“I found it easy to find this hotel from the airport. When I checked in, I was greeted by staff. He very extremely pleasant pointing out some of the hotel features, like breakfast hours and offered me a wake up call. I enjoyed complimentary Wi-Fi, a clean room, and a comfortable king bed. Bonus: This property has gone to nonsmoking! In the morning I headed to the Breakfast Area and was greeted by staff. The area was clean and adequate. Make yourself waffles, fruit, yogurt, Jimmy Dean Breakfast Sandwiches, and much more. People stop complaining about this breakfast. It has something for everybody. The juice was great and not watery. The coffee was pretty darn good for a hotel. I could find no fault in staying at this property.”

“Fairfield Inn Marriott was a short distance to a major highway. Wall-mart, McDonalds, Mall were all extremely close (2-3 minutes away). I would highly recommend this hotel!”

“With kids traveling in the cold months, it would be nice to have had an indoor pool as this motel only had an outside motel & in Northern NH you can not swim outside until June. No activities in motel such a ping pong table-game room etc. mall was close by.”

• Good size room, good breakfast, heating was silent.
• Faucet dripped, bed skirt was torn, and exercise room was a joke.

“Arrived the day before the snowstorm of mid-to late February. 2008 room was decent-sized and things were clean, check in was very friendly. Continental breakfast was better than most, had make your own waffles (only artificial maple syrup though) and egg sandwiches you could microwave. The room heating was silent which was nice (and effective), but the doorknob was annoying. Minimal parking out front, but lots in back; very close to highway 293 (like 1/4 mile); right off of strip mall with lots of stores and restaurants, a couple miles from Downtown Manchester.”

• Awesome free breakfast with waffle machine, microwave sandwiches on top of the regular fare.
• Exercise room only had two pieces of equipment.

“This hotel was clean and worthy of 2 stars but definitely starting to show its age, not as fancy as the other Fairfield I've used and I'm glad I didn't pay full price. However the continental breakfast was great!”

• Guest computer in lobby.
• Basically no hot water, barely warm, took 10 min to get.

“The hotel was barely passable. It was very cold in the room and took forever to warm up, the hot water if you could call it that took 10 minutes minimum in the afternoon after a cold snowy run when I really needed a hot shower. The water temp was warm only.”

• The room itself was exceptionally clean.
• There was a little bit of mildew around the caulking in the tub.

“Nice staff greeted us and checked us in quickly. The room was convenient and was next to the workout room which looked well-equipped. The Wi-Fi was free which always makes a big difference. I like Fairfield hotels.”

• The hotel staff was absolutely fabulous.
• Television selection was extremely limited.

“Overall, the hotel was excellent. Breakfast selection was quite good. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The television selection was very limited. As a die hard Red Sox fan I could not watch it at the Hotel as then did not carry Nesn. As a result I missed the first no hitter the Sox pitched in 17 years.”

• The convenient location.
• Poor internet access with broken equipment.

“While this hotel is in a desirable location near the airport, and major shopping areas, it is rundown, and poorly equipped. I had the most unfortunate experience to be there with hundreds of young teenagers who ran rampant through the halls, in the parking lots, elevators and stairwells. The noise of these out of control young people and the chaos they created was in no way managed by the establishment. A horrible experience for two sleepless nights.”

• I loved the bed. It was so comfortable we slept through our Saturday night plans!
• Our bath tub was draining slowly and we asked for repair or a room change which did not happen.

“This hotel is nice, especially for the price. The staff was cheerful and friendly. However we did have a minor problem. Our bathtub drained slowly so that we were standing in 2 or 3 inches of water while showering. I requested maintenance or a room change and was assured that upon my return that evening, one of the two would have happened. When we awoke to shower the next morning, we discovered that the tub had not been fixed.”

• Pizza and salad served in lobby - not enough salad.

“Very friendly/helpful counter staff (especially Raleigh & Steve). Fairly easy access from airport. Food (pizza/salad @ evening; waffles etc. @ breakfast = more than adequate! Clean room & bathroom; comfortable bed. A shortcoming: only one elevator (could be trouble if hotel crowded). Easy access to fast food places. For $79.00 = very hard to beat.”

• The location was good and it was easy on and off to the highway.
• Room had a tobacco container on the floor next to the bed.

“This hotel is situated next to the highway with easy access to and from the highway and airport. The hotel is fairly new or recently renovated with an outdoor pool and spacious rooms. The breakfast was fresh and tasty including waffles. The staff was a highlight for this category of hotels they were very friendly and responsive to the problems I encountered during my stay.”

• There was nothing to not like!

• The front desk clerk was excellent.
• Cleanliness.

“We had to check in to three rooms, the first two were hideously dirty. The first one smelled like a sewer which as it turns out was a sewer smell. The desk clerk was excellent and sent us to another room. It was a disaster. Someone had cut their hair in the bathroom, dirty bandied on the floor, very dirty sinks and floors. Just awful. We went to a third room and all was fine. The gal at the front desk made all the difference with her customer oriented positive attitude.”

• Unfortunately, we were placed in a smoking room and the non-smoking rooms were full. My fiance said she "felt like an ashtray in the morning"

“This nicely located hotel was easy to find, had quick service and clean rooms. The included breakfast was nice as well. I would recommend staying here to people passing through town on business.”

• Could hear conversations in other rooms, bed squeaked, TV had a lisp.

“It was horrible. The walls were paper thin and you could hear other conversations from other rooms, the bed squeaked every time you move, the TV was hard to understand because something was wrong with the tuner or tuning. When the other guests used the restroom or took a shower, you could hear EVERYTHING. Did not get a good nights rest. Was not worth the money spent.”

“Having stayed at another Fairfield Inn for the weekend, my girlfriend and I expected the same amazing service, great rooms, and all of the other "little things" that made our first stay great. At this hotel, however, the employee who "greeted" us seemed annoyed to be there. She wasn't outright rude, but just generally unhappy. When we were told that no king rooms were available, it took a few minutes to decide whether we wanted one or two doubles. We asked a few questions, and got an aggravated response. The room itself was great (no micro-fridge, though), and the stay was fine, but the staff all seemed like they didn't like their jobs. Also, they seemed very haughty. We were both in jeans and sweats because we were both ill with the flu, no makeup, etc., and I can't help but think that they would have treated us very differently if we had gone in dressed as we usually are. All in all, I would highly suggest the Fairfield Inn, just maybe not this one!”

“Excellent, friendly, totally helpful staff. Nice touches like 24-hour coffee and tea, a full continental breakfast, hot soup or pizza and salad in the evening. Printed out directions for anywhere I wanted to go. I felt that they were genuinely glad that I was there and wanted me to be totally comfortable and cared for. This is a remarkable property.”

• Clean and easy access from I-293.
• The parking was an issue. I had to park in a unmarked space and was told not to worry about being towed even though the street signs said no parking.

“The hotel was fine and the staff upon check in was courteous. However, the lady who worked the evening shift was very rude and snappy. She was very disrespectful to me when I asked her about the parking situation.”
