internet for length of stay is a great deal. It is close to many restaurants and shopping if needed.”

• It was great having the kitchen & the room was roomy.
• I was charged an extra $20 to upgrade to 2 double beds.

“The hotel was a nice hotel, very clean. Very much aimed at the business traveler, but a nice thing for families as well - the kitchenette was very handy. There was a $20 charge for me to upgrade our room to a double room.”
