• Easy access to MHT airport
• Pillows old and worn

“Hotel is basic Fairfield with free coffee in room and complimentary light breakfast each morning. Pool is outside and not well kept. Towels and pillows are worn but rooms are clean and bed was comfortable. A/C not too effective during 80 degree summer day. TV gets about 20 channels (old style tube tv) through cable.”

• Very friendly and helpful. Lobby computer with direct boarding pass icon.

“My wife and I were very satisfied. Upon arriving they offered shuttle service to us so we could return our rental car and then had shuttle service the next morning for our flight out. Very helpful and accommodating. Offered good information as to good places to eat and had printed copy of places that would deliver to our room. Would easily stay there again.

• Bathtub did not drain properly; no exercise facility.

“Clean, comfortable, excellent location to airport. Very good continental breakfast, however, breakfast ended at 9:00am on a holiday; hotel information states 10:00am. Did not have exercise room.”

• Convenience to Manchester airport and cleanliness.
• Had hoped to use the hotel as a space to leave the car while away but leaving it there cost as much as long term parking at the airport.

• The decor was smart and contemporary, the service was very friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was fine.
• The room was very clean overall, but there were some cobwebs on the lamp shades and the shower curtain liner was moldy.

“This is a good place for business travelers. Smartly appointed and overall very clean. The free breakfast was fine and staff was very friendly. Beds were very comfortable.”

“The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I had to wait a long time at the airport for the shuttle. After I checked in, I asked if the shuttle van could take me to a nearby restaurant and was told no. I had to walk in the rain and cross and major highway as there was no room service or dining facility in the hotel.”

• The staff at this hotel is great! Pretty good breakfast, fresh fruit available all day, warm cookies.
• Nothing.

“I was at a 3 star and moved to this hotel. This hotel was much better in every way. The beds are very comfortable, the pillows are comfortable. When I requested a refrigerator they didn't have one available at first, but they remembered and called my room when one became available. Great service. The location is convenient for my business purpose. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Some 3 and 4 stars could take notes.”

“This hotel is really a good value. Free breakfast, fresh fruit out all day, coffee all day with flavored creamers. Very helpful front desk crew. They do not allow kids to tie up the business center computer all day.”

• Nothing much in the neighborhood to do or look at.

“Within reach of Logan Airport within an hour or two. Well-kept rooms and a perfectly adequate free breakfast: waffles (though the waffle maker seemed to have a sticking problem during both of our stays), breakfast sandwiches, fruit, pastries, coffee (available hot 24 hours in the lobby), juice, yogurt, milk. The fitness room mentioned in their material is not yet operational, but they do offer a free pass to a fitness center downtown. Not a lot in the immediate vicinity, but plenty of fast food and the like if you are in a pinch.”

• The hotel was very convenient and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• When I arrived, the heat was on in my room. It was July and quite humid outside. We were able to easily fix the situation, however.

“The Fairfield Inn in Manchester, NH was very comfortable and clean. It perfectly suited my needs for my short, one-night stay in Manchester. I would not hesitate to stay there again.”

• Front desk guy Larry was outstanding!
• Housekeeping turned my AC up to high level 10 when I had it set on low level 4.

“Great, overall, experience for traveler. Close to many choices for food and shopping. Hotel was very clean, staff very accommodating (except I did not like the fact that housekeeping turned my room into an igloo when I was gone! I had purposely turned the AC down!) Anyway, great place to stay.”

• Outdoor pool with much trash blown in, including cigarette butts.

“The hotel is nice for business and leisure, room was very clean. The exercise room was under construction and pool was dirty due to wind blowing trash in. The hotel staff did try to keep it clean but were less than successful.”

“I found it easy to find this hotel from the airport. When I checked in, I was greeted by staff. He very extremely pleasant pointing out some of the hotel features, like breakfast hours and offered me a wake up call. I enjoyed complimentary Wi-Fi, a clean room, and a comfortable king bed. Bonus: This property has gone to nonsmoking! In the morning I headed to the Breakfast Area and was greeted by staff. The area was clean and adequate. Make yourself waffles, fruit, yogurt, Jimmy Dean Breakfast Sandwiches, and much more. People stop complaining about this breakfast. It has something for everybody. The juice was great and not watery. The coffee was pretty darn good for a hotel. I could find no fault in staying at this property.”

“With kids traveling in the cold months, it would be nice to have had an indoor pool as this motel only had an outside motel & in Northern NH you can not swim outside until June. No activities in motel such a ping pong table-game room etc. mall was close by.”

• Good size room, good breakfast, heating was silent.
• Faucet dripped, bed skirt was torn, and exercise room was a joke.

“Arrived the day before the snowstorm of mid-to late February. 2008 room was decent-sized and things were clean, check in was very friendly. Continental breakfast was better than most, had make your own waffles (only artificial maple syrup though) and egg sandwiches you could microwave. The room heating was silent which was nice (and effective), but the doorknob was annoying. Minimal parking out front, but lots in back; very close to highway 293 (like 1/4 mile); right off of strip mall with lots of stores and restaurants, a couple miles from Downtown Manchester.”

• Basically no hot water, barely warm, took 10 min to get.

“The hotel was barely passable. It was very cold in the room and took forever to warm up, the hot water if you could call it that took 10 minutes minimum in the afternoon after a cold snowy run when I really needed a hot shower. The water temp was warm only.”
