“We picked this hotel because of its proximity to Providence En Route to NYC. It was new, clean, modern and comfortable. It included breakfast. This was a great value and I would pick it again if in the same location - near TF Green airport.”

• Decent breakfast was available early, bed was comfortable, and the location was fine.
• Black mold on shower soap dish, dirty looking hall and carpets.

“Decent business stay, price should have been lower, mold in shower, early breakfast and newspaper was good, comfortable bed, dark dirty looking hall carpets, female friendly desk clerk and male grump desk clerk, a mixed experience.”

• Clean, pleasant surroundings, reasonable rates, easy to find and excellent shuttle!
• Lobby on second floor, not first and not clearly marked in elevator! Got lost trying to leave!

• Request made for additional chair not met with any explanation.

“Nice greeting upon check in. Friendly staff. Made request for luggage rack and additional chair, but no response - guess they "forgot. Thankful for inquiry by Manager when exiting hotel as seem genuine.”

• The rooms were very appealing and very comfortable as well.
• The breakfast seemed to shut down a little early.

“My experience with this hotel was pleasant. The rooms were nice, comfortable, and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful when it came to questions asked. It was very close to the airport and the complimentary shuttle was helpful as well.”

• Our bathroom floor was dirty and one of the beds had stains.

“Most La Quinta Inn's are very appealing. This one needed a little more TLC in the bedroom. The staff was friendly and assisted in our problems in a timely manner when there were issues with other guests.”

• Complimentary breakfast, friendly service, clean. Internet access in lobby worked well.
• Rooms comfortable but not very attractive.

“Good for business travelers or casual travelers to Providence area. Commute to downtown Providence is about 10 minutes. Facilities clean and La Quinta provides a computer in lobby for complimentary 15-minute internet access and a great breakfast. The rooms could look nicer, but are very comfortable. 2-2.5 stars.”

“The hotel hallways and our room smelled like smoke, even though smoking was not allowed in the space. Used towels were also left on the floor in the bathroom of our room, after it had been cleaned.”

• The room was clean and the hotel had great amenities in a great location!
• The staff did not know a lot and did not inform us of happenings.

“The hotel was wonderful until the fire alarms started going off every half hour or so for at least 3 minutes at a time 3 days straight. The manager and other staff did not warn us about the fire alarms nor give us an explanation as they were going on, they simply let it happen without mention until we approached them about it! They were rude and during breakfast the staff was rude as well. The only redeeming quality of the staff was that the cleaning ladies were nice and helpful!”

“The hotel itself was pretty good for the star level and the amenities were great! The staff, however, could never figure out how to check us in and bothered us quite often. Furthermore, there were fire alarms going off for three days at various time intervals and there was no explanation from the staff as to why or when they would stop, etc. Very unfriendly! The cleaning ladies were the best part of the staff.”

• The staff was friendly and accommodating.
• There was construction going on but they did not disturb me in the evening.

“The staff must have checked me in over the phone and when I got there they indicated that I had already checked in. When they saw I had not they checked everything out to make sure my room was empty and they were very pleasant. I found the staff friendly and the rooms clean. I would highly recommend the LaQuinta Inn to anyone traveling to Rhode Island. Although I did not use it, there was adequate shuttle service to the airport. The staff helped make my trip enjoyable.”

• Very unhappy with this hotel.
• Under construction, strong smell from new carpets/paint, arrived @ 12:30 am-had to change rooms-bed not made, kitchen locked.

“I made reservations at this la quintal because I had always had beautiful and comfortable rooms in previous la quintal hotels. This hotel was under construction (no mention of this when I made reservations on-line), had strong smell of paint and new carpeting, (also, decor is dark and dreary) we arrived in early am due to a late flight, but couldn't even get juice or a cup of coffee in the morning after the kitchen closed at 9:30 am (the machines were locked. I was also given another persons receipt. The mgr was trying to be funny until I told him I wasn't laughing. My review. Never again!”

• The choose of beds I needed 2 double but a cot was brought to me along with micro & fridge.

• Beds, pillows, rooms so clean and comfortable. Spacious. Great breakfast. Nice pool. Easy on/off I-95.
• Breakfast hours should be longer. Easy to hear hallway activity.

“The rooms are spacious and clean. The pillows great. Loved the bedding-cotton, white duvet. Bathrooms like new. Easy off/on I-95. 5 min. from Providence, 15 from Seekonk. Hotel like new. Pool quiet, clean. Nice breakfast w/ waffles, yogurt, fruit, muffins, bagels, juice. Something for everyone. Easy to hear hallway activity but the other patrons well-mannered. A/C no problem. Got room @ 1/2 price. This was perfect for our family. We booked 2 rooms. No problems/complaints. No airport noise.”

• The staff is exceptionally friendly and ready to make your staff perfect.
• I have nothing but wonderful comments about this hotel.

“The staff is fantastic, the hotel is clean, breakfast was great with a good selection and the breakfast room was very clean. Hotel also has a laundry room and they provide the detergent. Doesn't get much better. Hotel is located right at the Route 95 exit and next door to a very good restaurant.”

• Location seemed a bit obscure, taxi ride from train station was pricey, over $20.

• The staff was very friendly and the waffles were great.
• Some loud hotel guests could not be controlled at 3am.

“We really were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. For a 2 star hotel it was really nice. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and a good breakfast. We had a small problem the last night there. There were loud noisy guests at 3am that nobody could get to go in their rooms or do anything about. We felt we were could either wait for them to pass out or leave. Needless to say we left at 4am with the other people still in the hall. The staff apologized and I believe it was sincere BUT nothing was done about it. I was told it was a large family occupying many rooms on that floor but I felt it should not have been tolerated-they were drunk and rowdy. That was one night the rest of the stay was really great.”

• Convenient location, comfortable bed, free Hi speed internet, good breakfast, very friendly staff.
• The location is not the best.

“This hotel is a good option if you are flying out the next day from Providence International airport. It's about 3 miles away and close to the rental car returns. The room was very comfortable and the front desk staff were very friendly. The wireless hi-speed internet and nice continental breakfast were pluses too.”

• No cable in my room phone screwed up nobody fixed either.

“Never had a problem there until this time when someone had taken the cable box from my room, and the phone didn't work half the time, was told I would be given a free night, but didn't happen.”

• New beds are very comfortable.
• Little parking in front and close down breakfast at 9 am.

“Location is very convienient to I95, but a little ways from TF Green airport. Room was comfortable, parking in the back was a bit inconvienient since my key card would not open the back door and I had to walk all the way around the building.”
