• The beds were the best, and the hot breakfast buffet was delicious.
• The front desk clerk was rude and unfriendly.

“Overall, the hotel was a most positive experience. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and had all amenities that one needs. The ungracious front desk clerk was the only negative, but she was one person and did not spoil it for us.”

• Comfortable room, accommodating staff, nice facilities & atmosphere, homey with breakfast & p.m. treats.
• Air conditioning in halls was almost too cold. That's about it.

“I was very happy with this hotel, it was easy to find. My daughter (17) and I were traveling with the local film festival. We arrived very late. Was greeted nicely and we (2 girls) felt very safe.”

• The room was nice and the bed was comfy.
• The volume control on the lobby TV was broken and the printer in the business station did not work.

“Very nice, clean, attractive and comfortable room. Good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. There were a few things that didn't work quite right, but all in all it was a comfortable stay.”

“The Hampton Inn by the providence, RI airport gave us a warm, friendly, quiet and secure respite from our difficult traveling. The room appointments were just right. The decorative portraits of the rich and cartoonist characters in the dining area, and the uplifting photos inside the elevators gave us the smiles we weary travelers needed.”

“I would not use this hotel again due to customer service was rude and not at all worried about time waiting. The breakfast bar was out of half of the food 1/2 hour before closing and would not replenish. Very poor stay in my view.”

“I think the hotel was fine. I was disappointed to be in a smoking room. They could/would not guarantee a non smoking room. I think that there should be some consideration given for non smokers.”

• The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
• TV stations-horrible! No movie channels for hotel room entertainment at night. Bathrooms need fans.

“Our experience was a very pleasant one. The rooms were very clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the continental breakfast was just "ok". 10:00 am is very early to shut down the breakfast when people are vacationing. Staff was excellent and friendly. The TV in rooms were horrible, small and very old and! No movie channels for entertainment and also they did not even have DVD players. Made evenings very boring because there was no entertainment in hotel, just a bar/lounge. They should also have fans in the bathrooms. Even with the door open, the mirrors were always fogging up.”

“This hotel was wonderful. Huge, spacious rooms with an extremely comfortable bed. Not only is the hotel nice but the afternoon snacks are a wonderful extra that you can not get at most hotels. Plenty of parking and easy access to the main highway and the local airport.”

• The room stunk like an uncleaned ashtray; windows would not open to provide any clean air.

“I am very prone to allergic reactions to cigarette smoke and staying at the Hampton Inn, E. Warwick was a nightmare! I had to drug myself up with Claritin to sleep and wanted vomit when I woke up in the morning. The hotel claimed, "that their 'system' could not change our room. It was a disgusting night's lodging.”

• Young man that drove shuttle in pm was extremely helpful; carried luggage to room, volunteered restaurant info.
• No one was available to carry luggage to lobby at 4:00 am.

“Hampton Inn was very nice and very friendly staff, even prepared sack breakfast for those of us who left before regular breakfast time (6:00 am). Rooms were clean, extras like bottled water and Oreo cookies were appreciated.”

• Hot breakfast items need to be improved. I expected more, but it disappointed.

• The room, bathroom, bed were sparkling clean. Bed was more comfortable than mine at home.
• The bar/lounge area was noisy and full of rowdy kids late into the night.

“The staff was efficient, the room was very clean and attractive, the temperature control worked superbly (no fans turning on and off; temperature was very uniform all night). I especially liked that the bedding (including the coverlet) was laundered 'just for us' with a sign to tell us so. The lobby featured a cheerful fire that greeted us when we entered. I was very pleased.”

• It was clean, convenient. A bit upscale for what we expected. The people in the hotel were very nice.
• Did not like the rubber eggs.

“Overall, I thought this hotel was very nice. It had a lot of amenities in the room that I found convenient. I liked the little store near the desk where I could buy snacks at whatever hour. It was also clean and quiet as some hotels are very loud. I thought this was a great find.”

“We stayed at the Hampton Inn on a whim as we decided to visit some friends in East Greenwich. The hotel was adequately located. The staff was courteous and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the dining area was nice. Ideal for last minute or business travelers given proximity to airport and Providence area.”

• The location of the hotel being right across from the airport was great. Very convenient!
• No toothpaste in the rooms as part of the toiletries that they supply.

“Located directly across from the airport, yet no airport noise was heard. We did hear TV and talking from adjacent rooms. Free airport shuttle is available although we did not use it. The entire floor was non-smoking but the hallway smelled of smoke. It was not noticeable once we shut the door to our room. Free internet access in the room, but connection quality was not consistent. We actually had a better connection through the unlocked wireless from the hotel across the street. The hotel is within walking distance of a few restaurants.”

• Staff was great, friendly, near a great restaurant and close to the highway but quiet.
• Two beds instead of one bed was our least favorite thing.

• Near the airport; managers reception Wed.; had bagged breakfast for guests leaving too early for in house one.
• View was a wall from the window; no refrigerator in room.

“This hotel suited my need for a place to stay for early flight from the airport. I would stay at the Hampton for a longer stay. The staff was pleasant & helpful and the regular breakfast smelled good cooking on my way out at 5:15 a.m.”

• The suite was clean, comfortable and roomy. The king sized bed and pillows were very comfortable and the location was very handy for us.
• I would have preferred an in-house restaurant for a regular breakfast menu.

• We thought all rooms were suites, but ours had two Queen beds so we used the lounge for conversation.
