- The doors in/out of the hotel with relation to the parking not so easy to get around without a lot of waling.

- Leaving, and the custodial staff were pleasant.
- The maintenance and the front desk staff.
“The menu was a typo mess, that should have told me something about the food. The front desk staff was, at night, flip and giggly like school girls, and between the 3-5 behind the desk at any point - only one was competent in any way - and she was rude!”

- The room was awful. Carpets were a mess. The bedding had bodily fluids/stains on them / furniture soiled.
- Staff was very friendly.

- The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful.
- The room was nice but plain.
“My husband and I only stayed one night, but were pleased. The staff was so helpful in helping me to find the bus routes and other pointes of interest in providence. The lobby offered free internet downstairs but not in the room. They also offered some items for breakfast as well. The room was plain but appeared to be clean.”

- It was clean. The staff was nice.
- There was a Pee Wee Hockey convention or something going on. There were kids running up and down the halls very late at night
“It is a nice hotel. The staff was nice enough to switch our room because of a Pee Wee Hockey convention going on and there were kids running up and down the halls! The larger room we got was very nice. The only bad things (other than the kids) were that the heat in the pool wasn't working! And when I called in the morning to ask for some cream and sugar 10 minutes later one of the staff walked all the way to our room on the 5th floor to bring us two packets of sugar and two tiny things of cream!”

- The staff was very helpful and friendly, they had a free airport shuttle and option to park for a fee if not staying overnight.
- The lack of entrances in reference to where you had to park. Long walks to/from building with bags.

- The absolutely comfy bed, nice pool and great service.
- My stay did not keep me here enough!
“A very nice upscale hotel which treated us as guests and not customers. The room is big and clean, the service is terrific and the near airport location works out perfectly. Within 15 minutes of getting to your, the front desk calls to make sure you are happy with everything. A very nice caring touch.”

- Attractive lobby and friendly staff.
- Bathroom needs updating, which is about to happen. Area near hotel is blah, but I knew that coming in.
“This hotel lived up to my expectations for the price I paid. Our friends stayed in a more convenient hotel in Downtown Providence attached to the convention center, but paid 3x as much, plus paid for parking. Here, parking is free and it was only about 12 to 15 minutes at most to Providence Place. The room was generally clean and I hear the rooms are soon to be renovated. The outside has been renovated but is still nothing special with limited room for landscaping of any kind. The breakfast buffet is pretty limited, and not cheap, but there are other restaurants nearby. The staff was very friendly, and the two-sided fireplace which faces the lobby and pool was nice.”

- Hotel was under construction - I was unaware of this until I arrived.
“The hotel is good for one night stays prior/after a flight to/from Green Airport. It is/was under construction when I was there - so therefore not everything was open/available. The bar/pub information in hotel room said it was open until 1am -- it closed at 11pm. In addition, I didnt see any vending machines containing water and/or soda.”

- Snow plow piled snow behind vehicles.
“Hotel is located right near the airport and several restaurants. Staff is friendly. I was there through two snow storms, the first dropped over 8" of snow and the snow plow pushed the snow from the parking lot against the back of the parked cars and many guests had to use a hotel shovel to dig their way out. I think someone from the hotel staff should have removed the snow so guests could get in and out of parking spaces. When traveling most people do not have shovels in their trunk, especially if they rent the car and come from Florida, like me.”

- Extra charges for internet and phone.
“This hotel is located just minutes from T.F. Green Airport. They offer a free shuttle to the airport or anywhere in the near area. Local phone calls, as well as toll-free 800 calls were $.99. Internet was available for $9.95 per day. The hotel was under renovation during our stay, but this did not interfere at all. Upon arrival we were told that we were getting an upgraded room, one on the 5th floor with access to a special lounge with evening appetizers and morning breakfast. Because of time constraints we were unable to visit the lounge. The room to which we were upgraded was one of the largest hotel rooms I've been in, and included a bar sink and small refrigerator. It did not appear to have been renovated (needed it), and perhaps that is why we were "upgraded". The desk clerk called after we'd been in the room about half an hour to check that everything was alright. I didn't mention that there was conditioner but no shampoo. The airport shuttle was there at exactly the time I requested in the morning and I arrived at the airport with no problems.”

- The staff was accommodating.
- It is dingy and lacks most modern conveniences.
“This is a dated hotel with dark dingy decor on a very noisy busy street. Although there is a restaurant it is cold and dark. The food is ok. There is a tiny fitness facility which is inadequate for the size of the hotel. The rooms have very loud fans which make sleeping difficult. The towels are tiny. The back doors to the hotel do not have places to use your key to open them so the doors are open all day and locked all night. This is unsafe in the day and inconvenient at night.”

- The remodeling which has already been done is very nice. The finished product should enhance it more.
- Exiting the hotel parking lot onto post road nearly got me into a serious accident. There was way too much traffic and poor visibility in pm hours.

- Undergoing roof re-construction - beware!
“I had a better experience at this hotel last month. I was given a room on a higher floor and it was spacious and well-appointed. This time around, I was assigned to the "basement" (first floor is below the second-floor check-in level). The room was "tired" and I found only de-café coffee packets the next morning for the in-room coffeemaker. The hotel is in the middle of roof re-construction. All in all, slightly disappointing.”

- The bed, linens and especially the pillows.
- The toilet bowl needs cleaning & should have free internet.
“Overall the hotel was ok. However, the first 2 nights we stayed, the fire alarm was set off @ 12:50 am and did not make an announcement what caused it which I was very annoyed. The parking lot needs clean up, and one more thing, dont leave anything valuable in your car because one of the parked car was vandalized. The hotel should have free internet.”

- No explanation or compensation for 2 a.m. fire alarms.
“The hotel was fine except for the hassle of being waken up for the false fire alarms and no offer for compensation. The alarm was around 1:30 a.m. and by the time you went back to sleep it was 3:30 a.m. and had to be up at 7 a.m. was very inconvenience. A free breakfast opportunity on location would have made it easier for those of us who had to suffer that experience.”

- Car got burglarized, fire alarm at 1am both nights, unhelpful staff.
“Both nights we stayed at the hotel, the fire alarm was set off by construction taking place on the property, forcing us out of our room. Then, our car window had been smashed, and our belongings stolen. The front desk was relatively unhelpful.”

- Room smelled musty; internet service expensive; TV channel selection poor; lots of outside renovations going on.
“The front desk staff of this hotel was very helpful and friendly and the bed was extremely comfortable. Housekeeping services did a very good job. However, the parking lot and areas around the hotel were poorly lit and outside entrance doors were left unlocked until later in the evening (no mechanism requiring use of hotel key to enter via side entrance doors). My room smelled musty (there was a container of Damp Rid behind a chair) and the TV channel selection was limited/poor. Room could have used brighter/more lighting and bathroom needs a vent van. Sound-proofing between rooms and rooms and hallways was non-existent. You could hear everything. The $9.95 daily cost for high-speed internet was outrageous and though I didn't use it, room service prices were extremely high as well. The exterior was undergoing renovation and landscaping was in poor condition. Did not eat at restaurant or use pool/workout room.”

- Wow! Oh my goodness, the bed was the most comfortable Ive slept in and the bed linens were also divine! I didn't want to get up!
- Pool being able to be viewed by people in lobby.
“Beds and linens you will want at home. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Very central so easy to get airport, malls, restaurants and to downtown. Nice indoor pool. Can walk to a number of restaurants and to a dunking' doughnuts!”

- Put me in a room that had mold and mildew growing on the wall near the window. Smelled dank.

- The staff was great and the beds were comfortable.
- It was under construction and was difficult to get in and out of the building.
“The hotel was in a great location, the staff was very accommodating but the restaurant was not well equipped and the food was not good. They tried hard, but missed the mark. I would stay there again, Sheraton is a reliable hotel chain.”
