• The hotel was lovely, clean, nicely furnished and decorated.

“The staff was helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Our room was lovely, decor was outstanding, and the beds were very comfortable. I slept on the couch bed and it was as supportive and comfortable as a standard bed. Kudos to the Courtyard Marriot in Manchester, N.H.”

• Plasma TV and plush bedding were great treats!
• Room was near exit and the sound of the door slamming shut carried through the hallway.

• The room was clean and had online access.
• I hated that there was not at least a microwave/fridge or even better, a kitchen.

“The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. There is no fridge or microwave. This is ok for 1 night I guess, but not for any length of time. I have had much better stays. In fact, for our second and third night, we switched hotels.”

• The front desk staff was very friendly.
• The sink still had trimmed hair from previous visit. Yuck, how well did the cleaning staff actually clean the bathroom if visible hair was still there.

“Overall, I enjoyed this hotel. The staff was great and responded to my concern about a dirty sink in my room within minutes. They are non-smoking all throughout the hotel, a definite plus in my book. They asked me for my floor preference, and gave me a room with a beautiful balcony. Nice experience.”

“This very new hotel is exceptionally well-appointed and conveniently located, with simple yet tasteful decor, friendly staff, and exceptional amenities. Rooms are equipped with high-definition televisions and a wide variety of entertainment choices. The pool and exercise facilities are excellent, and the breakfast facility is comfortable and well-stocked. I would highly recommend this hotel for business and leisure travelers of all types.”

“While checking in the desk clerk had a call from a room and she put them on hold and then made a face at the phone and called them a name! My daughter and I didn't even know how to respond. When we asked her how far a particular college was, she said she never heard of it.”

• There was nothing I didn't like.

“The staff was friendly and efficient. Although the hotel was under a construction project, the hotel appeared clean with no obstructions from the construction. The room was inviting with a balcony and the mattress was surprisingly comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Manchester new Hampshire area.”

• The door malfunctioned and I was locked out of my room the first evening.

“I was locked out of my room the first evening. I was provided another room with toiletries and a free breakfast. Once the head maintenance man came in the morning they were able to open my door to access my things.”

• There was a lot of traffic noise and the interior walls are rather thin.

“The hotel is clean, affordable and located within minutes of the airport. Not recommended for light sleepers however - thin walls and traffic noise from the nearby highway and surrounding streets made it difficult to get a restful night's sleep.”

• Great hotel, great location.
• You can hear planes taking off, but it's not too bad.

“I used the pool, the whirlpool, the free high speed Internet in the lobby (there is a workstation in the lobby). Everything was perfect. The fitness room seemed in very good condition. You can get to the airport in 5 minutes, without taking the highway. You can here planes taking off (after 6am), but it is not very loud. If you are a good sleeper, it will not wake you up.”

• Did not honor a request for a NON smoking room. The room was very heavily smoked-in and smelled terrible.

“Run down and aging property in the Courtyard chain. Marriott should review and upgrade this property to their usual standards. Staff placed us in a smoking room which made things even worse. ”

“This hotel was very clean, the pool area and workout area was nice. The high speed internet was helpful. I did feel however that the breakfast bar should of been included in the night stay which it seems to be at most locations.”

• The location was ok. Right off the highway.

“There were double bed rooms available, but we couldn't have one. I was informed that our room would have a pullout sofa bed. This was fine, and I let the previous remark go by. Later when I went to open the sofa bed up, I discovered that there were no sheets. I went to the front desk and inquired about this, and waited for 5 minutes while the front desk attendant went out back. She came back with a set of sheets. I have traveled all over the world, and stayed in carrying degrees of accommodation, and have never had to "make my own bed". It's too bad their staff was so rude to us in the evening, because during checkout the next day the staff was quite nice and very polite. The hotel was ok, but their staff needs some sensitivity training.”

“I would recommend this hotel. I did not use any of the extra facilities except the internet set up. I did hear a family with young children state that they were going to the pool. They all seemed happy.”

• I liked that the hotel was close to the airport, restaurants, mall and an easy route to downtown Manchester.

“The indoor pool and hot tub were well maintained with an adequate supply of towels. The exercise room was adequate with various machines and stayed open 24 hours. There was a computer in the lobby that you could use for no charge.”

• We slept well. The receptionist at the front desk was very helpful.
• I found it hard to find. It really doesn't have much to do with the airport.

• Breakfast buffet was $7.95 and did not look like it was worth the price.

“The hotel is well kept, has nice size rooms and modest but reasonably nice furnishings. The staff is friendly and exceptionally helpful with local information for travelers. It is not at the airport but is convenient to the airport and is very close to the Mall of New Hampshire, other shopping including a Wal-Mart and lots of good chain restaurants.”

• Room was located near elevator. Room size was adequate but seemed small compared to other Courtyard rooms I have stayed at.

• Airplane noise can be disrupting.

“This was a clean hotel, with quality service. The pool and gym are small, but are great features. Meeting rooms were utilized frequently several different groups for presentations. Breakfast area had multiple options and reasonable pricing. Staff was helpful and interested.”

• The bathroom mirror and sink being outside the bathroom.
• The room was small.

“I love Marriot Hotels. The rooms decor is inviting and cozy since the rooms are on the small side. The sink outside the bathroom is what I consider an amenity. Eluding the breakfast rushes at surrounding restaurants and opting for a quality full breakfast, with no Sunday morning wait right downstairs.”

• Although we could not get a room with two double beds, they were willing to bring a cot in to accommodate a child sharing a room.
• The only available breakfast was an expensive buffet.
